She takes time with you, ask questions, listens, & makes a plan for your well-being. She keeps up with your medical chart through routine blood work & tests. She is thorough and makes sure she has checked every avenue to find what is best for your personal health. I always feel better when I leave just knowing I have a doctor looking out for me.

Well after the…read morefact of me thinking I was going to an urgent care, as they advertise, find out this doc is not in my network. Called up to ask about it. Was told it was not their fault, they deal with urgent care situations but they are not an urgent care. Then why is it on your billboard outside the office as "Urgent Care"??? If it says "urgent care" then you assume it is an urgent care facility (that is covered by insurance). Also, the office and rooms are absolutely filthy. Bugs crawling on the floor. Dust everywhere. Plus privacy violated. Not given a gown to put on top, the door is opened as I sit there naked from waist up, only to glance back and see another patient in another room with the door open. This other patient (a man) saw me sitting there on table naked from waist up. Irate about this place.

He is extremely friendly and really explains everything to you. The most important thing for me is that he never judged me. I always feel comfortable when I see him. I have had other doctors (too many to count) that treated me horribly, judged me or did not listen to me at all. Dr. Oetter actual cares and listens to my concerns. I will never go to another doctor as long as he practices.

He's a (somewhat) knowledgable doctor but has a massively inflated ego. The first time I went he said that he doesn't want to treat ANYONE that goes to another doctor (including if you're travelling and need a doctor for a few months in another state/country). On the 2nd visit I had with him he said there was a "breakdown in communication" between us because I didn't want him as my primary care doctor and had medical attention from another doctor since the last visit (I dont know why his staff allowed a 2nd apt to happen if he was so against it). At that point the appointment was a waste, so I left. Got a letter in the mail less than a week later saying that he'd never treat me again because there was a "breakdown in communication". Really unneeded, condescending, and holier than thou attitude. If you don't want a patient to come into your office, don't let your staff book them, that simple. If you're looking for a knowledgable doctor that is the only doctor you go to, this is your guy. If you're like the rest of the world and theres a chance you'll visit another doctor, don't waste your time here because he will refuse to treat you and you'll get a rude letter in the mail that you hurt his feelings for visiting other doctors too.
