I recently hired Don Roberts with Instant Plumbing for a plumbing repair involving a compromised…read morehot water line behind my washing machine in the garage. The issue was stressful because the pipe had already been leaking and there was concern that it could turn into a much larger slab or rerouting job. Don handled the job professionally from start to finish. He completed the repair, cleaned everything up, and got the work done while I was out of town in Ohio for about a week. When I returned, the job was finished and the area was left in good condition. The total cost was $1,700, and I paid the remaining balance today. What I appreciated most was that Don followed through, completed the work as promised, and gave me peace of mind on a plumbing issue that could have become a real emergency. I would recommend Instant Plumbing and Don Roberts to anyone needing a reliable plumber in the San Diego/Vista area.

Is Dr. Piper REALLY as good as the other reviewers indicate? Very simply, YES!…read more When we discovered we needed a full re-pipe of our home I found Dr. Piper on Yelp and requested a quote through the app at 11:20pm at night. No joke, less than 5 seconds later my phone rings and it's Radi. After jumping out of bed and running down the hall to avoid waking up the wife and kids I gave him a few details about my home and we arranged a time to come over the next evening (again, after hours to fit my schedule). After explaining his services in detail and providing an estimate on the spot we chose to go with Dr. Piper because: 1) We wanted copper, and he uses only the thicker type-L copper, not the thin cheap type-M copper you get at the big box stores. 2) He is the only plumber we found that patches their own drywall holes and textures them (quite flawlessly I might add - even the popcorn ceiling) 3) The expansion tank that others didn't even mention or want to charge extra for was included in the price. 4) Everything is installed per current plumbing code and he gets all required city inspections along the way. Everything is done on the up & up. 5) Dr. Piper's estimate was not the lowest or highest, but was very competitive for the services he's providing. As soon as I saw the first section of pipe meticulously routed through the ceiling joists I knew I had made the right choice. And his crew did worked long days and got the job done in slightly less time than Radi estimated up front. After dealing with some hack plumbers in the past I can safely say I've now found my go to plumber for life.

Matt and Rod and their crew did an incredible job. They took great care in preparing and protecting our home before work began, and the project was completed within the promised timeline. Throughout the process, they kept us informed of progress and answered all of our questions promptly. I appreciated that they advised us beforehand they they would need to cut into the back of our sink cabinets to access the pipes behind on the wall. They also communicated they would need to take out a cabinet from the wall and they did a great job of putting it back, ensuring it was stable and sound. Again, great communication for entire service and project. What impressed us most was the quality of the drywall repair and finishing work after the repipe was completed. The patchwork is absolutely flawless--you cannot tell where any openings were made. The repairs blend perfectly with our existing walls and ceilings, with no visible patches or imperfections. Even the painters, contractors, and cleaning crew who came in after the repipe were impressed by the drywall work. The repairs were so well done that the patches are completely invisible and blend perfectly with the existing walls and ceilings. What really stood out was the team's flexibility and consideration for our family. The day before the project began, my daughter broke her leg, which made an already disruptive situation much more challenging. We all had to be at home during the project since she was on bed rest. The crew went above and beyond to accommodate us, working around bath times and meal times and ensuring that we always had access to at least one functioning bathroom with running water. Their thoughtfulness and willingness to adjust their schedule made a difficult time much easier for our family. The workmanship, attention to detail, reasonable price and customer service were outstanding. We highly recommend this company to anyone needing repipe services.

So, I called the leak detection guys - they did a pretty good job in detecting the lead and now I know I have to do a re-pipe. So, I called repipe folks. I had about 7 repipe folks came and give me the quote. Stefan of Repipe Home Hero was the first person to visit and gave a no-nonsense clean quote and it was the lowest of the lot. The best part was he mentioned before hand that his quote will be the lowest. Stefan started the work on the planned day. Done with the repiping in 2 days - on time and very efficient. Started the water on 3rd day to check leaks and requested for inspection. Inspection done on 3rd day 10am (as told) and then started to work on the drywalls. In next 2 days, the whole drywall repairs and painting (matching the texture) were completed with perfect cleaning. The whole work fully completed in 5 days. I am very late to write this review after ~1.5 yrs, but I am still fan of what Stefan and his co-worker did back then. It was pure professionalism, no-nonsense no-haggle no-ripping-off quote, always on-time, respect of the property and privacy, no wastage of time, absolutely clean work, thorough checking after the work done, perfect patching of the dry wall and complete matching of the texture. Stefan delivered 5 star quality in all aspect of this work. Highly recommended. Thank you so much Stefan and team for the work you did.
