My coworkers warned me of how filthy this place was and their pest problem but figured I would give it a try since I always pass it. I stopped here on my way home through downtown, took one look around and left. I checked out their tobacco products and their tobacco is not actually state minimum prices so the sign in front is a blatant lie. Avoid this place, there's better options on Wood street.

As soon as you walk into the shop, you're greeted with multiple coin gambling machines, which speaks about who frequents this place. There is a wide variety of processed snacks here. If you have a beloved snack, you most likely will find it here. My favorite thing about this store is the wall of shame. Pictures of individuals who were caught stealing from the store are displayed above the cash register and some of the walls. Some pictures also have fun jokes written about the folks that were caught. If you're looking to kill 5 minutes downtown, go into this place. If you are looking for some cheap smoke accessories and other questionable items to entertain yourself, you'll find it here.

Each level has different elements. There's stairs, as well as an elevator to access all levels. Prices seem reasonable for the things that they offer. Everything is well kept and in protective sleeves, etc to preserve it from getting worn. Every employee was pleasant and friendly. Not sure about parking as we walked. But, it's super close to the Heinz History Center so could easily walk from there. Well worth a visit!!

There are multiple floors at Eide's and you can take the stairs but there is an elevator. Their floors are organized by the type of item they sell on that floor. For example, one floor is records, another is comics, toys, and action figures, so it's pretty simple to find the right direction if you're looking for something specific. The staff is also very kind and helpful. During my most recent trip I was browsing the first floor and found one of my favorite books from my childhood! It was only $5 and I couldn't pass it up. You just never know what you'll find here, but I can guarantee if you look hard enough you'll find some gems!

This same reporter interviewed me in 2023 when I rented an office for my hypnosis business in the Murphy Building in Tarentum . The article made the paper. I recently was informed by this reporter that the interview we had was not accepted as it was more of an "advertisement than an article." It took him a month to inform me. The article was all about why I chose to try to do my hypnosis at the theater . It was not an advertisement. He's a good reporter and he asked the questions . It was a good interview. The theater manager who is permitting me to do these sessions was there answering questions. A photographer was there taking many photos . There was no reason to believe it would be rejected. Of course, I never saw the completed work of the reporter. I asked K.S. to tell me who made this decision . I asked him to explain how many other "articles " on other businesses were in the trib. These businesses are paid for their services . They were articles and not considered advertisements. Why were these articles published and mine rejected? I have not received an answer. I emailed the managing Editor and have not had a response . I'm not a paranoid person . I'm a retired psychiatric nurse and active hypnotist. In my curious mind, this rejection is about something else. It feels discriminatory. I'm very disappointed in the Trib editorial team who chose to reject what was probably a good article about this fascinating intervention for wellness.
