My friend had several cats as she lived in the country & was kind enough to take in all strays who came to her door. She was physically unable to take the cats into Dr Gory's for care; I was pleasantly surprised to see him make a house call to care for her cats. I read the review made by someone who said Dr Gory was very angry & treated her & her dog very poorly. That must have been a horrible experience, & I feel badly for that individual. But my experiences with him have always been positive & he has always shown compassion, respect, concern & professionalism to both me as well as my pets. He also charged much less than I've ever paid for any vet services. I will continue to take my cats to him & recommend him to others as long as he remains in practice. Thank you Dr Gory.

The staff always does a great job of handling him. Price concerns and alternatives are always answered and are understandable, and when I was dealing with Beans being overweight, I had a check-in free of charge because Beans reached his weight goal. With my other cat, Oracle, who has scarring on one of his eyes, they explained possible reasons for it and assured me that it isn't a cause for concern, rather than trying to sell me anything or offer costly procedures. I will mention that wait times can be long, which seems pretty standard for even human healthcare out here. Just seems to be an issue of demand and not the staff, as there always seems to be plenty of clients. Final Note: This is not an emergency vet. While staff will do what they can, if your pet is having an emergency, it's recommended to go to an EV, which is unfortunately in Springdale, AR.

It is located in the downtown Carthage, MO area along Route 66. It is a small specialty dog shop. I have a big dog and so I was hoping as the name implied, it had items for big dogs. However, that was not true sadly. They do have many toys and treats for dogs of all sizes. The owner is super nice and was very welcoming to my dog and I. I bought a few items for my dog, including dog beer! It was nice that there was a pet friendly dog shop in downtown where I could take my dog and treat him a bit. Store is super clean and organized also!

Since starting to take her to Joh Joh's about five years ago, she has never had any kind of negative reaction to walking in the door. She goes right to them and seems happy to be there.
