It's the perfect shop to waist some time in while your waiting for friends at the station. Now don't expect anything too special, you have your regular department brands like the Arcadia group but you also get Dune shoes, fabulous make up counters, various other smaller designers as well as Helen W's favourite, Jane Norman. Seriously, I can't leave her in her without he coming out with bags full of new outfits. They also have an extensive home department upstairs with rugs, bedding and quirky lamps. As you walk up the stairs to the upper floors they have lists of celebs born in the area and what street they lived on. it's all very cool, very Brixton. It's a lovely shopping experience and if you love high street brands totally worth the visit.

After navigating around its unpractical opening hours I fell in love with a number of wardrobes and chest of drawers. This love was quickly torn away when I realised the prices. All the furniture is aged and worn rather than the perfectly manicured antiques that you might expect for this price. In the end after daily Ebay searches and having to travel to Brighton, I found my wardrobe, similar in style but a fraction of the price. But for those people who have the money and want an easy purchase Shaw would definitely be the better option.

From the numerous permanent stands you can buy jewellery, ceramics, rugs, antiques and clothing. This venue has the potential to really draw in the creative crowd of Dulwich, but rather lacking in originality, it is a real let down I had high hopes for the indoor market, but it fell well short of this. Without a lot of work or change of hands, I will not be rushing back here.

The shoes are beautiful and the lady who runs it knows her stuff. There's a small cafe just when you walk in that does much better coffee tea and hot chocolate (soya too) than Cafe Nero. This place reminds me of a place in Boston called Bed and Bowl. It also reminds me of chicken…read morenuggets served on a golden tray owned by Jeff Koons. Why? I don't know. So, back to the store. This place is full of home and kitchen decoration things. Picture frames, pots and pans, kitchen towels, clocks, monocles, velocipedes. It's decent stuff. No Octopus, but alright just the same. I'd definitely go here for some good kitchen basics if my apartment was feeling a bit bare. Fortunately my apartment likes to wear its clothing - wool sweaters and long johns and jeans to be exact. There's also some things here which would work well as gifts. Anyone seen those chicken nuggets? Anyone? I've got to go find them.
