We typically come here every year on vacation and this year we so much different as in better due to one change. They have a pirate now that greets people and makes all the kids feel special with rings, pirate booty, and gems. His hospitality to the guests as a whole made the dining experience so much more bc our grandkids and other kids dining there engaged and not bored after being there for 30 mins giving me time to eat endless crabs legs lol. I can NOT express how bad the food was here. Nothing was hot, everything was cooked far beyond being done. It was done 15-30 minutes before being taken out of oven, off grill or whatever method it was cooked. Maybe this was yesterday's food re-heated? There are a lot of seafood buffets in Myrtle Beach but Pirate's Table is one of the best. Hot fresh snow crab legs highlight the bar but there are so many other choices that's it's hard not to overeat. The place is clean and the service is always on point. They keep the table cleared of shells and keep the drinks filled The crawfish were fresh and easy to peel. The shrimp were huge. Crab legs were very good size so there's little waste. They have a nice salad bar and dessert bar as well. Not cheap but you're not going to find seafood that's both cheap and fresh on The Strand. read more

I mean if you are looking for an all you can eat seafood buffet then this is the place for you to go. We were in town for Spring Break, a plane flew over the beach with the AYCE crab legs, the teens figured out what it meant and immediately wanted nothing but crab legs. It's a cute place with live mermaids when you walk in, sea shanties on the loudspeakers and pirate themed waitstaff. They are super friendly and don't make you feel rushed. Let's start by saying that I did not expect a quality seafood buffet in such a touristy town. Since they are on every corner in Myrtle Beach, I did my research to attempt to find the best one. We only visited the Pirates Table so can't exactly say, but I think we nailed it! The snow crab was awesome and every time I went back, they had it completely refilled. Half shell oysters, perfect. We arrived right at opening. The service was amazing. Our waitress was on top of refills and clearing the table of used plates. The bathrooms and bar were clean. The food was just about as good as every other seafood buffet at the price point. I didn't notice much of a difference compared to others I have been to. Nothing was amazing but I don't really expect that at a buffet. I enjoyed the crab legs and the rest of my party said they were good as well. They did not enjoy the rest of the buffet food as much. I liked the ambiance overall. The mermaid tank was an interesting touch and the roaming pirate was fun, if a bit over the top. I didn't love having to think about tipping everyone. This place never disappoints with their service, food, and ambiance. The one thing I do wish is if they could change up some of the buffet items every so often, but obviously keep the crab legs ! The servers are on top of their game and bring you drinks when you need a refill, and change the baskets out frequently. Right off the bat, there's ALOT going on haha. They are really true to the pirate theme. The mermaids are neat and the staff stated they will be your "pirate" for the evening--which is cool. The buffet is smaller than we imagined-as compared to The Giant Crab or Benjamins BUT the crab was cooked to absolute perfection. We didn't have to fight for any meat at all and it wasn't overdone whatsoever. The deserts were hit and miss--the chocolate covered strawberries were soggy and the chocolate was flimsy on the Outside, the chocolate cake was SUPER dry, the watermelon had gotten warm and grainy but the dirt pudding was good and my husband raved over the pecan pie. For the money, we expected much more of a selection but we will probably return with our daughter for the experience. read more

This place here is fantastic. The pirate interacts with the kiddos very well. It will be something the kids will remember. We ate at the Pirates Table on June 3rd 2025. On June 4th 2025 we went to Captain George's and Captain Benjamin's just to walk out. We went back to The Pirate's Table. We haven't found a buffet in Myrtle Beach that comes close to what the Pirate's Table has. They stay on top of stocking the buffet and the food is out of this world good. Jamie M was our waitress. The servers were prompt, friendly and helpful. The food on the other hand was awful. The 'crab' on the cold bar was imitation crab. Everything tasted like it had been frozen at one point. So we saw one of those plane flying with a banner! Too lazy to drive all the way to Captain George's, so we decided to try Pirate's Table. 100% better than Captain George's. The place is super clean, the buffet area is clean, clean, clean. Four people manning just the buffet - refilling and making sure everything is perfect. The server was on the spot with refills and taking dirty plates away. Shout out to the manager lady, she came by our table twice to check on us - she also helped out the buffet staff with refilling and cleaning. Food - the largest and tastiest oysters I have ever had. Just awesome, I posted a pic. I figure I ate at least three dozen. So perfect. Crab legs - perfectly steamed, not soggy. You know that snap you get when you crack a leg - just awesome! Prime Rib - overdone! I like mine rare - but I had a slice and the flavor was excellent and the rub was to die for. Chicken Marsala - give it a try, not your typical dish. Made with tender thigh meat in a cream based Marsala. Very good, just different. I enjoyed the fried shrimp and fried oysters, the breading was very flavorful, kind of spicy, reminds me on hand breaded home cooked fried food. Overall, super happy with our visit.
