It is unfortunate that there is a pretty brand new Homesense two doors down as the layouts are drastically different. While Homesense looks modern and tidy, Dunelm just looks really dated and terribly cluttered. But, if you can get past that then you've come to an Aladdin's cave of homewares. Certainly if I was looking for a new duvet or a pair of curtains, I now know the place to go. The prices were certainly very reasonable and I had to chuckle when I spotted Star Wars: The Force Awakens tissues in a small Star Wars themed area. Dunelm is a great store, with lots of variety of things for your home. Having first gone to the new Homesense, it was strikingly obvious that Dunelm is a bit overfilled, cluttered, and dated. However, they do have good prices, and lots of choices. They did have a really small Christmas section though, which was a shame. If I needed something in particular, like new curtains, I'd definitely come here. But just to browse, it's a bit too much. read more

Located next to a large Staples and in the same complex as Waitrose, there is 3 hours free parking here. This store has 2 floors - bedding and bathroom items on the ground floor and on the upper floor lots of home accessories including prints, mirrors and kitchen gadgets. Very good value generally and you can get some excellent bargains. The pictures are cheap for their quality and for candles, nick nacks and so on it is definitely worth checking out. read more

This is my second visit to Dunelm. I actually went to visit the new Homesense store nearby and noticed the Dunelm. I ended up purchasing 2 gold framed mirrors and was delighted because later discovered that Argos are selling one of the same mirror's for £34.99. Dunlem sell it for £19.99. read more

I recently bought a curtain rail but unfortunately once fitted there was a problem with the smoothness when the curtains were pulled, I reported this to the store and was very satisfied with the professional way Jalpes delt with it and now it is working perfectly. Ann read more

Duelm Mill in South Harrow is the perfect shop to kit out your home. It sells lovely home ware including curtains and bedding. The Dunelms in South Harrow has two floors so there is plenty to see. There is free parking for 2 hours and you re able to park very close to the shop. Upstairs you can buy net curtains by the meter, picture frames, lighting and lampshades, kitchenware and nick knacks. Down stairs there is a hug range of bedding, towels, sheets and floor mats along with the ready made curtains and ones that are made to measure. There are some lovely things to buy and all very reasonably priced. At Christmas they have a good selection of unusual decorations. The store is very tidy although it does get busy at times. read more

This is a fantastic store and crammed full of household items. There is a good range of bedding and all at reasonable prices. There is an extensive range of curtains, cushions and materials. The prices beat most other similar shops so it is worth a look here first and there is good parking. read more

This is a great shop to go to if you are setting up home - cushions, pictures, mirrors, bathroom accessories and towels and kitchen accessories all at great prices and great quality too. They also have a large curtain department for both off the peg and made to measure curtains and upstairs is a section where you can buy metres of fabric either for curtains or whatever you wish to do with it. They also sell duvet's, pillows and duvet covers and they have a huge range all at very good prices. I bought a very heavy and thick double duvet for about £13 and it was a known make too - much cheaper than I would have found it in any other shop. read more
