This was very disappointing, which is sad because we always loved Pit Fire Pizza. It has not been good the last two times we have been, so I felt the need to write another review. We came for dine in recently and our pizza was not what we ordered and we needed to send it back, but they fixed it and we were there so no harm. The place was, as always super clean. This time we ordered delivery. Not one thing was right and if they had not refunded my money I would have had to drive it back and then I would be really mad. All of it went into the trash. I mean all of it. We ordered from another place. The service was just so bad. We made our order on line and were very clear. When it was delivered it was cold as it went to the wrong house. They gave the driver the wrong address. We opened it and were shocked. The pasta dish was to have extra cheese, instead it tasted like something out of a can. Look at the photo I attached and you will see what I mean. The pizza had more wrong with it then I care to list, my husband could not eat it, he had just had surgery and we were very very clear what we wanted. Note the photo for their poor work, I won't bother to list all the items, we paid for, but were not there. When I called I was told I was speaking to a manager and my money would be refunded. He forgot and did nothing. Days later I called and spoke to someone else who claimed to be the manager, said he had no idea what I was talking about but would deal with a refund when he got to it. He claimed to be "busing running a restaurant" and that he was not the full time manager there. I don't know that they have one. He was rude and obnoxious. But he did place a refund onto my card by the end of the day. Now, I would have allowed them to fix the order the first time and re-deliver, but I was told by the first manager that because they use Door Dash I would have to pay and then they would refund that. Ya, like I am going to trust that. No thanks. I don't know that we will be back, I doubt it. I will not be treated like I am a bother when they are the ones who ruined our dinner. read more

"I ordered butter and bread. There were two loaves of bread in the pictures. And whenever I order pizza, I always add bread as a side. I ordered 4 loaves, but instead of two, they only put one inside. I went and told the person in charge, and he asked me with a rude face why I didn't take a photo. I told him I had picked it up 5 minutes ago and that his employee had only put one. He didn't believe me. And he gave me 4 stale loaves of bread. I returned them to him. This place is located near where I work and I've picked up orders from here often, but never tried it myself. This past week I finally decided to try their Corn & Chorizo pizza and swapped out the chorizo for pepperoni (also I opted out of the jalapeños) and it was delicious! The roasted chicken and mushroom cavatappi pasta is my personal favorite here. The honey bear pizza was also really good with the honey. It was my first time having pizza with honey and I would definitely order again. I did wish they added a bit more sauce though. The little house salad was surprisingly good and worth getting. The brussels sprouts were okay and same with the sweet potato. You aren't missing much if you skip on those. The restaurant is very spacious and has some nice outdoor seating areas as well. They serve beer and wine and I could see this place being very busy on a nice warm day. Service was good, you order at the front and they will bring food to you. read more

This was my first time here. Plenty of parking. Indoor outdoor seating. A lot of long benches, which was great for the 18 of us who went to have lunch. You go up to the counter, order your food and beverages. You get a number and then they bring your food out to you. This was a fabulous option with 18 people. It's always so difficult to split one check. And this made it so easy for us. We all ordered several salads. I had the Caesar and we ordered a chicken pesto pizza. The salad was very good and the pizza was delicious. Some friends ordered the barbecue chicken and really liked it. Some other friends ordered the brussels sprout bacon and said it was too dry. Not enough sauce. They have some kind of mushroom pasta dish in a cream sauce that was divine. So nice that they offer beer and wine. A little less chicken than what you pay for, cause you do pay like $3 extra for chicken but still yummy. The pizza was yummy too, a bit pricey. Friendly workers, but you just order yourself which I never seem to like with such high prices. Cute atmosphere with lots of indoor and outdoor seating, good for groups, they have tvs and beer haha. I can't say enough about how great everything is I tried the Littles gem, Caesar salad. It was delicious! Perfect amount of dressing and they use breadcrumbs instead of croutons added a really nice touch. I got the Say Cheese pizza I added olives and jalapeños. I also had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Ordered take out and ended up waiting way longer than anyone should for a to-go order. When I finally get my food and check the receipt and they forgot to add my fucking pasta and I was not about to wait another 30 minutes for this incompetent establishment to give me a damn container of pasta. The last few times I've ordered from this location have been very disappointing. I've been a loyal customer to the Pitfire Venice/Culver City, their food is delicious and staff is great. A few weeks ago I ordered the Honey Bear (my fave) and they didn't even put honey on the pizza!!! I was SO looking forward to it so it was a huge letdown (it was also the first football game of the season!). Today my office ordered lunch for the staff and the Mushroom Cavatappi which we all love was extremely dry, sans the delicious mushroom sauce that totally makes the dish. Again with the disappointment... Honestly I don't think I will order from this location again, though it's only 5 minutes away from my office in Marina del Rey. Sad. read more

Yesterday I picked up my order from Pitfire Pizza. In addition to the delivery order, I also ordered a salad for myself. The staff member who was helping me was very rude. He didn't even listen when I tried to explain that I had two separate orders, didn't check carefully, and spoke in an irritated tone. I had to wait there for a long time, and during that time, he acted unpleasantly, as if I was bothering him. Such behavior completely ruins the impression of the restaurant. Later, I found out that the same employee gave me a one-star rating in the app for no reason. I didn't do anything wrong -- I was just waiting for my order and trying to explain that I had two. After I left the restaurant, I saw in my account that he had rated me with one star. That was very unpleasant and unfair. I'll try my best not to take any orders from this place again. read more

We hit this location regularly after our Saturday morning workouts with our whole family and it's always a hit. Delicious pizza, great salads, big open environment with plenty of seating for everyone. They have inventive new pizzas every time that are fun to try something new. Just their style I guess, my only complaint. The sides were phenomenal, star of the show. Cheesy Garlic knots were legit amazing, chewy texture and well seasoned with Parmesan/herbs. Went to Pitfire Pizza for the first time with my little league baseball team, and I have to say it was good. Food: We ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and the boneless Buffalo wings. I know what you're thinking. Why boneless? Well, they only sell boneless wings. However, the wings were crunchy, and the flavor was spot on. The pizza was so good and it was a perfect size pizza. It had 8 slices per pizza. They do have a mini pizza that has 4 small slices for younger guests. We also ordered 2 cokes, which you have the option of a bottle of coke or a soft fountain drink and the 4 dippers sauce combo to go with the wings. They offer spicy ranch, honey, regular ranch, and marinara sauce. The marinara sauce was regular tomatoe sauce and didn't have the marinara flavor or texture you would expect, and the honey was just honey with flakes, nothing special. The spicy ranch was the best flavor for sure. I would recommend adding bone-in wings to the menu. Not many people prefer boneless wings. The menu is great, and they offer pastas, salads, and pizzas, and they have vegan options. Service: The staff was so nice and patient, they bring your oder to you and are very accommodating to their guests. We had a very large group of about 25 people, and they were able to fit all of us close together and still had plenty of space in the restaurant. Great job!. Atmosphere: It's a cool place to go and hang out. It's very casual and the decor is mostly wood and cement. Their is a massive seating area inside, and they have a pebble ground seating area outside. The pebbles on the ground make it feel like a sandbox and are a little messy, but the kids loved it. I recommend you check your table. Our table was a little sticky, and we could tell it wasn't wiped down from the last guests. Price: The prices are fair, and there are no issues with the cost. You definitely get your money worth, and the quality is worth it. Pizzas are about $16 for a large. It's not too bad. Location: It's in Culver City off of Washington Blvd. It's about 20 minutes from my house, which is perfect. However, there are multiple locations that may be closer to you. read more
