Oh wow! Tried this place for the 1st time last night. Best damn pizza I have found since moving to Wisconsin 3 yrs ago. We tried the jalapeno popper pizza which was amazing. I can't wait to go back and start at the top of the menu and work my way down. The crust is as awesome as the toppings. Because of Covid 19, I didn't eat inside. But I plan to do that often when I get vaccinated. Until then I will be content to sit in my car and devour a hot and tasty pizza as often as I can.I would take it home to eat but who can wait. A must stop if you are in Hudson. A small brewery in an odd location but have really friendly staff with a brewer always there to answer all questions. They have all the popcorn you would like to eat as well. There is an Irish Pub next door that you can order from and they will deliver it to you. They have two tvs always on with local sports and are happy to change the channel for you as long as the Packers on hand... read more

This brewery was really cool to check out. They have great beers and for craft beers the price was right. The staff was very friendly and it was nice and gave a very homie feel. It was really nice that they had a board on each table listing all the beers with a detailed description of each. I was impressed with the variety of beers they had as well. I had the Scottish ale and it was excellent. My second was the pitchfork ale which was ok but I will definitely be back to try the other ones. read more

Small, off the beaten path, but new, busy, and nice. Owner gave us some free spicy cheese curds to go with our beer! If you are nearby, certainly worth stopping in. Might not be worth a special trip just to go there if you live in Minneapolis though. read more

10/29/2016 visit: High praise for multiple reasons. First of all, of course: the beer was very, very good. I did a five pour flight consisting of their brown ale, Czech pilsner, house pale ale, wet hop pale ale, and cherry stout. Every beer, relative and true to style, was above average. I'm very much a hop-head, but the pilsner might very well have been the shining star of the flight. Secondly, the staff (Mike) was very accommodating, friendly, and attentive; it was nice to hear of his plans of opening a brewery right down the road in River Falls. Thirdly, I was lucky enough to sit at the bar next to a regular visitor, also named Mike (a former local police chief), who was willing to engage in very good beer conversation. Cheers. read more

Island Boy and I discovered Pitchfork last summer while exploring some nearby waterfalls with our pup. We don't often venture across the border (we're from Minneapolis), but we will definitely be back to this gem when we do. They have a dog friendly taproom, complimentary popcorn, really friendly and knowledgeable staff, tasty beers and super freaking cheap grower fills! We paid $9 for 64 oz of Pale Ale! I don't know anywhere in Minnesota that offers them that cheap, which makes it more than worth the gas to get here! On top of that, they're conveniently located right off 94, so swing in the next time you're passing through and enjoy some good brew! Cheers! read more

Casual- good beer, hard lemonade and cider. Great pizza and pretzels. Can sit outside on the patio - shade or sun when we were there. Inside was at 50% capacity. Service was very friendly. Bit of an odd location, off 94 in a small strip mall next to an Irish bar. I believe you can get food from there as well. Once inside, it has the feel of a small neighborhood bar that just happens to serve their own beer instead of Miller. Service was great. I tried the Pumpkin Firkin and was not a fan but that's not a judgement on them, just too heavy for my likings. Went with the Straw German Pilsner which was much more my speed. Good stuff. read more

The thing about taprooms is that even as trendy as they are right now they're really only as good as their beer. Product is everything and Pitchfork nailed it. The Pitchfork Pale is their biggest seller and you quickly will see why once you taste it. They also have a variety of smaller small batch and seasonal selections that change frequently. You can taste how fresh everything is. There are awards in their future for sure. Worth the drive... even for a Northeaster. read more
