I used to love coming to Dr. P's office and seeing the nurse practicioners and the doctor, but lately their staff and service have been lacking. The new receptionist is very rude and is rarely helpful. She always seems like she is doing you a favor by answering the phone.
We've had several billing mistakes with them as well. We never recieved a bill from them but were sent to their collections agent for nonpayment. They said their billing people were terrible, but did nothing to remedy the situation. We didn't even get an apology.
On my last visit, I waited over an hour only to get fifteen minutes with the nurse practicioner who prescribed me two medicines that should not be taken together. I had to play phone tag with the receptionist just to get the correct prescriptions. Again, I never got an apology for the mix-up and my bills are still messed up. I cannot wait to be done with their office. I would not recommend them at all. There are lots of better options in Valparaiso. read more
