It's designed with kids and families in mind. Lots of changing spots (that are beach themed!), plenty of chairs to sit in while your kid splashes around, clean bathrooms, and lots to keep kids busy while you wait. My brother loved the fish in aquarium, tattoo freebies, and the "2023 swim goals". The swimming itself, I'm sure he loves, but I'm just really impressed with all other stuff to keep kids entertained while you wait. Free wifi too-I can check my email to my heart's content. My almost 18 month old and I have been at Goldfish for around 4 months. It has been a great…read moreexperience and she has gained real confidence in the water. She looks forward to it and gets excited when her swimsuit goes on. She practices her skills in the bathtub without any prompting. At her age there are definitely weeks where we do more play than practice but that's based on her mood and the lesson goes on without us. It's been a great bonding experience for us too, not to mention something to do in the winter during Covid-19. We aren't comfortable with many of the activity options for toddlers right now but Goldfish is set up so that she doesn't have contact with others (despite her best efforts). Goldfish is clean and bright and the cleaning between lessons is evident.

It has a great balance of feeling both intimate and structured. There is very little staff turnover and the staff really care about the kids. We also love that they're not-for-profit. We were here for about a half a year before switching to another daycare that was closer to our house--but found the new daycare was nowhere near up to par (high staff turnover, chaotic environment, young staff on their cell phones). We came back to 12 Corners after a few months and have not regretted moving back at all. Child care isn't cheap, but that's the case for a lot of places now, and it's definitely worth it to not be worried about dropping my child off every morning.
