I finally got in, we sat down &went through everything, I wasn't super comfortable, but I figured I would go ahead and get the epidural shot anyway because I was in excruciating pain & needed it. To get a little personal, I have anxiety when it comes to any medical procedures and I made the doctors aware of the situation so they suggested I get sedation. A week and a half later I finally get in to have my shot done. It was hotter than Hades in that office & was even hotter once you got back in the patient area. The bed they put me in was baking in the sun. It had to be nearly 80° and then they put a warm blanket on me. I sit down and my anxiety rampant. My blood pressure was high. My heart rate was high, and I had a Slightly elevated temperature, which are all symptoms of anxiety. They took my vitals every five minutes in a crowded room with constant beeping a blood pressure cuff going off every minute and then constantly telling me to calm down. As the timer went off every five minutes, I anxiety got worse. My Elevated temperature did go down to 99.4. And if you read the CDC says a fever is considered anything over 100.4. The doctor, then rudely comes over and tells me he cannot continue with the procedure because I must have some sort of infection. And then told me it was not possible to have an elevated temperature from anxiety. I've experienced this numerous times before I have been told by different doctors that it is completely possible to have an elevated temperature due to my anxiety, and I have read numerous studies from medical journals as well as information from the CDC that very clearly states heightened anxiety can cause an increase in temperature. When I explain this, he basically told me I was crazy. It wasn't possible. I have an infection. I have to go home. The minute I get home I take my temperature and it is a cool 98.7°. Just like I said no fever no infection it was caused by my anxiety. I called the office afterwards and ask them if I could reschedule my procedure but with a different doctor and she told me it was against policy and they wouldn't let me do so. After complaining she said she would talk to her supervisor and get back to me by the end of the day or at least the next morning at the latest. No call yet. Unprofessional, beyond ridiculous and I would say never come here and never see this doctor again I'm a little worried that he doesn't know that any of that is actually possible. Makes you wonder what else this doctor doesn't know. Well, it's now been a week and she hasn't called me back clearly they don't care about their patients. I'm going to make sure I file complaints wherever I possibly can't about this place.

Was in so much pain at the time that I couldn't even sit down without tears welling up. Standing at an always angle was my only relief. They saw this. They knew this. This visit occurred around spring time 2025 I went in, did the routine, signed a waiver to release my MRI to them, and got some blood work scheduled for a little later on. Left very hopeful and optimistic with how genuinely invested the doctor seemed to be in fixing me. Gave me a lot of info. I never heard back from Pinnacle. No follow up, no "hey we have your MRI results and this is what they show", no emails, no calls/voicemails, not even a letter. Nothing. Pinnacle ghosted me. The lack of follow up and being all around a caring and professional healthcare organization is not the reason for the single star rating however. The rating comes from the fact that nobody got back to me, yet I OWED THEM MONEY. I paid my copay, and thought that was it. Next thing I know, I have a collections agency calling me about a debt stemming from my visit here at pinnacle. Had absolutely no knowledge of it. And when I called, I got a woman with a nasty attitude basically telling me I'm an idiot because they always send out PAPER MAIL about money owed. So not only did I not get a letter at all, but in 2025, you can't CALL ME OR EMAIL ME WHEN YOU HAVE MY INFO?? This came at the perfect time too, because I was just recently laid off from work. So now my credit will take a hit because I NOW don't have the $300 I could've paid off months ago Nice place inside, but absolute trash. Would never recommend. The pain continued and after cortisone injections, physical therapy and dry needling sessions I'm still in pain. I sought a 2nd opinion and the Surgeon identified was the issue is. I'm scheduled for a follow up surgery to repair what should have been done initially. I was consistently made to feel that my pain was manufactured by the PA Alyssa (who needs to practice a little empathy) and Staff and come to find out there is a confirmed issue that needs surgery. I regret choosing this practice. On a positive note the front desk Staff was pleasant, and the Nurse Brenda who was the only one who showed compassion.

However, it would have been good to offer physical therapy as a way to possibly resolve my issues before just jumping to not one, but two surgeries, and then only to say that because of the surgeries my arthritis is now much much worse. I am authorized to schedule appointments for my father, and while trying to do so, she repeatedly asked me for insurance codes and terminology I wasn't familiar with. I explained that I had the insurance information and referral, and that most offices simply verify the details themselves. Instead of helping, she continued speaking in insurance jargon and placed me on hold multiple times. At one point, she told me she couldn't access the insurance information herself. Minutes later, she somehow had all of my father's insurance information available through the referral that had already been sent. The entire conversation was unnecessarily confusing and frustrating. She then accused me of being rude. I was not rude--I was direct because I was on a short break at work and simply trying to get an appointment scheduled. There is a difference. What happened next was the most concerning part. After providing my father's information, I was told they would not be scheduling or seeing him because of my alleged behavior toward the receptionist. I was shocked. This is a neurology office where patients often wait months for appointments and are dealing with serious medical issues. Caregivers already have enough on their plates without being treated this way. Before writing this review, I read other reviews and noticed multiple complaints about rude front desk staff. Based on my experience, those concerns appear to be valid. I cannot speak to the quality of the doctor because we were never given the opportunity to become patients. The physician may be excellent, but the front office experience was so unprofessional that my father was effectively denied access before ever being seen. Very disappointing.

I used to run 25 to 30 miles a week and did this for about 8 years. Unknowingly at the time, my lumbar spine and hips took a beating. I received a lumbar spinal fusion in 2001, and had complications (lumbosacral root disorder, hip spine syndrome and arthritis). Those complications led to my falling and sustaining 5 concussions (post concussion syndrome) in the last 2 years, and using a walker and a cane for mobility. Dr. Eric Ericson is my neurologist. I selected him after researching his credentials, which are outstanding. We also share the same alma mater (Go Cats!) so I felt comfortable immediately with him. What I like most about him is he listens and is supportive. The brain MRI results enabled him to create a plan tailored to my needs. With all of the falls, I've developed PTSD and painfully intense hip problems, too. I'm receiving hip injections, physical therapy, and massage and psychological counseling. Some days I want to throw in the towel, but my care team and family have been so supportive that there is no way I could ever let them down. I'm still climbing the mountain to recovery and know it will be strenuous at times, but I'm in good hands. I highly recommend Dr. Ericson and his staff because they not only know their stuff, but they really care. Yes, they care.

The glass doors at the reception desk were locked and several staff were conversing among themselves. All but one staff member walked away. The remaining staff member asked if she could help me. I stated I'd like to see a doctor. She replied that there were no doctors. I replied your hours show you are open until 2000hrs. She said, no, we're only open until 1900 hrs. I replied "It's 1800hrs, now." She stated that they only take appointments after a certain time. She asked if I'd like to make an appointment. Frustrated, I said no and left. As a retired firefighter and EMT, married to a nurse, we will be sure to tell the first responder community of my experience.
