Even though you'll have a main server, anyone on the team is quick to assist if you need something. The restaurant is very clean and well lit. The only note is that parking is strictly valet, so plan for that. The food was fantastic across the board (just as we remembered it). We tried the croquetas de jamón (ham croquettes) and queso frito (fried cheese) to start, and both were fresh, crispy, and perfectly prepared! For our entrees, I went with the pollo empanada (breaded chicken) while my husband had the bistec empanada (breaded steak), we each got a side of arroz y habichuelas (white rice & red beans). I added maduros and garbanzos on the side, the garbanzos were easily some of the best I've had in Puerto Rico! What stood out to me as well was that the owner, René, he made a point to walk around and greet every single guest, thanking them for stopping by. That kind of personal touch says a lot for me.
