As an avid motorcyclist, and if you are too, you know that mounting/balancing a mortorcycle tire is a super quick process. So I thought I would hit up the local motorcycle shop just 20 minutes from the house. I walk into Pitt Cycles shortly after opening and asked to get a tire mounted and balanced. Mind you, the wheel is off the bike and there is no tire to be removed. Just mount/balance the new tire I have on my rim. At first I was asked when was a good time to come back and have this done. I was hoping to get squeezed in now, not have to come back later in the week. After a bit of fumbling with paperwork, the gentleman thought he could accomodate me. So he wrote up the order and said it would be $75. I was like "Excuse me? How much?". Tax was probably additional. Did I mention the wheel was off the bike and no tire needed removed? Needless to say, I said "Nevermind!" and went elsewhere and had it done for $25. I can honestly say I will never take my bike to them for ANY service. read more

two years ago I developed a disease called Charcot which caused me to wear a permanent brace on my right leg .I thought my riding days were over .I love my Indian vintage and was faced with selling it .Mike and Bill the two owners of Pitt Cycle convinced me I could keep it and they could convert it in to a trike .Mike and Bill spent a lot of time working with me to develop a trike that was appealing and suitable to my needs .Merrick was the mechanic that did the conversion for me .I am going to tell you he did an unbelievable job ,it was a Hugh process and my bike was returned to me in perfect shape .He took care to not damage any of the original half of the bike while doing this major conversion .I received pictures on a regular basis from Devin their service manager which showed how careful Merrick was and the attention he paid to detail .He truly is an excellent mechanic who cares about what he does .Bill and Mike are good people ,there were no hidden cost ,there were no added cost .It was a good and honest transaction.If I could rate them as a 10 star rating ,I certainly would . read more

Horrible experience with a simple oil change for the bike we bought there. Won't be returning or purchasing from them again.

I have been back several more times since my initial review, and in that time, things have continued to improve here in all departments, including sales and parts. There are now more accessories and clothing available for Royal Enfield customers, and Chris at the front desk greets me by name now when I walk in. The parts dept. has also gotten better, and Alexis and Paul have a good grasp on Royal Enfield parts, accessories, and apparel. Cheers!! read more

These guys have always been right on the spot when it comes to work on my KTM, try to find that anywhere anywhere else around here. Their prices are fair. The service is good. Anybody complaining as an unrealistic expectation of what you should be able to get from a dealership, that is as understaffed as every other one in the business. I could not recommend these guys more highly. read more

DO NOT go to Pitt Cycles in Warrendale,Pa for any service work. I took it in for 12k service and fork rebuild. My Triumph was running perfect when I dropped it off October 10. After weeks of excuses and no call backs I picked it up December 29. Bike was out of timing and leaking oil. They picked it up promising to fix it. Again weeks of no communication and excuses. They also admitted even though they are a Triumph dealer they don't have anyone Triumph certified working on bikes here. Finally they dropped it off February 1st. I test drove and it was running but seemed to vibrate at high RPM. I rode for an hour on Thursday and discovered the forks were bottoming out. I was done, after 4 months of being lied to repeatedly, gross incompetence, and being dodged by management, I took it to Mosites to fix it. I called Pitt and was told my money would not be returned because I wouldn't let them have it back a third time. read more

please do not take you motorcycle here for service. the service department has a crew of incompetent unexperienced mechanics. I bought my bike here and took it back for some performance upgrades. When I got the bike back it ran horrible. they refused to help until I called Indian Motorcycle and complained about the work. 15 minutes later I got a call from Pitt cycles saying they would fix. have it back again still is not running right I will take it somewhere that knows what they are doing. please do not have any work done here and I would deter anyone from purchasing anything here. read more

Honest Review GOOD- The manager and parts department really want you to have a good experience. When I talk to them they come from behind the desk and get on top of things. BAD- You have to go there because people don't answer phones. UGLY- They really struggle with their repair and maintenance staffing. The mechanics are great people, but they are overworked and understaffed. read more

This place is a joke. Called and made an appointment with Chris to test ride a KTM Duke 390. He guaranteed me that it would be ready by 10:15. When I showed up, after calling again to verify the appointment, the bike wasn't ready. He told me to wait an hour and then it should be good to go. The unfortunate part is I live in murrysville and made the trip all the way up here for nothing. I explained to him that we were going out of our way to make the trip up this way, and he told me not to worry everything would be set up and ready to go for when I got there. Don't make appointments and promises you can't keep, not a good way to attract or keep customers! read more
