In Pinner there used to be a rather cluttered but Aladdin's cave-like hardware shop before the railway bridge. It has been gone for a while now, so I'm relieved to find that this store contains much of the same household essentials at a similar price point but in a much cleaner layout. Sure you're not going to be able to buy timber from here but if you came out on a Saturday morning to go to the post office and you needed to buy some fuses then this place fits the bill just nicely.
The store is laid out pretty logically, so I was able to find the fuses straight away, and the price was good (£1.50 for a pack of nine mixed fuses as I wasn't sure what size I needed). I quickly paid and then I was on my way. Of course I wish it had all turned out for the better - I thought I needed a new fuse for a plug but it turned out the lawnmower was just broken... so I had to head out again to get a new one from Argos, but that's another story.
I would happily come back here for similar products as the store made it easy to find products and the person work was a helpful chap (he was helping someone else as I paid). read more
