I grew up with horses and my experiences from childhood, actually kept me for years, from taking any of my grandchildren for lessons. I bought my nine-year-old granddaughter a riding helmet a year ago and kept it on a shelf as I researched riding instructors as well as stables. As we headed to my truck for the long drive home, my granddaughter's exact words were, which BTW she yelled..."THAT WAS AWESOME!" The lesson and our wonderful experience, was well worth the beautiful drive into and out of Cave Creek. Be sure to call "Kris," FIRST for any information. We can't wait to go back! Oh yeah! Here's the funny! In a whisper, my granddaughter asked me as soon as she met, "Kris," why she had jingly, razor blades on the back of her boots. As I laughed my head off, I replied, "Do you mean spurs?" read more
