You order and pay at the counter, fill your own water jug, and grab your own cutlery before taking a seat. It's a straightforward system and works well if you're looking for a quick meal. We ordered the Pineapple Taco and the Enchilada. The food was nicely presented and tasted fresh, but the flavors were fairly mild and didn't leave much of an impression. It wasn't bad by any means, just not as flavorful as we had hoped. The biggest disappointment was the value. The portion sizes felt quite small for the price, especially considering the self service format. We left wishing there had been either a bit more food or a little more boldness in the dishes to justify the cost. I can see why it may appeal to those looking for lighter fare. For us, though, the food didn't quite match the price point and overall, based on this visit, it was an average experience.

My husband and I went here for lunch while we were traveling in Newfoundland. The outside of this place is so colorful, and inside is like a cute small cafe. We are vegetarians, so thought of trying out this place. I had ordered Enchiladas, and my partner had ordered Pineapple tacos. Food taste was average. Definitely have had better vegetarian food on this trip. They even customize it to vegan if needed.

For two, plan on paying over 50 dollars for breakfast! If paying that much, you would think there would be at least someone refilling your coffee mugs, but even that you have to get up and request a refill! The Grounds breakfast costs 24 dollars, but over easy eggs were not, the muffin roll was over done on the bottom, and the bacon was under cooked and off tasting! The quiche had a nice crust, but lacked flavor, basically no flavor! Their pastry looked fresh and delicious! It and their coffee were the highlight of the meal! I had the lemon bar and the dark coffee! The atmosphere was okay, nothing special! I can't recommend it to others! (Red flag: paid for meal with requested tip prompt before receiving it)

This spot is a lovely place that i'd be happy to bring any visitors although the service is a bit slow and menu is a bit lovely. The interior and exterior are beautiful though! Food isn't something I'd come here on my own for, but as I said, I'd recommend bring a friend if showing them around town. Decent 4/5 in my books :)

We looked at the menu on Yelp and the brunch menu looked very good. We arrived at this cozy restaurant (I think it was built in a house) and were greeted with a friendly server. We started with a very good cup of coffee. From the choices on the brunch menu I took the skillet: hash brown potatoes topped with eggs, cheese, mushrooms, onions and bacon with hollandaise sauce. Every bite was perfect. I even took the traditional toutons on the side. My boyfriend took the traditional breakfast and fell in love with the peameal bacon. The server always made sure that everything was ok and that our coffees and water were refilled. I recommend this place for brunch, but apparently it's even better for dinner!
