This is a British pub, but it serves more than just British Pub grub. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is cool and engaging. This place has a private parking lot. The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating. You could sit at the bar or at a booth. I ordered the lobster mac-n-cheese. It was visually appealing, nice presentation, but it was lacking flavor. I expected the cheese to have that taste you get from a sharp cheddar or blend. It was okay. There was ample lobster meat blended into mac-n-cheese. Cash/Credit/Debit are accepted here. read more

When busy - very noisy: not conducive to gentle conversation, but I am sure younger people may love the atmosphere. I had Piper Pollo. My friends had wings and commented that the wings were rather small, compared to the description on the menu. The chicken was good but the topping/gravy was so salty, I had to scrape it off. The chocolate cake, though, was amazing. We had Lacey as server. She seemed to be in a hurry, as she asked us about payment while we were still on our entrees. We told her we wanted dessert and she brought the checks in a rush before serving the dessert. When bringing the dessert, she brought the POS to process payment! There was no asking if we wanted coffee or needed anything else! I work in customer service and being served in this way, is considered rude. Going back? I don't think so. The owner and bus boy seemed lovely - maybe we just struck bad luck with our server. Maybe the manager could teach her to deliver a slice of lemon either in a ramekin or on a side plate, but definitely not by hand and squashing it onto the side of a guest's glass... read more

Was looking forward for our Christmas Day meal other than Chinese food & was throughly disappointed. Only 12-15 patrons, restaurant not busy. Our party of 4 order different meals & same complaint from each. Vegetables hard, & cold; potatoe scoop cold in middle & gravy lukewarm so no hope of it adding any heat. All elements of bangers & mash were cold & no distinguishing taste. Steak & kidney pie barely warm as well as cold gravy. Turkey dinner dry with cold sides as well. Pot of tea lukewarm & barely enough to pour a cup; asked for refill of hot water & it was no hotter. Will not be returning. read more

Hmm I've been oscillating back and forth between 3 and 4 stars but I'm going with 4 and here's why: super friendly quick competent service, a "Beyond Beef" burger on the menu, tasty fries, and a long list of beers. We got a booth and strapped our grumpy, teething baby into the carrier on Marc's chest and he bounced her around and looked at the various sports TVs and had his beer and no one on the busy staff or in the bar blinked an eye. Nice family friendly vibe, everyone smiling at the cute but grumpy baby. Food came out quickly and we were able to strap the kiddo into the baby chair we'd brought and ply her with french fries and enjoy our meals and pay and leave quickly. The location is a little strip mall in one of those depressing areas near a highway where chain businesses line themselves up and strip customers away from the old downtown core. We didn't know that when we booked an airbnb near here, having never been to Belleville. But there are also loads of small residential homes within walking distance, and a clientele that reflects that: slightly older crowd, some families, lots of of folks who knew each other by name taking advantage of the daily specials. Not sure I'd rush back, but all in all, a nice experience on our way on down the highway. read more

We have always enjoyed the menu and wide range of food to choose from. At the restaurant and via Skip the dishes. Tonight was very disappointing; to have 3 people claim to be the Manager when we called about our order. Finally the 3rd we assume was the Manager say "we have done our part and not their issue" that our order sat unpicked up because the Skip the Dishes driver could not wait 30 minutes for the order. Piper Arms can change the delivery time if too busy to fulfill orders as per what is stated on the app. But they didn't and then did not even care that our order sat until another driver could get it. So it arrived cold...Skip the dishes provided a refund for the delivery fee and Driver's tip. Piper Arms did nothing and obviously didn't care about us as customers or the quality of the food sent out. I work in the customer care field and have never been so disappointed in the way this was handled. We will be sharing our experience with family and friends and via social media. We will not be placing any further orders or having dinner at Piper Arms in Belleville again. Having a restaurant dinner is a treat and getting pricey. And to find out they do not care about the quality of the food or their customers is the last straw. We will patronize businesses that care. SO DONE WITH PIPER ARMS! read more

Great service. Our waitress was very kind, our party was about 7 people and nobody could pick what we wanted but they were never rude. Amazing food and great portion sizes. We went on a Monday where the apps are half off and order about 10 for the table to share and the bill only came out to about $65. If you plan on ordering through SkipTheDishes, be prepared for Pipers to mess up your order and blame SkipTheDishes!!! First time they messed up, they forgot our wings and told us to get ahold of skip the dishes, which obviously went NO WHERE because they never had the wings to begin with(they aren't going to take a container out of one of the bags and retie it?!) Second time, they brought us samosas instead of wontons, that we paid $13 for!!! We got a platter and the wontons. The woman on the phone told us the platter will have 5 containers. Which we got!!! So where is the SIXTH container with the wontons?! Again, we were told to get ahold of SkipTheDishes. IM SORRY, BUT YOU PREPARE THE FOOD, THEY JUST DELIVER IT!! So here's all the crock of shit that Pipers gave us; - The samosas are wontons(we aren't stupid and since when do you serve wontons with French fries?!) - Skip the dishes didn't drop it off(we got two tied bags, there was no third) - They will refund us. When really, SkipTheDishes did, and we can only use it as a credit ON THEIR APP. So honestly, won't be ordering from them again. We spend at least $75 to eat there EVERY TIME. Just to not get what we ordered AND for the manager to be rude and tell my boyfriend to "shut the fuck up"... You guys screwed up and when it comes time to correcting your mistake, you put the blame on someone else and treat the customer like crap! We tried this pub in the summer and it was ok but we chalked the little things up to new staff and the place had just opened really. So we went back before this Xmas to give it another try. We had a reservation and the table was ready - nice. We waited 10 minutes before we even saw a server. It was busy so be patient I say. See the positive we had time to decide and ordered drinks, apps and entrees all at once. Then we waited another 20 minutes before our drinks even arrived. Our sever stopped by at one point and claimed she was 'nagging' the bar staff and drinks we be ready soon. We had ordered beer and one glass of wine - no mixed drinks or anything fancy. Our meal arrived in decent time really but the food was crap. Ribs dried out fries cold and chicken wings were the best part and they were barely satisfactory. I assume it was the manager, but he too recognized that things were an epic fail and took one app off our bill. Thank you - but rather than compensate fix the problems!! In short this place has poor service, barely mediocre food and lots of excuses. I've given it two goes and they consistently fall short. Not recommend it at all - not even for a beer and watch the game because a full period of hockey can pass and no beer!! Go elsewhere folks. read more

This is by far one of my favourite chains to visit in Belleville. Their butter chicken, chicken tikka malsa wrap, and club house are amazing!!! Their trio-dip starter could use improvement, especially the spinich cheese portion as it is cold. The only other thing that I would say could use improvement is communication between staff and management. As we called and were told that it would be a 5 minute wait and they took our names. We arrived and it turned into a 15+ minute wait. The excuse given? The manager stated he didn't know how busy the restaurant was when he told us it would be a 5 minute wait as the staff didn't tell him. This I found odd as the phone is at the front of the restaurant and you could easily see how busy the restaurant is. read more

Good service, terrible outcome!... 5 people. One ordered a fish dinner, and was told 1/2 hour latter they didn't have it????? I ordered Liver. Came very cold, potatoes etc! Everyone at my table was eating, while I waited for it to be warmed. BAD mistake, You can not put liver in the microwave to be NUKED???? Everyone knows you can't overcook liver, it goes tough and chewy. GROSS! They were having dishes, that can't be overcooked, just heated. Wings, pasta, etc! I love liver and onions. NEVER have I ever not been able to order that at a restaurant, and go home WITHOUT eating? SOO''..................... very disappointed! Husband had wings and a pitcher of beer. Myself, a glass of wine. $ 68.00. With My food taken off the bill. I had nothing to eat? NOT RETURNING................................. I am giving this a 1 star only cause the food is good. the lunch experience I had today with my colleagues was absolutely disgusting, and makes me question coming back due to the waitress Desiree. We came at 12 and had mentioned to the waitress that we were in a rush as we had a short lunch, and asked if they could rush if possible. With that she huffed and puffed acting like rushing it wasn't an option. Took our drink order, brought us our drinks and didn't come back till 12:25. (order took 18 mins to prepare) When she brought our food finally, it was 12:45 and we had to go as we had clients at 1 and HAD to go.we asked for to go containers and the bill as we had to go ASAP, she stormed off and talked loudly while walking away saying we took forever to order! we said back that she took forever to take our order, at this point she read the time on the order loudly, and stated it only took 18 mins. im sorry would've been fine, I have never once felt this angry and defensive with a waitress. I'm am appalled with how rude and confrontational this person is. I wasn't at all rude or pushy. She should not be treating customers like this. read more

Terrible manager/owner Raj My wife and I visited the piper arms in Belleville, On with friends tonight. Our server was a bit slow, but we were all catching so that was OK. We had waited about 70 minutes for the meals to finally show up, however the steaks and side dishes were cold. We sent them back for new fresh plates. Next plates showed up, the steaks were rushed and burnt. The steaks had no flavor over the char burnt taste. We were all very hungry and didn't want to chance ordering the steak again so we ordered club house sandwiches. When the bill arrived, there wasn't even a discount for the terrible food orders that were sent back we were getting charged full price. We were told that the manager was going to come to our table, but instead we had to ask for them to come. Raj was his name, he was not a pleasant person. I asked why there was no discount for the all the mistakes made on our food orders, he responded that he had to throw out some meals and felt no discount was warranted. I explained our first meals were cold and the second orders were all rushed and were burnt. I told him how we all had to wait for meals 3 times and what a inconvenience it was. After complaining to him for quite a while he said he was discounting our bill 50%. When the new bill comes, there is a discount of 7% off. We asked to see him again. When he came back out, he was asked why there was discrepancy in our bill, he said that he was going to discount 1 meal. I told him that was bad business, and reiterated to him no one goes to a restaurant to buy burnt cold food and then to have to pay full price for that food was not acceptable. I told him I would be leaving him a bad review of our night out, Raj shrugged and said he didn't care. Turns out Raj is a part owner. So true to my word, i am leaving a poor review for Raj and his business partners. Piper arms in Belleville definitely got this one wrong. The service was terrible. Waited 20 mins for my table with 5 empty ones right in front of me. Waited 40 mins for my apps and they were cold when brought out.
