They got me the type of room I wanted with no problem. The rooms were clean and nice. They had a home style breakfast in the morning,  cooked by a staff person. It has the  good stuff like waffles, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, bagels, toast and fruit.   I have to say I was very pleased that the attention the staff made to making sure breakfast food was hot plentiful and available. it was like a restaurant. The room's itself had all the space I needed and  a Mini refrigerator and coffee maker which I use. Everything was working just fine and very clean  I was impressed with the staff and their willingness to try to help me in any way that it could the hotel was great and made for relaxing stay. If you're using Google maps it can be a little hard to notice just look up for the sign. If you're low on gas you might want to top off before leaving town.

A few weeks ago, my girlfriend and I tagged a long with my family and stayed at Three Bears for the week. The staff is fantastic, accommodating, and very friendly! My girlfriend and I stayed in an efficiency (#10 I believe) that backed up right to the Copper lift. The efficiency was very cozy and a great place to kick off the boots after a long day of snowboarding. One of the nights we were there, Three Bears had Smores Night and it was AMAZING. I will always stay at Three Bears anytime I am in Red River.

When the concert was unexpectedly cancelled approximately a month before my reservation, I contacted the lodge, explained the circumstances, and asked whether it would consider making an exception to its nonrefundable policy. (see screen shot) The lodge was entitled to decline my request, and my review is not based on that decision. What concerned me was the manner in which the decision was communicated. After stating that the lodge had a strict noncancellation policy, its representative suggested that I contact the artist for help since he had cancelled and "ruined" my vacation. (see screen shot) The comment was unnecessary, sarcastic, and unprofessional. The artist had not ruined my vacation, nor had I suggested that he had. I was simply asking a hospitality business whether it would consider an exception under unusual circumstances and with ample notice to potentially rebook the room. I subsequently wrote to the owner, Steve Heglund, about the response and received no reply. Because my original request went to a general mailbox, I do not know whether he wrote the comment himself. His lack of response, however, left me with no reason to believe he considered it a problem. How people treat those whom they view as unimportant or insignificant is telling about their character, in my view. Businesses are free to enforce their policies. Customers are equally entitled to expect that those policies will be communicated courteously and without sarcasm. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

Rachel and Kaitlyn were very accommodating and genuinely kind and made our stay very peaceful. The views were amazing. The wifi was very good. Amenities are excellent. They said there was WIFI, but there was only 1 network that could be picked up in the room and it wasn't one of the 2 networks that they provided a password for. There is room to park a trailer, which is nice given all of the off-roading in Red River. The biggest problem is with the water temperature control. It swings from scalding hot to frigid repeatedly with not much time anywhere in between. I assume several units are tied together, but the shower was unbearable. All in all, they charge an appropriate rate for the amenities and the area.

In all the years we've been coming, they have never updated anything. It's grimey and dirty. The couch cushions and carpet need to be replaced BADLY as well as the rest of the cabin needs to be updated and refreshed with new bedding and curtains. Again, location is great. Heard the people above me have a domestic altercation and then heard them having "happy time" at 5am.. I thought their bed was going to fall through the ceiling.. The fridge and sink were helpful amenities to have. The fireplace was a great feature also. The location was easy to get to and convenient when walking around town. All in all, I don't think I'll be going back to this place.
