He told them to redo it. He picked it up today, day 8. It smells fresh but has more stains (about 6) than it did when we turned it in and the original stain looks like it was never touched. Husband did say staff was nice. He felt like they would redo it again. However I really don't want to keep washing out stains they are putting on my comforter. Eventually the comforter will wear out. Who knows how many "redos" will need to be done. I gave them a chance to complete a service. I gave them the chance to make it right. They failed both times. I'm done, will not be going back.

Their prices are fair and have my stuff ready before my pickup date! Two years ago, I took in a dress with old stains. Couldn't guarantee stain removal on my formal that look like they became a part of the dress, but the stains came out! ---The Problem---- I…read morehad bought this lovely Broyhill sectional at a furniture dealer in April. Well late last month, I noticed some of the seams starting to split. Being that it was a floor model, there was nothing Broyhill would do. Stressed out, I took to the internet searching for upholstery repair shops. Thing is I had to have someone make a house call since our sectional is really wide and we live on the third floor with narrow stairwells. Needless, to say no one in Hopkinsville would make a house call. ---Cue Macken's Upholstery---- I called Macken's hoping they would save my sectional. The lovely shop owner took about a hour out of his day to drive to Hopkinsville to service my sectional! Mind you he doesn't do house calls, the last one he did was 6 months ago. Watching him sew was so interesting, the man has been doing it for 50 years. You can't get any more skilled than that. I was so pleased with him coming out, I would have paid anything (ok, not anymore than the price of the sectional) for him to sew up those busted seams. It surprisingly wasn't much and the work was top notch! You can't even tell that it's been repaired. ---What I've learned------ I will never buy anything Broyhill again. I will also call Macken's when I need upholstery work done and recommend him to everyone!
