I got three bids from Best Buy:Magnolia, another contractor, and Prodigy. Magnolia guys where not very responsive and I repeatedly had to follow up with them so made me feel like a number. The independent contractor was also very good and probably would have done a good job too but his business was very small which could leave me hanging in the future should I have problems. Prodigy sent over Ryan B. and he demonstrated that I was dealing with a whole other level of pro. His depth of knowledge, understanding, and willingness to lend a perspective on where I should focus my investment and where I can perhaps save was very helpful. Ryan gave me three bids - high, medium, and low- and explained the pors and cons to each. This is why I went with Prodigy. They were not the cheapest but demonstrated they have a sustainable business too support the technology, service to deliver professionally, and support to give me piece of mind that my investment will be maintained. I want whomever sold to support it and Prodigy feels like they will be around for awhile should I have problems in the future. I highly recommend Prodigy.

I shopped around from the box stores (Magnolia, Geek Squad, Hifi Buys, etc.) before I stumbled upon Bryan. I was very nervous about installing my televisions. They were each going to be installed above fireplaces in a newly constructed home. One of the televisions was in our downstairs great room, the other was outside on a brick fireplace. These are both very high profile areas, and I knew that if the TV's were not installed perfectly it was going to haunt me for years. Bryan was very responsive and answered all of my questions. From his website I saw that he had a tremendous amount of experience with installs, and being that he owned his own business I knew he would care just as much about his workmanship as I would. The televisions were perfectly hung, the cable box, AppleTV, and sound bar wires were cleanly concealed. I couldn't be happier. As an added bonus, Bryan helped setup my equipment (the cable service, TV and sound bar were all new out of the box). He even took his shoes off to come in the house! After doing an extensive search and talking to multiple vendors, I decided to go with Mark and I'm extremely happy I did. When I had Mark over for his free quote, it was immediately evident he knew his stuff. If you do your research, you'll find he's done giant home theatre installs, commercial work for restaurants and corporations and the regular TV/wire concealment jobs for residents. He was knowledgeable, thorough and extremely professional as he walked me through the effort and materials required and the pros and cons of different methods of installation. Mark is the kind of guy who measures twice and cuts once. When I hired Mark, I wasn't sure how exactly I should place the TV's, what the right height was or where on the wall the TV's should sit. Mark helped walk me through different options and recommend optimal placement for both viewing and aesthetic value.
