Delicious, large, fresh bowls! Friendly staff, near the beach, great place to stop for dinner after sun and sand.

After all of these times I have eaten here the quality never changes. I love all of the sides and the quality of their actual poke is beyond no comparison. I am a much bigger salmon fan than tuna but their tuna here is off the charts good. Honestly, I can say the best in Wilmington. This is a true "sashimi" lovers place.

This place has really good poke!! I grew up in Hawaii, so I know it's the real deal. I ordered the "North Shore", which includes sesame soy sauce, garlic, sweet onions, and scallions. You order at the counter and it's ready in just a few minutes. The portion of the tuna was ample. The rice wasn't drenched in soy sauce, which is a good thing. Just the right amount. The sweet onions were flavorful. Could have used a little more in the bowl. I though it was on the pricey side, but it was sushi grade tuna. And it was filling. The restaurant is just one room with a couple of high top tables and bar seating along the walls. Cool atmosphere with a blue tiled wall in the kitchen, a blue floor that reminded me of the ocean, and hanging lanterns. There's also outside dining, but it was too hot for me to sit outside. I preferred the a/c. :) The gal that took my order was very friendly. I'll be back to try a different boke bowl.

Came in for lunch and the restaurant felt clean and bright with a ocean vibe. I liked that you had an option to get a poke bowl, burrito or plate. I got the bowl with salmon and the big kahuna style. My friend got the green machine with tuna. We both enjoyed our lunch but wished there was more sauce....and more poke but it was a decent portion. The rice could have used more sauce when I mixed it all together but the poke was really tasty. We also tried the spam musubi which was interesting and fun to try. They also had a lot of merchandise for sale. The staff were polite and refilled the water immediately after we finished it. We sat outside so the cold water was great.

This place is designed beautifully! I love the colors. The food was great, and they put a ton of tuna in the bowl but the other ingredients were a bit sparse. They have a beautiful outdoor area with a ton of seating.

10/10 The best poke in wilmington HANDS DOWN! The owner is genuine in his passion and takes his time and knowledge to every bowl. The atmosphere itself is laid back. I really appreciate that coming in about once a week since the place opened, the staff always remembers my allergy and has friendly conversation! We talk about the owners travels to Hawaii and beyond to learn about the culture and craft of the food pipeline provides- showing true craftsmanship and love in every FRESH FISH bite.

The service was great! I also enjoyed my food but did feel that $21 a person for a poke bowl and a side was a little expensive. I appreciate their sustainability efforts and enjoyed the decor.

I've had poke a lot of places but this is by far my favorite. Staff is super knowledgeable towards gluten allergies and almost their entire menu is naturally gluten free! The fish tastes fresh, the flavor combos are phenomenal, and i can't wait to go back!

I ordered the vegetable ramen with an egg and a side of vegetable dumplings. They offer them steamed or fried, and I decided on fried. They are probably better steamed, but they weren't bad, I actually ended up dumping them into my ramen. The ramen itself is topped with a heaping handful of spinach, I love that they went heavy on the vegetables. The broth was flavorful, there was a nice serving of tofu for protein, and the noodles had the perfect texture. 10/10 a nice restaurant for dinner.

Fun Bowl ? more like PEEPING bowl…read more Long story short because of idiocy ... and probably greed of money. Upon walking in, my boyfriend and I set our things down. I went to the bathroom. Too late, I see neither rolls in the huge toilet paper dispenser. I call my boyfriend, asking him to inform the workers and get some toilet paper so HE can hand it to me, because as mentioned, I was in the bathroom at that moment with no toilet paper. Unbeknownst to me at the time because im in the bathroom ... one employee, who is a woman, then proceeds to rush my boyfriend into ordering. She asks him what I want. He tells her he doesn't even know what I want, because he's waiting to get toilet paper for me. The door knob starts jiggling. I say "babe?" I hear an unintelligible male voice. Assuming it's my boyfriend ... because WHY would someone send a MAN to a woman occupied bathroom ... I waddle to the door and crack it. It's not my boyfriend. It's a man employee. I shut the door, scream "BABE". I hear man and woman employee voices talking to each other. I cannot understand. I then scream my boyfriend's name. He didn't know what was going on because he was so preoccupied with this woman employee trying to rush him to order. My boyfriend then knocks on the door and I make sure he tells before I open it this time. He says they sent him to check on me. As he's there comforting me, I'm STILL sitting in the bathroom with no toilet paper. That's when I yell again, this time at the employees, "WHERES MY F- TOILET PAPER". My boyfriend then gets handed not toilet paper ... napkins. After cleaning myself to the best of my ability with what they gave me ... thinking where is the toilet paper the man shouldve had had it went .... I storm out, my boyfriend behind me. All they could do was stand around and stare. That folks, is how My boyfriend and I spent our mid day on our three year anniversary weekend.

I asked a lot of questions and the lady spent a lot of time with me. I ended up choosing the Kalbi with Hawaiian Cole slaw and macaroni salad. The portion size was big enough for three meals. I liked everything except the smoothie. I don't know if it was the lilikoi or POG or both, but it had a strong artificial sweetener flavor for my taste. The Malasada was essentially a yeast doughnut with sugar sprinkled on top. The Macapuno waffle was soft, very sweet, and had a starchy like texture from the Ube. It was a little hard to eat since it would get crumbly when I tried to eat it with my fork. Served with dried toasted coconut flakes and lots of coconut whipped cream. Loco Moco was delicious. Gravy was already on the rice and not on the meat. Would be better if they gave extra gravy so I'll have to ask for that next time! They asked how I wanted my eggs cooked. I asked for medium, but it was cooked a little bit more than medium. Eggs were seasoned with nori komi furikake (Shirakiku brand/dried seaweed, black-and-white sesame seeds)- love! Ube hush puppies were the bomb. Crispy and sweet. Definitely worth a visit!

While our first two experiences left us wondering what all the fuss was about, this latest dinner proved that sometimes good things really do come to those who wait (and keep making reservations). Our party of four settled in with high hopes and rumbling stomachs. Three of us couldn't resist the siren call of the crab cakes, while our fourth companion went rogue with the shrimp and grits. The crab cakes delivered everything you want from this coastal classic--generously packed with sweet crab meat and impossibly light, paired with creamy mashed potatoes that provided the perfect canvas. The shrimp and grits, while delicious, couldn't quite dethrone our reigning champion (Cape Fear Seafood still holds that crown), but they put up an admirable fight. The real showstoppers, however, were the appetizers. My half-dozen Sneads Ferry oysters arrived like little ocean jewels--impeccably fresh, properly briny, with just enough natural sweetness to make you close your eyes and sigh. The mussels swam in a sauce so good I considered asking for a straw, and the calamari managed that rare feat of being both smoky and completely free of any "low tide" funk that plagues lesser versions. Our Sauvignon Blanc proved the ideal supporting actor, crisp and bright enough to complement without competing. The service struck that sweet spot between professional and personable--attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious. The atmosphere isn't quite my cup of tea, but word on the street is they're relocating, so here's hoping the new digs will match the elevated kitchen performance. Sometimes the third time really is the charm. Catch has finally caught up to its reputation.

The wood-fired pizzas are thin crust and are at least 11 inch size, as publicized. For normal-sized stomachs with a little hunger, one pizza will probably be enough, but if you're starving, probably should get two pizzas. They only provide pizzas on their menu. It would be nice if they offered sides, like garlic knots. The Wilson Fill-Ups is $14 and contains marina sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, small bacon bits, and Italian sausage. The River is a basic marinara sauce with mozzarella cheese and costs $10. Both were good and greasy. Each bite is a mouthful of warm stringy cheese. The outer crust was decent tasting-lightly sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. The only complaint I have is the bottom of the crust was not cooked consistently. As you can see in the picture, one part of the crust is blackened, whereas the other part of the pizza is the opposite. Also, the Wilson-Fill Ups crust was crispy (slightly), but the River was not crispy. This could be explained by the River being cooked first and waiting for a few minutes in the box until The Wilson-Fill Ups was done cooking.
