Horrible customer service Called to order food. I'm told that the restaurant will not take orders by phone and that I had a choice--get the app and order or drive to restaurant and order and wait. I replied I wanted to order by phone and not the app. Told I could not. Asked to speak to mgr. I was told by elfie that he was the manager and he refused to take order over phone. Wasted time and got the app. Drove to restaurant and was told by bartender that my food was ready and coming up. Turns out, order was wrong. Waited 20 min. No discount. No one offered me anything to drink while I had to wait 20 min at bar. The restaurant was also less than 1/2 full so no excuse for not taking correct order over phone and no excuse for poor customer service. read more

As a regular in Piola , I was very disappointed they removed procecco (ladies wine night hosted on Thursday nights) The only options were white and red wine. The pizzas are the best in town that's a fact! My husband ordered spaghetti with white sauce and it came with breaded chicken that looked like a frozen bag.... My daughter and I ordered ravioli stuffed with meat and this was good! however to have been 1 starter, 2 plates of food and 3 waters it was too much money $ 60 something with the tip. Came on a Thursday night when ladies get unlimited wine. The place is packed. Service is a little slow but that's understandable. Went to the bar for some wine while we waited for our table. As soon as we got our drinks our table was ready. I checked in on Yelp and got a free Margahrita pizza! So cool! Hubby got the steak salad. It was very good. The pizza was excellent also. I'm partial to thin crust pizza so it was what I wanted. Maybe more basil on top would have made it perfect. They also had a guitar player inside which was very nice. Great place for lunch. They have great lunch specials. Service was fast and effortless. While waiting for our meals we had delicious bread which you can have with some vinaigrette and olive oil. We have been going to Piolas since 2007. This place never disappoints. I've been to many different ones, and this is one of the best (maybe because is newer?) The environment and service are great to spend some time there. Their Pizza is the best you can ever have. Their pasta is great, too, but man, that pizza is one to die for. Too bad i can only eat half or 2/3 of one. Before i would eat mine and my wife left overs!!! Talking about left overs, next day this pizza taste even better if you heat it up in the oven!!! Okay, now to their bar, while they have a small selection of cocktails in the menu, be assured they will be the great, too. Their Caipirinhas are the best ever. I have tried them in many places, made them at home, but Piola's always comes on top, no matter the location. They use fresh natural juices for the drink. Right when you order them. I mean, can you say that about any other restaurant or bar? They also have many other rum, whiskey/bourbon selection. I also order lemonades for the kids. It is really good. It is not just squeezed lemons... they put some whole lemons in the blender for few seconds! It comes out really delicious! Their management seems to be on top of things there. Piola provides good food at a fair price. I am definitely a fan of their fusion style Italian dishes, it makes a great place for a casual dinner or night out with family or friends. Parking at this location is easy, the plaza is big and has enough space for everybody. During movie nights (cinema nearby) it can get a little crowded, but not too difficult to navigate. The staff at Piola does a good job, don't expect above and beyond, but its not a bad service nevertheless. The restaurant is clean, properly distributed, and has bathroom facilities in decent shape. The food is great, not healthy but very tasty. I personally recommend the lasagna, which has a touch of bechamel sauce making it creamier and richer to taste. I ordered the oasta legnano with penne pasta and breaded chicken and the pasta came with basically no sauce and grilled chicken. Manager is very accommodating and staff is great. Burrata cheese pizza is original. Added arugula on top. Gnocchi is the best. Lasagna was good. Just a little too heavy on the nutmeg. I picked up their Lollo salad and San Daniele pizza to go and I was really happy with both dishes. The salad was an arugula salad with shavings of grana Padano cheese and their house Italian dressing. The slight bitterness of the arugula paired perfectly with the saltiness of the cheese and Italian dressing had a slight vinegary taste. The were so many flavors were going on in my mouth! The pizza was a nice thin, crispy crust topped with a nice amount of melted, gooey mozzarella cheese and prosciutto crudo. Prosciutto crudo for those that don't know is a an Italian dry cured ham that is sliced very thin and served uncooked. The prosciutto was absolutely delicious, this is definitely one of the best pizzas I've had in awhile. The pizzas are a nice size for one person but with a salad you can definitely feed two people. They have a nice selection of pizzas, looking forward to going back and trying one of the others. read more

Came in on a Friday around 1:00pm and it was pretty dead which is fine with me considering I was on a one hour lunch break. The waiter was quick and our order was placed within minutes. Decided to get the tomato, shaved Parmesan and arugula pizza. However, we added the spicy Sicilian pepperoni and it was a nice touch. Warning: it's pretty spicy (and I like spicy). We got the small size and it was perfect. The slices are larger than average. The pizza is made with a light, airy, crisp crust. It was not greasy or oily at all, which is great! The toppings were fresh and delicious! The arugula was a perfect touch! I was not disappointed at all. I will definitely be back here and yes they were quick enough for a one hour lunch service.
