Throughout the evening, Mike was bouncing around all over the place, taking great shots without posing our guests, exactly what we wanted. He captured some of our most intimate moments as well, such as getting dressed, pre-ceremony toasts, etc.. At one point, my Wife and I were up on stage about to cut the cake and we realized that we had never gone over what to do here. We only knew what to do from movies we had seen. We didnt know if we were supposed to cut, then toast, both cut, and eat right away, etc... Mike was right there and he was able to help us out and everything was cool. I said, "I need to find a photographer in the Hudson valley or Catskills for a family photo shoot. Does anyone know anyone?" No one knew anybody. So, then I turned to Yelp, cause what else do you do? I reached out to 5 photographers...and from the first email, Denise stood out. She was friendly, to the point, and had a beautiful portfolio to share. And, even though the youngest had a few minute long meltdown, Denise was not phased...and ended up getting some of the best photos during and after the meltdown. The photos themselves are gorgeous, and there are quite a few we are looking forward to framing.
