I am so sorry to have to give Pinstripes a low rating and a bad review this trip. First, I know I'm going to get blasted by my friends who are pet lovers. And yes, I know I was sitting outside. However, restaurants are one place I do not expect to see pets. I was having dinner with friends tonight, and halfway through dinner, we heard a dog bark, but didn't think anything of it. When I looked up, I noticed a dog at the table next to ours. We hastily finished our dinner and got out of there. Seriously, what were they thinking? First, Fido may be a member of the family, but really? You can't leave him home or in the car for a meal? And what was the restaurant thinking allowing it? Nice interior! The lights are dimmed and it's very cozy. Is there a happy hour? Yes! But you have to go to the bar for that. There is decent priced drinks and half off appetizers. They do serve bread as an appetizer already. It's not too bad except for the fact that it didn't come out warm for us. I tried the spinach and artichoke dip. The dip was not too bad but the bread was rock hard. It was practically impossible to eat without worrying about crumbs flying everywhere. I tried the salmon with quinoa and peppers. It is at the bottom of the chef signature dishes. I will say this entree was delicious! There is a drizzle of orange sauce that is slightly spicy. However, the salmon is perfection because it is juicy and full of a sweet flavor. I also checked in on Yelp and got a free gelato or sorbet!!! My husband, a friend, and I had dinner on Pinstripes' patio last evening. The food and drink were fine. The service was adequate. The NOISE was deafening. If you are hearing-impaired, do yourself a huge favor, and avoid Pinstripes like the plague. We had learned by sad experience that we cannot eat inside at Pinstripes because of the deafening sound level, and last night patio dining there was also eliminated from our selection of restaurants. LOUD music was bumping from an overhead speaker over a large table of young people very near us. They yelled in order to hear each other over the rhythm-heavy music, and the hard surfaces of the patio and the concrete overhang reverberated and echoed the din. I not only could not converse with my husband and friend, but had to remove my hearing aids and use my heavy-duty earplugs to try to tolerate sitting there and finishing my meal without damaging my remaining hearing. Never again! If you value your hearing, find another place to eat. The setting at Pinstripes is lovely; the experience is not. read more

Great service and great food. My coworker and I went here for dinner and I was craving lasagna. Lucky for me, pinstripes has lasagna and it was delicious! There were so many layers and such a nice amount of meat and plenty of sauce to cover every layer. Perfect amount of cheese and delicious ricotta. They have a check in offer for a free serving of gelato and if you go in the fall and they have pumpkin spice gelato, boy are you in luck. This was the best pumpkin ice cream / gelato I've ever had. Had our sales kick off dinner and team building outing last night at Pinstripes in Edina MN. The service was good and ambiance was also fine. The food was a disappointment for the price point they were charging. I had the blackened pork chop which was marked as the "Chefs Choice" which included asparagus and sweet potato mash. The asparagus was so salty I could barely eat it and the pork chop was tough as a shoe (overdone) and for the $31 price tag definetly not worth it. I checked with my colleagues sitting next to me if their food was salty and they said yes - very. Wondering how the dishes can leave the kitchen that way with no one aware ? Just went with my family and the price for an hour bowling was insane. $21.00 a person. We had a few issues with the lanes and we had to go ask for help, the service button didn't do anything. The only food option was a $27 a person buffet. Andy tried asking if the cooks could make anything, but it didn't work. The ambiance was fine I guess, a little loud, but not bad. I will not go back. I've dined at Pinstripes on numerous occasions, but have not partaken in bowling or bocce ball, so I'm unable to comment on that aspect. The restaurant is located on the edge of the path that surrounds the water at Centennial Lakes Park. It shares a parking lot with several other businesses, which can force you to park a little farther away than desired at times, but it's nothing outrageous. The interior is spacious, bright and pleasant. Staff are outfitted in pastel purple shirts, which not super relevant, but I like the styling choice. (Hopefully they do too.) In the warmer weathered months, this restaurant shines because they have an amazing outdoor patio seating area that allows for you to enjoy the "lake" area from behind a curtain of trees. It's extremely nice in the evening and makes for an excellent happy hour spot. They have a small, but decent selection of happy hour food and drink offerings. On my most recent stop in, I was able to experience lunch for the first time here. While a lot of the menu was a bit pricey for lunch, it ended up being fine because of a handy discount coupon that I received in the mail awhile back. I ordered the veggie burger and made a couple of adjustments to it. Unfortunately, one of my requested changes was overlooked, but our server was very adamant about making things right. I thought that was really nice! Overall, I've had many good experiences eating here. Service and food have been generally consistent. It's a restaurant that I enjoy dining at every so often and will continue to visit in the future, especially when patio season hits. read more

I am rating this place a 4 for its beautiful venue, friendly attentive service, cozy seating, and menu options. My bf and I split an order of fried calamari and a margarita pizza. The calamari was great with the side of marinara sauce (or was it cocktail sauce?), but thought the pizza was pretty average so that's what's keeping my rating at a 4 instead of a perfect 5. Other than that, this place is great for groups of any size. There were leather sofas and a table for each bowling reservation. Hopefully the music is more lively and fun in the evenings. It was pretty chill/boring with a few fun throwback songs, but then again, it was a Sunday at 2pm. Parking might be really full if you go at a busy time. There is a huge dining area on the first floor and I think there was a private room as well. This is probably a great place when the weather is warm too; there are huge windows that let in lots of sunlight and a view of either somebody of water or park next door and there was seating around a bonfire outside as well. Lastly, 1 hour of bowling for two people was long enough to get in two rounds which amounted to $10 per person. Not bad at all. May want to reserve longer with larger groups. I loved pinstripes! We were visiting my boyfriends family in Minnesota and they took us here for our last night. We got there just in time for happy hour. I can't believe the prices, we got 4 drinks and three appetizers for $40. Talk about a deal. My favorite of the appetizers was the calamari. The pretzel was okay too, the sauce it's served with was yum. My least favorite was the bruschetta, it was covered in vinegar drizzle and it was a little strong for my taste. Service was a little slow and orders kept getting mixed up but we were a large group so I understand. We reserved an hour for bowling and an hour for bocce ball. We had such a huge party so we didn't get through a full game of bowling but it was fun regardless. Bocce ball was really fun too. We were right next to the bar upstairs so if you can, I'd recommend reserving upstairs since it's less packed. Such a great spot for parties or larger get togethers. So I gave them a 4 out of 5 because our sever was so nice and efficient. We had a table of 12 so I think they can handle large tables just fine. We were greeted right away and they had our table ready so overall service was prompt and courteous however, I think the food was just "okay". Honestly I might give the food a 3 out of 5. Yes this is a bowling and game place but it is a "fancy" one where your meal will cost about more and they have way more options that that of a traditional bowling/gaming place. I ordered the avocado and chicken flatbeard that was indicated on the menu as a customer favorite and delicious. However, I thought it was just mediocre and kind of lack some taste. I tries various meals at the table and I think I have the same ratings for all the entree options. Not terrible but nothing worth reordering or seeking out. Now the drinks on the other hand were DELISH! They were made with a sufficient about of alcohol, not overbearing but enough were you can feel it and hold a conversation. Also very tasty and refreshing! Also the dessert, I ordered was the brownie and gelato ice cream! So delicious!!!! I shared it with three other people because it was so rich, gooey, warm and perfect blend! Just what I wanted. We made reservations for bowling. Highly recommend you do this before just walking in. Only an hour and it went by fast. There are only 4 lanes they are small but still was a great time! Overall recommend for a more "grown" version of bowling. Its been about 4 years since I last came to eat here and I'm still absolutely in love with their chicken and avocado pizza (tip: its originally made as a flatbread, but you can request to have it as a pizza). The chicken, bacon, avocado, and onions go perfectly together for a nice savory taste. Heads up- every meal also comes with bread and pesto as an appetizer- yum! Their pesto sauce has gotten better since I last came in too. I had a bite of my friend's chicken marsala and Lord have mercy. Highly recommend that one too- nice and creamy; definitely one for mushroom lovers. The rice didn't do much for me, but the main dish itself was a gem. It has been awhile since we last went, but there's also the option of bowling while you eat. You can also get drinks while you're at it as well. I came here with a group of friends last night and I was pretty impressed. They have a variety of different foods. You can get a little fancy, or just stay classic and there is something for everyone. Atmosphere was great. We sat inside because it was a little chilly but they had a fire going outside on the patio and a live singer. Our waiter was very attentive and food came out in a good amount of time. We did not bowl or do bocce ball but I think dinner and a game would be a wonderful date night. I ordered a burger and my friends ordered a grilled chicken club and the Prime rib dip sandwich. FUN WEDDING VENUE! Right in the heart of all the action, Pinstripes is an upscale facility that will delight anyone. I was here for a wedding, and was not disappointed. Not being familiar with the area, it was a little difficult for me to find. But I did, and then I lucked out and found a convenient free parking space, right by the front door. There was a nearby parking ramp as well. All the folks having lunch on the patio were all having a good time. The view of the lake and all the gardens was so peaceful and relaxing that a pleasant meal was guaranteed. We had the second floor to ourselves, along with the bowling lanes and bocce ball courts. The bar and cocktail areas were inviting, and the outside deck had an incredible view. I loved how all the bartenders and servers had matching lavender shirts on. Looked like something I would have selected!! Even the girls at the front desk in the lobby were wearing them too, definitely a good look. Our wonderful bartenders/servers were efficient, polite, courteous, respectful, well trained,and experienced. Our plated dinner was deliciously exquisite and served in a timely manner. I had the beef option, and was happy with my choice. Yum! However, my only unpleasant experience was with the indifference of the girls at the front desk. They all seemed to be very young. Now, I entered to make sure that it was the correct entrance for the wedding. They told me yes, and that there was an elevator "down the hall". Ok, so I go retrieve my equipment for the wedding to take upstairs. I told them that I was doing that. So I come right back with both hands and arms full and make it through the first set of doors as they were opened. As I approached the closed set of doors,all 4 of them sat there behind the desk and watched me, a 68 yr old lady, struggling to open a door to get in. Not one of them got up to assist me by simply opening the door. I think that they could benefit from a class in customer service and politeness. Maybe they didn't want to deal with me because I was old? I asked again where the elevator was, and instead of escorting me there or help to carry anything, they just repeated "down the hall". Thanks. And there were 4 of them! I think an establishment of this caliber would teach the girls that are the 1st impression of Pinstripes to behave in a manner consistent with higher standards. We had reservations yesterday when we arrived we stood in line waited to be assisted. The blonde hair guy at the front desk calls up the white girls behind us to assist them first, doesn't even recognize us at all. I'm like hello, we were here first, he just walked away. We were seated in a socalled lounge area, with no menus, no water nothing, no scannable menu nothing! At least 3 servers walked passed us and offered no help. After 20 minutes of sitting we decided to leave, and then everybody's like " oh, thank you for coming". I will never return to this racist establishment. We were the only african american couple in the this place, clearly we stood out. it's absolutely disgusting that in this day and age discrimination is still so much alive. We were definitely judged from the moment we walked into those door's. Clearly! My husband and I are both software engineers, highly educated. The disrespect we received tonight won't be tolerated. I will never support this establishment in any city, please note: at least 3 server's walked passed us and never offered, asked if assistance was needed. If your not going to accommodate all people regardless of race why the fuck are you even open??? That's Edina for you. We didn't get a server to take our drink order for 30 minutes and then when someone came over they asked if we were ready to put in food .... didn't even have drinks yet.
