Piola was so incredibly yummy. We visited there while on vacation in Miami Beach for lunch. Lenka was our server and she was so nice! I appreciated her helping me with my pizza selection - I ended up going with the new Capricciosa pizza, their premium pizza that included artichokes, sautéed mushroom, Italian ham "Parma Cotto", mozzarella and their famous homemade fresh daily tomato sauce. The portions are huge but was so hungry from our travel to Miami Beach that I ate my whole pizza! Lenka did a great job serving us too. She made sure we had all the pizza toppings for our table, as well as refills on our beverages. She was just so phenomenal at her job and was so happy, nice and kind. Nothing was too much for her to handle, all with an amazing attitude. Lastly, we came a little after lunch - around 2:30pm on a Sunday and it was really quiet. Not many people were dining so we got our food really quickly which was awesome! The ambiance was nice too -- wasn't super fancy or anything but was a casual nice setting. We can't wait to visit here again the next time we visit Miami Beach.

This place is a cute little Italian restaurant. The wait staff is very sweet and the food was really delish! I got one of the specials which was pasta in a cream sauce with seafood and mushrooms. It was a special so not something regularly on the menu but it was amazing. My partner got the Penne Cividale and it was amazing too. We also started with the garlic knots that really hit the spot. They don't have a full bar but a bunch of wines and some basic cocktails like mojito and a simple margarita. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is on their terrace so you're not directly on the street.

I came here about a few months ago and the service was amazing and the owner was super sweet. I had the 4 cheese gnocchi legnano and it was okay. I wouldn't get it again. My partner loved the pizza. The coffee was great. We are back again and I got the bolognese and my partner got the penne pasta. Both was fantastic, I would definitely recommend this place.

Nice Italian place! We were staying in Miami Beach during art Basel and looking for a place to eat since most places we couldn't get reservations with it being art Basel that day. We were walking down and saw this cute little restaurant which was tucked on the street and had nice outdoor seating. Hostesses were very friendly and so was the waitress. We had a great time here. The pizzas we ordered were both good and so was the garlic knots. The wine we selected was also smooth and it was the bottle recommended by our waitress. Overall so glad we found this spot when we couldn't figure out where to eat with all this Basel craziness!

I ordered a supreme pizza for pickup and was genuinely looking forward to trying it, even knowing it was on the pricier side. Unfortunately, when I opened the box, the pizza looked undercooked and smaller than expected. My fingers ended up covered in flour while eating, the center of the pizza was stuck to the box making it nearly impossible to separate the slices, and most of it felt like crust rather than toppings. After the disappointing meal, I checked the bill and noticed a pricing difference. The paper receipt on the box showed $22.89, and with the $2.10 tip I left, it totaled $24.99. However, the electronic receipt listed a total of $26.89, including a $1.99 service fee that wasn't clearly reflected on the paper receipt. I'm not trying to bash the restaurant--I know it's a tough business--but I did want to share my experience so others are aware. For nearly $25 without tip, it ended up being about four slices of pizza. Hopefully, the undercooked pie was just a one-time issue.

The outdoor seating was great and had a nice vibe. We enjoyed sitting there. I chose this restaurant because there were so many positive reviews of the pizza. There were many interesting ones to choose from, however, we were disappointed with the taste and quality. The sauce was very bland and didn't seam to have any of the normal seasonings. The crust did not have a good flavor and was undercooked. The toppings seemed to be of good quality. The server never checked after the food arrived but she was taking care of a lot of tables.

We ate here twice in one day! Not only is it conveniently located in the lobby of the hotel in which we are staying, but it also appears to be very popular. The place stayed busy with individuals and groups coming and going throughout the dining room and picking up to-go orders. The atmosphere was very lively and rather loud during our evening visit, but that was mostly due to the staff of giggly young ladies. When we came at lunch,I noticed the colorful lamps hanging over the tables that were up against the far wall and in the evening, they put out cute, little touch lamps for moody lighting. We shared a pepperoni pie (9/10- very good for the kind of thin-crust pie that they serve) for lunch and at dinner we shared a Supreme pie without sausage (6/10) as well as a huge Toscanini Salad on a bed of arugula (8.5/10). The Supreme pie was very heavy on the red onions and light on pepperoni. You got about one pepperoni per slice, so 4 total for the entire pie. We probably should've kept the sausage on. They offer parmesan, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper, oregano, balsamic vinegar and oil to you when bringing your food out to the table. During dinner, at one point, I think we had ALL of the offerings on our table. Not because the food needed it, but because it was fun! The condiments added to our individual experiences by allowing us to customize the flavor profiles to our own preferences. All of the staff was very warm, welcoming and attentive. The thin-crust pizza was light and delicious. They serve beer, wine and mimosas. The bellini mimosa that we had with dinner was yummy and refreshing.

Horrible. I ordered through Uber Eats and I paid $20 for each pasta that I ordered. The pasta I received was tasteless and had NO sauce and NO taste. Never in my whole entire life has a restaurant sent me such horrible food for item price of $20. The quality of these pastas is equivalent to what they would feed you in a prison. I have been going to Piola since I was a kid and I have never seen their quality be this bad. Maybe just this locatiok

I was staying in the hotel attached to this restaurant during a recent stay in Miami for a work conference so it was very convenient. We had no trouble getting a table for lunch one day and the service was pretty quick. The portions were huge! We honestly should have split a pizza but we wanted two different things. The food was good and we had leftovers for a few days. Highly recommend checking them out!

We loved this restaurant in Miami Beach. Easy walk from our hotel and the pizza was excellent! We tried the burrata pizza, meat pizza and the arugula salad. The pizzas are considered individual size, but they are at least 12" across and shareable. The pistachio ice cream covered with chocolate and additional pistachios was an amazing dessert to finish the meal. Highly recommend this restaurant! read more

Staying at the hotel opposite and just really fancied a pizza... OMG! Quite possibly one of the best pizza's I've had, certainly on a par with some eaten in Venice, Italy. Pricing realistic, service and staff impeccable and food absolutely knock out!! Wish I was staying in Miami longer as I'd be back to work through the menu!! read more

Went to pick up two pizzas. Walked away but the bottom box seemed cold and seemed light. Stopped half way home and one of the boxes was empty. I went back and they laughed about it. Pretty unprofessional and embarrassing on their part but they didn't seem to think so. Just goes to show you, low class staff, low class food. read more

Omg. The food here is amazing. We had the pizza with artichokes. It was cooked to perfection and came out piping hot. It was large enough for 2 to share. We had tiramisu as well and it was just as good. The service was on point too. We definitely recommend Piola. The next time we are in Miami, we will eat here again. read more

So my friends and I came here since the reviews were so good. Needless to say we were not pleased. the pizza was "ok" the sauce could've had more seasoning to it. I was not impressed without waitress. She forgot to give us napkins and I had to ask for a water 3 separate times. To top it all off the Parmigiano cheese in the jar had spots of mold in the bottom as if they just kept topping it off. When I addressed this issue with the waitress she just took the jar and gave us a new one. Disregarding that we already put the cheese on out pizzas. In the middle of the meal she asked how everything was and we answered eh. Once we said that became rude and just did the bare minimum until we left. Very unhappy with this restaurant. read more

I ordered to the Foutainbleu and it never arrived to me. I wish the driver could have tried to contact me. I kept checking all the lobbies to see if it got delivered. I don't recommend trying to deliver to this hotel. (Hotel delivery specific issues). Food looked good though online. read more

After 2 days in Miami we were dissatisfied with the customer service we encountered, but at Piola, everyone was so great and attentive. Maylen and the team really made it a special place to have a good family time. I had my 9 month old and they were so friendly with him and he couldn't stop smiling. I loved my lasagna and my family enjoyed the pizza. Great place to eat! read more

I don't usually post reviews or post on my experience when I go out but in this case I did have to do it. The service or at least my experience with my server was ok I have no complaints or regrets about the service my issue is with the food and drinks I ordered. The server recommended me the Lychee mimosa When the drink arrives at the table I'll take a sip out of it and I could barely feel any lychee flavor in the mimosa. After a while I decide to order food to which I ordered the gnocchi Legnano (I apologize if I misspelled it incorrectly) with chicken. When the entrée is brought out to me You could barely distinguish the gnocchi from the chicken it was all just a single color whiteness and not to mention the actual protein itself it tasted like Costco brand canned chicken. As I am eating the pasta and drinking the Mimosa when I reach more than halfway of the glass I realized as I'm tasting the lychee syrup wasn't even properly mixed or shake You could actually see the separation from the Prosecco to the syrup. For dessert I order the tiramisu and a double espresso And I do have to recognize that the dessert was pretty good read more

Ok, I'm very critical on pizza, not because I'm an expert but because I value the right balance between light dough, the way it's cooked, sauce's quality and finally toppings. I think Paola's pizza is a good compromise between real Italian pizza (not specifically Neapolitan or northern Italy thin style) and the America approach to the dish. I've enjoyed it. I'm not sure if it's a wooden fire oven but it was very good. I would add a few flavors like tuna+onions, and cut out the Honolulu..but that's me personally. Tiramisù was pretty good too. Overall it's a 7.5/10 for me. Will definitely come back soon. read more

If you are visiting Miami and want a good Italian/pizza spot, look no further!!! I am a full blooded Italian from Boston where my weekends in the summer are spent in the north end...this place honestly belongs there, it is that good! Amazing pizza, phenomenal meatballs, best garlic knots ever, and excellent service!! The service was incredible, the atmosphere is great, and for how expensive Miami Beach is, this place was surprisingly reasonable! I will certainly be back and cannot say enough amazing things about this place! Also, either the manager or the owner walks around periodically throughout the night asking ever table/patron how their meal is and if they need anything. Clearly owned and run by people that care and take pride in their food and service!! read more

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Mid Miami. Where do I start? The staff truly cares about your experience, the food is absolutely amazing, we order lasagna which tasted super good and supreme pizza. Our server Lukas was also great, efficient, happy and polite. I was staying at the Hampton Inn and passed this place going in & out the hotel numerous times. We were seated immediately and that was a plus as it looked as though all tables were full. We ordered the supreme pizza and garlic knots. The pie slices were huge it was definitely enough for 2 people. I would say to definitely check out this spot!! read more

I am giving this restaurant a 5 stars. We were seated right away. The owner was really nice and welcoming The food was delivered hot and fresh. The avocado and bread sticks were so yummy. Our veggie Pizza was really delicious and crispy and was really worth the wait. The grand finale was the tartufo pistachio ice cream in a chocolate shell with graham crumbs. It was the best we had ever eaten. We will try the tiramisu next time. Looks also yummy. read more

So this was supposed to be an excellent review, and it would have been until we met the manager Joel. So... I have my wife, her best friend, and her best friends daughter. I hate to make this a race issue but we were the only black people in the restaurant. Joel came to my table, as I'm finishing my drink and ask did we enjoy the meal. Yes I did and the waitress was awesome! Then he says oh ok, I have a big party coming and we need one more table. I ask are you telling me I have to leave? His response was yes. I said but I'm a paying customer and not causing any issues, but again we were the only black people there and the only ones asked to give up our table. He didn't ask to relocate us or anything. I asked for a refund because I felt this should not have happened this way but he said I should send an email to corporate if I wanted to complain but I would not get a refund. This has by far been tge worst experience I have had in a restaurant and honestly if it wasn't for the young child with us I would have took my refund out of him fir being so disrespectful and hateful. Never ever going back and I promise I will take this as far as I can! read more

Staff were attentive and friendly. Prices were high, as expected, but at least the pizzas are of reasonable size. The $32 pasta portion probably could've been a bit more generous. But anyway, on to why we're all here - The Pizza: The crust had a great crunch but I felt lacked nuance beyond that, no chew and a touch on the dry side. Cheese and sauce were fine but also unremarkable. The heaps of basil provided some bright freshness that was definitely appreciated. I feel even more compelled now to try the NYC location for comparison! This wasn't a bad pizza by any stretch but not something I would ever pick over my favorite NYC standouts.

I am so glad we made the trip! All of the slices were absolutely delicious! Phenomenal! And we ate every bit of it! We definitely were almost struggling to finish the last slice because we were pretty full but we finished it! This is now one of my favorite places! You have made it to Carolyn's top pizza list! My family had a 1 night stay in Miami after a cruise. We decided to order pizza from Piola and have it delivered to our hotel. I called the restaurant to ask a few questions and they said to order through the link on their website. We had an early flight and needed to wake up at 3am, so we needed to get to bed early. We ordered our pizza at 5:45pm and it was supposed to be delivered by 7pm. At 7:15 the pizza had not shown up so I tracked it through the link I was sent. The tracker said it was waiting for pickup from a driver. Piola ended up canceling our order at 7:45. They never called or gave a reason for the cancellation. Doordash and sauce.comtried calling the restaurant several times and could not get them to answer. I also tried calling, still no answer. We ended up not getting anything for dinner since we needed to get to bed so that we could make our flight. Luckily we had some granola bars in our bags. Would not recommend. I ordered a Margherita pizza for delivery to my hotel. While the pizza arrived earlier than the estimated delivery time, it was unfortunately cold upon arrival. I was also not informed in advance that the delivery would be left in the lobby rather than brought directly to my room. As for the pizza itself, a Margherita traditionally includes basil, but mine only had two small pieces. In my opinion, it would have been much better with more basil. I've had similar pizzas at other pizzerias that were more balanced in that regard. Overall, a disappointing experience due to both the delivery issues and the quality of the pizza. read more

One of the best places to go to in Miami beach. The staff is super friendly and you can really see that everyone is happy to be working there. Everyone is super attentive. The food is super yummy.
