With a nice RV Camping area and two Great places to dine you can't go wrong. The inside decor at the Black Pearl is Amazing and the food was quite the surprise the quality and the imagination behind it. This restaurant has so much potential! Super cute decor and awesome view! But don't expect much after that. It says wait to be seated but you might turn into one of the skeletons they have as dead pirates! No one to seat you. So once you do seat yourself now for a waitress. Again good luck! Order drinks! Lol again die of thirst! Menu is very nice. Salad bar adequate. Compliments to the cook. Meal presentation was great. Food was good! My meal was cold, ate it anyway. So now wait for a box! Again 30 minute wait. Got up and got it myself. Now the bill? Absolutely unbelievable! Waited and waited...... The failure here is obviously the management or lack thereof. We've been coming to this resort for a few years now and each year it gets worse and worse. Do not come in the summertime as they do not have enough power for you to run your RV properly. NOT AC FOR 2 days!!! Last year they had massive power issues but this year they told us they added more power to the park. Willow and behold they lied because we didn't have power for two days. There are four campers in my party. None of us had power for two nights. Thank God it was through the night time because I travel with two dogs. It's not worth risking 122° with a negligent RV park who does not provide you with enough power. Trisha the service manager/sales manager is the most rude person I've ever dealt with. I'm very disappointed in this RV park and the way they're running it. There are no signs posted at check-in that warn you of the surges at this park and the lack of power they can provide to each RV. If you have animals do not stay here. read more

Wow, just wow! Our first time here tonight and it was our 32nd Anniversary. We had such friendly service. Everything was served fast and hot/fresh!! We had the green beans and coconut shrimp and shrimp cocktail apps. Do the happy hour!! Great cocktails and for our main dish hubby ordered a pizza which was amazing and I had all you can eat fish, not sure why when I couldn't eat but two pieces. We were greeted by the awesome Manager, Brandy! She was amazing as she was so helpful for her staff and we saw the support she gave her team. Not only Brandy but all the staff was the same that I could see. Can't wait to return. Thank you for the dessert to help us celebrate. Thank you all!! read more

Argh matey, ye be warned! First impressions: As soon as you pull up you notice an amazing open bar area on the docks that seemed to be a lot of fun. There are also two spa size pools built into the dock that allows patrons 21+ to sit in the cool lake Havasu water will enjoying some refreshing drinks. However, I am not certain if the pools are in use anymore as they were closed on our visit. Therefore, given the heat and humidity when we visited we opted to sit inside the restaurant. The first thing I noticed was the great decorations and overall touristy feel of the restaurant, which I liked. However, as we are seated, the beautiful hi-top tables and benches were problematic. If you push them out to sit down, you cannot pull them in while seated, they were to heavy and cumbersome. I had to tuck my friend in to the table then I had to step up and climb over the arm of the bench. While beautiful and surprisingly comfortable, the benches seem to me a insanely stupid and potentially hazardous design. Actual thoughts: The menu is to big and all over the place, surf and turf to lasagna to burgers. I am not certain if this place was a steakhouse, seafood restaurant or Italian eatery. It was pricey too, I would expect to pay those prices in PHX, not Parker. Not a problem if the food will be amazing. But it wasn't, they were not busy in the dining room when we were seated and ordered. We placed our orders for drinks, appetizers, steak and chicken dishes. When the food came out, it was at that moment they decided to tell us they could not make one of our dishes. Seriously? We came in starving with no other diners in the dining room, only in the bar and they could not tell us sooner? My friend decided just to take another trip to the limited salad bar instead of ordering a different entree. My food was cold at delivery and the ribeye or friends split, $40.00 btw, was all gristle and couldn't easily be cut. The manager came by to give the excuses, which were ridiculous and made offers for minimal discounts that didn't even all happen. In the end for two meals and an appetizer we still spent over $80.00 and most the food was left on the table as inedible. Tight spots that are hard to maneuver in and out of. Lots of dirt. No local TV. We spent ten days there and it was too much.

Cons: Megan needs to be fired. Horrible, unfriendly attitude. Took our drink and food order down, brought the drinks out and never checked on us again. Never asked if we liked the drink she made us. A gentleman came out with our food and he said he would send Megan out to take our second drink order. She comes out with same drinks, without even asking us if we wanted different drinks or if we liked these. We in fact wanted to try something else. Never checked on us again or asked how our food was. We had to ask for the check. Horrendous service, when we walked inside there was not one person sitting anywhere and we were the only guests sitting outside. After is asking, Megan ended up saying business is slow and she is inside "studying" - what a way to lose customers She was rude when we asked if there was a shuttle to Roadrunner and she told us we can walk, it is one mile and will take you 10 minutes to walk. Who can walk a "mile" in 10 mins, you'd be a pretty good runner if you could jog it in 10 mins. So unhelpful. There was a bartender outside and he said the exact same thing regarding walking to Roadrunner and there are no shuttles. It is hot and we didn't want to make an 18 minute walk. Finally we asked another bartender and she went back to the first bartender and he finally says yes there is a shuttle. "He will charge you $20 or more for the 3 minute ride". We took his number and he charges us $10. Pros: Beautiful location and fantastic food. read more

My family and I have been staying here for at least 6 years and truly did look forward to spending our summers here until we started being harassed by Laurie. She is rude and lacks customer service skills. Many people at the park have claimed to have had similar issues. She tried to charge us $107 for leaving our boat at the dock when the usual fee is only $50. When confronted about the additional charge she became irate and started insulting us. She then told us we had to leave the resort. After spending 6 summers here and endless amounts of money we decided that due to her disrespect we would be packing up and going to another RV resort. We refuse to spend another dime here. Beware of Laurie and her lack of customer service skills. read more

Great location and that is it! Office staff is rude. We pulled into the rv park, checked in and drove to our spot. Then seen a boat parked in the wash, perfect, went to get our boat to park next to this boat. Some lady that works there came flying up in her car and yelled at us. "You can't park there" we tried to explain "we saw this boat parked there" she continued yelling at us. "He can park there because he can't park behind his coach" so I said we can't either where are we supposed to park? She replies in the lot out front. Ok no problem. My husband went into the office after the altercation to ask why one person can park in the wash but we could not and was very polite. The gal in the office had very rude responses. He asked about renting a slip because we can't park in front of our spot the water is too rough and the current is crazy. She said they don't rent out slips on holidays and if we park there we will be towed. However there were boats of "the regulars" in the slips all weekend. If you are not a regular meaning you don't park there seasonal then you are basically looked down upon on by the regulars. "Very Clicky" Fast forward a few days. I went into the office to reserve a spot for my son for next year. We already had a reservation. The gal told me my husband was rude when he came in and was not going to make any more reservations for us and they will probably cancel my current reservation. When I got home I called the manager Lori to discuss what the hell is going on with this craziness. She said when my husband came into the office he was irate. She said he scared the girls in the office and they videotaped it. Bullshit! If he was irate and scary why didn't they kick us out and call the police. I asked her to please send me the video. I got nothing so a couple weeks later I emailed her again. Please send me the video. Still nothing. And btw they cancelled my reservation for next year. Stay clear! read more

This review is strictly for boat rental and easily could have been a five star if the manager would refund my deposit. We usually rent from Wet and Wyld but they weren't answering the phone. We called around and this place offered the best rates in town. I totally expected a boat of low quality. I was very pleased to find the boat in excellent condition! It was very clean and well maintained. Check in and out was very easy. NOW FOR THE REASON FOR 3 STAR- check in girl was not very knowledgeable about the boat or boating but she was super nice. Deposit- the deposit is run as a separate credit against your card and not run as a hold. So what this means is the deposit is not released in a timely manner. I will now have to wait for time to run out on the business to submit receipt to get my money back. The vendor could easily contact their card provider and resolve this issue, However she was adamant that it was my banks fault and that there was nothing she could do. read more

Wow, I went to a boat race there put on by the resort or restaurant I'm not sure. We paid to watch the race, but when we got in we were met with opposition from Canadian Karens. Apparently the snow birds have water front spots all through the winter along the so called race course and the paying spectators for the race weren't allowed to watch the race except from the start line witch was completely crowded. I stand behind the racers who wasted a lot of there money to try to show us what they do best. And, I also stand behind ADBA and NJBA because I think this lame restaurant delivered empty promises to them to have it there. For the people that did race, thank you. I was very disappointed. Everything was much less than advertised. Extremely poor internet. The private "beach" was a few feet of sand. This was our first and last time visiting Parker AZ. The local restaurants we tried were awful including the restaurant and "beach" bar at Pirates Den. There is nothing to do in Parker. On a good note, the Colorado River was awesome, cold, but awesome!! We loved our time on the river!! Next time, we will go to Lake Havasu! It was wonderful!! read more

This place is my favorite spot to stay. The staff has always been so welcoming to our family. We are incompetent at parking our unit so staff and site neighbors come to the rescue before we even reach out for help! The Site Management let me young son fire bread out of the cannon off the boat, which he thought was the coolest thing! The grounds are clean, it's family oriented, and the bar, and restaurant are so good. The happy hour at the outdoor bar is very reasonable during happy hour for food and drinks. I would highly recommend this place and eating at the restaurants on site. You will not be disappointed at all. Trust me, read my other reviews. Absolutely the WORST food I've ever had in my life!!! I expected to enjoy our meal at this place but it was so bad that we Refused to pay for our dishes and paid our waitress and for our drinks and left. The manager even got an attitude at first When we expressed our dislike of the food served to us. I'm shocked there aren't more reviews for as busy as this place gets. We loved this park, had our 5th wheel right at the water and our very own private cabana. Sandy beach and slow current provided an excellent swimming spot for our dogs. The bar was a blast and restaurant was actually quite good. The regulars who keep their rig there 4-6 months at a time were very friendly and even had an outside bar for people to stop by, visit and have a drink! The staff were great to work with, so I guess if you treat them with respect then that goes both ways. For my 1st time camping in Parker, I was impressed and already booked our space for next year. After visiting the other RV parks in the area, this is defiantly the place to go. 50amp service was great to have, good water pressure and clean spaces that are not too cramped. If you don't was to spend as much, the county park next door seems pretty nice but the spaces are not on the water and all the beach spots are taken up. read more

So to be fair, We love the resort. They have the bar and restaurant super close and the store is also on sight. They have their own launch ramp so you do not have to go very far at all to launch. However, the staff is not something to write home about. We booked a spot for about 6 weeks or so. So first of all, My family has been coming to the river for years now. We know how to use a motorhome and we know most of everything there is to know about camping. Just last weekend, we showed up Friday night to find that our power had been shut OFF. The breaker had not been tripped because we did not have to reset it. I literally came over and turned the power back on. Inside the motorhome it had gotten to be 183 degrees at its highest. That is not an exaggeration. when I stepped into it, it was 108. It took about 4 hours to cool everything down to a comfortable temp. BUT, with no power to help cool the coach down, the fridge could not keep up. Everything inside the freezer, (we had about 15 steaks, bacon, sausage etc...) and the fridge, (milk, eggs, cheese) were completely spoiled. There was about an inch of blood in the freezer from the meat thawing. I threw everything in the office trash so I could have the staff look at it. I was told there was an emergency personnel in another camping spot but was unable to locate anyone so I patiently waited until the morning. In the morning, I had spoken to the manager named Jennifer. I explained the situation to her and she said she would contact the owner to see what he wanted to do about everything. Didn't hear back from her the rest of the day. I went back the very next morning and she basically told me that they could not do anything because they considered the box tripped. I explained that my "next door neighbor" saw me turn the power on and saw the box was not tripped. She then told me that no one would go around turning power off, which would make sense except mine was turned off. I asked her to have the owner call me and she said, "actually, he would just rather you leave today then." Perfect, so they are all for taking your money but when there is an issue, they throw you to the wolves. This happened twice before with this manager as well. Across from my spot was a trailer that they rented out. (Much like the other persons post.) For two weekends in a row, there were people renting that trailer from them. Within the two weeks, I saw the AC go out, (in 115 degree weather), I saw the toilets back up and create a hideous smell that drifted over to the campsites we were in, I saw an awning that would not extend retract correctly, etc... This manager has an "oh well" attitude and should not even be a manager. She did not even apologize ONCE during the whole scenarios. Another thing that is extremely irritating is the fact that they charge you to dock your boat overnight. If you leave your boat in the slips overnight, it is $30.00 PLUS TAX per night. How do you charge tax without receiving goods? The manager said that it was just there policy. All and all, I DID love the park until this happened. This will be my last weekend ever going there until new management takes over. read more

I would give negative stars if possible......Worst Prim Rib Ever!! Husband and I here for our anniversary and decided to go to dinner at Black Real Restaurant for their Prime Rib special on Saturday night. Worst $24.99 ever spent. The prime rib was so tuff and chewy I couldn't even eat it, it was hurting my jaw just trying to. Told the very nice server that it was awful. She said we should have told her she would have gotten another piece. It was so bad declined it as the rest would be the same. The manager took a big $10.00 off our bill for two uneaten plates. My husband chewed what he could but had to spit it out!! I would HIGHLY discourage anyone from ever ordering the Prime Rib here, our dogs wouldn't have eaten it. So every time we have been to this rv park we have a issue. But this last trip will be our last there. We showed up parked our trailer in the "trailer parking" area from our last visit where they had us park. Then as i checked us in my husband went and parked the rv in our site. And thats where this domino effect started: We booked waterfront for 2 nights then were moving to a difgrent space. (Reservations were made at least 3 mths ago) and was told that the watetfront spot was Cancelled (not by me) and that they didnt do it because its a process to cancel a site. But no one was going in that site till the day we were moving from it, so what happened,Well i sure didnt they claimed and i know i didn't as i had email confirmations and after 15 min in the office of he said she said they fixed it. Then i gets worse; we have our motorhome all set up the kids are playing. We then went to unload our trailer where their employee parked his truck 2 feet from the front of our trailer. Came over very aggressive and yelled in front of our kids that we cant park there and needed to move right now. We explained that we parked in that exact spot last time and there was no signs that said no parking. He proceeded to be aggressive and said "oh your going to move it, or else" the employee from the office then came over and said you cant park there, you need to move or we will charge you to move it. We said were sorry we didnt know we couldn't park here because we were just here and parked in that exact spot. Our motorhome was already set up so we cant use that to move it and sure weren't having the aggressive employee touch our stuff, and he was blocking us from even being able hook up. They said they will call the manager Lori to deal with this. So Lori came to our motorhome all fired up already. Didn't even try to fix the situation just said if u are mot going to move it (we we're already 100% set up at our site) im charging you, we tried explaining to her we have no way of moving it right now and aren't pating their spotting fee. Since we parked there not that long ago and there were no signs saying other wise she then proceeded to saying and having you towed immediately. We had called the sheriff to come out because of how heated and aggressive they were. As my husband is talking to the officer Lori is yelling and rambling on. Then he let her know that we have 24hours to move it. At that time oir friend showed up with his truck to help is and mive our trailer to the other trailer parking area. We were also then told we needed to leave the park right now were not to stay there, She was "kicking us out". Needless to say that the employees dont communicate with eachother and have horrible people skills, and Lori is not any better. As a park manager she could have handled the situation alot better. But after all that DRAMA We finished our weekend there. read more

My family and I have been coming to Parker, AZ for 15 years, we know what to expect and know what it's about, it's not the FourSeasons. When my wife and three kids (6, 10, 12) heard that the Pirates Bar had an RV park that rented RV's we were very excited to join relatives without having to stay in the garage of a 5th wheel. We paid over $1100 for a week's use of the RV. However we had problems every single day and did not receive what we paid for. We rented a 31' trailer; we received a 28' trailer (that's about a 30sf difference): We were told there was an entertainment center (TV I'd assume) no TV, just a radio. You can check the website as of this date. Arrive late Monday night: Tuesday morning we were handed the keys and never given a tour of the RV. Tuesday: We couldn't get the side awning down, staff put it down for us when we were away and didn't show us how to work it, Tuesday night: we had a summer monsoon come through we couldn't put it back up, it banged against the side the trailer all night and felt like it was going to rip off. We spent over an hour trying to get it down in the rain, we also drove to the office and called the "emergency phone numbers" and also drove around looking for the emergency trailer unit 110. NO ONE answered the emergency number or ever called us back (even the next day), couldn't find trailer 110 in the pouring down rain and lighting. Wednesday: The hot water went out, came to find out we were out of propane and the tanks needed to be replaced. Wednesday night: the sinks and shower backed-up, came to find out the tanks were full; in only one day mind you. Since we didn't' get a tour we didn't know how to empty the tanks. We found out the maintenance guy, was also was a waiter at Pirate B&G, so I went in there to find him, he told us what the problem was, and how to empty the black & grey water ...as he was serving wine to someone. He said he'd be right over. I waited 40 minutes in the smelly trailer and finally figured it out on my own, but the damage was done the trailer smelled all night and we had to borrow candles to try and mask the sewer smell. This also means the 40 gallon tanks were not clean when we arrived less than 24 hours before. Thursday: Hot air starting blowing out vents near the sink and refrigerator, mind you it's 110 outside so this is not good. We had 3 maintenance guys come over and it was finally fixed when they disconnected the battery from the trailer and turned off all the breakers, they said they had no idea what the problem was, but it's fixed and just recommend we not touch anything. Friday: The smell from the tanks smelled up the entire trailer and we had the maintenance cover over again and fill the tanks with chemical. Saturday, we blow a breaker buy using the microwave. No big deal right, because now I know this trailer inside and out, nope, the breakers in the trailer that say microwave and AC don't actually control the AC or Microwave, so now it's 110 outside again the AC is out and we once again have to get help. Saturday night: we're playing cornhole with the family and some neighbors. We have 6 river front spaces and we're asked to turn down the music at 10PM. I asked if there was a complaint, they said no it's just too loud. Mind you these are kids and grandparents playing bean bags to the likes of the Eagles and Van Morrison, and we're in Parker, AZ on a Summer Saturday. I know party animals right?!. ...oh and the Security guy, is the same guy who is the daytime maintenance guy who's been helping us and the waiter at the bar and grille. Sunday: we're getting ready to leave, trailer smells like sewage, we have towels covering up all the drains, and hot air is blowing again in the trailer aging, I'm not about to ask for help. The park itself is nice, but the RV rental was a terrible experience. When we checked out, we asked if we could have a few days knocked off for all the problems we've had while "on vacation." They said they will have to 1st inspect the trailer to make sure it's in proper working order... read more

I just called to inquire about winter availability and Vickie was so incredibly nice...left me with such a good feeling as she answered my numerous questions about booking for my elderly dad. Called back a second time and spoke with Laurie and put down a deposit to lock in my reservation. She provided me with a run down of the activities and things to do along with booking my reservation in a professional and efficient manner. I am thoroughly jazzed about this place... price is right and the place sounds perfect for my dad and step-mom. Love the cabana and location but that is about it. Do NOT store your rv here. I stored my rv here for two and a half years. The first year was great. The last year and a half have been horrible!!! When they "spot" your trailer tires have been popped and batteries have been left on. When concerns were brought to management they said the tire was rotten and denied leaving the batteries on. Also on three separate occasions my reservations were made in the wrong year. Staff is consistently rude. Unfortunately my family and I used to love coming here. Now, not so much. read more

Don't ever try to rent any watercraft from here. No organization, completely unrealiable. I rented a wave runner for Friday and Monday and the pirates den charged my credit card only to have them call and cancel for Friday. Then Laurie called back to say that now there would be a wave runner to rent for Monday and Tues. went all the way up to pirates den on Monday only to find out that there was no wave runner to rent, apparently both waverunners were not functioning. Even when they knew on Sun, no phone call to inform me the rental had been canceled again. No remorse was expressed, no discount for our inconvenience for another time. The excuse for not calling us to cancel was the need to call back future reservations first, so as not to miss out on an future rentals. It's all about the money. They knew about the broken wave runner on Sun, but couldn't call to cancel. Completly unacceptable, will never recommend this place for any thing. read more
