They checked, the order did not go through and I asked if I could order by phone which they happily did. We got an Italian salad, eggplant with spaghetti and lasagna. When I went to pick it up, the place smelled delicious walking in. You can see the kitchen and everything looked clean, my order was ready, I paid and was on my way quickly, The main bag I was handed was heavy. No worries about portion size! Everything came in metal circular containers which was great, no styrofoam! The plastic lids were a little flimsy, but I don't know what else you could use, you kind of need the extra domed space, I don't know that the flat paper lids would work but it might be worth a try. Part of the edge of my lid came apart and plastic fell into the eggplant, luckily I saw it while eating, because it kind of stood out n the light, so I picked it out. All portions were generous. The salad I expected mostly iceberg maybe some romaine, I was happily surprised with some mixed greens. The portion of salad dressing was tasty and generous as well. The lasagna didn't have a lot of meat but it was tasty. The eggplant was tasty as well, and had a very generous amount of spaghetti, way too much for me to eat as one meal, so I have another meal for tomorrow. In the future I would probably get the sub instead. The sauce for both dishes mostly tastes like tomatoes which is fine, but if you are looking for generous amounts of spice, this sauce is not it, think simple comfort food. Both dishes came with a good size piece of very tasty very garlicky garlic bread. Both dishes were also super hot in temperature, which was great, I dislike it when the food cools down too much on the way home. If you don't have a huge appetite two people could split the lasagna and salad and be fine, I want to try some of their other pasta dishes as well. The Curly Fries came out first -- NOT GOOD at all. It was a pile of half cooked, soft, chewy bits and pieces. I brought them back and they re-made them. The second one was better but still not crispy. I don't think their frying oil was hot enough so we just left that issue alone. Although I didn't get the Pesto Pizza, my second choice was very good. The husband really liked his hot sub melt. I was surprised that no one checked on us, given the issue with the fries (and being the ONLY dine-in customers). Oh well. Very disappointing experience at the Stevenson Ranch location…read more My wife placed an online order for pickup at 11:45 a.m. When she arrived at noon (15 min after her scheduled pickup) she was told the pizza would be ready in "15 minutes". Instead, she waited another 30 minutes without a single update, explanation, or apology. We understand restaurants get busy and delays happen. What bothered us was the complete lack of communication or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. When I called to speak with the manager and request a refund, I was told we would have to physically return the pizza (and admitted he would throw it away). I explained that our complaint wasn't about the food itself, but the excessive wait and poor service. Rather than discussing the situation or offering an apology, the "manager" refused to discuss it further and hung up on me abruptly. Needless to say that was very insulting behavior for a manager, assuming he was who he claimed to be. I understand businesses have refund policies, but I would expect management to demonstrate some basic courtesy and professionalism when addressing a legitimate customer complaint. A simple apology and honest communication could have made a significant difference. Unfortunately, neither the original experience nor management's response reflected that. As longtime customers at this location, we are extremely disappointed because the quality of their food is wonderful, but this experience is completely unacceptable. I hope they do not treat any of their other customers in such a disgraceful way!
