I have been a customer with this company for five years, and ever since the changeover, the service has been terrible. The staff is incompetent and unhelpful. I recently applied for credit with the company even though my account is in good standing. I was shocked to receive an email saying I was denied due to student loans on my credit. I never thought student loans would stop a loyal five-year customer from receiving credit. The denial email came in record time, yet whenever I call to request a delivery, there's always an excuse and a delay. The priorities here are completely backwards. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with, and I wish Lakeridge would switch to a different provider. The only time they respond quickly is when someone posts a negative review online--they rush to call and try to clean up their image. Well, not this time. Do not call my phone asking what's wrong or to pressure me into removing this review. I stand by it. I'm giving this place 2 stars because of the friendly helpful office staff. However, the guy filling our 30# propane tanks couldn't get more than 12#'s of propane into one of the tanks. I asked him to loosen the gas bleed screw, but he said he doesn't do that and didn't know that it did anything and didn't try. He said I have a defective tank, but still able to get 12# of gas into the tank! read more

Was very upset when I was told it would take 8-10 weeks to get my regulator on my tank fixed. The next day, Brian from the main office in Texas called me and told me I had been miss informed and he would send someone to take care of it that day. Horrible customer service. We've been without heat or hot water for 5 days and keep getting told that we're "on the delivery list". We've been fighting this ever since they took over. One day you talk to someone in Texas, Kansas City the next and two or three other locations, none of whom care. We were told last Friday they would deliver if we prepaid, which we did and I'm still cold and without heat. Avoid these people like the plague. read more

Pathetic Pinnacle Propane. It's time to switch and heating season hasn't even started. Heetco used to rent us a 500 gallon tank for $200/10 years. Pinnacle (took over Heetco) is now going to lease our very old tank to us for $150 every year. Heetco would answer our phone calls! When I call "local" Pinnacle, I get switched to an an office in Arkansas who admits they can't help me; I have to talk to the Lawrence business (which seems impossible to reach). Pinnacle has "lost" a $600 check that WAS cashed by my local bank on April 24. Bank has verified the payment. (I had to send them the front/back of my check. ) Now Pinnacle is asking where I mailed the check. Grrrr. This should not be my problem. read more

TAKE YOUR BUSINESS OTHERWHERE! I wish I could give this place zero stars. As of today, we called 19 days ago to get a refill. Three days ago my husband stopped by the local office and was told we were on a "list" for delivery the next day. We didn't get it that day, my husband stopped by on his way home. He was told we were on the "list" for the following day. Still no delivery. I stopped by on my way to work and was told we are scheduled for Sunday, two days from today. The rep said the head office keeps adding new customers to the route. So I called corporate, and was told we were scheduled for early next week. Tuesday comes, still no propane (we are now below 10 gallons), I stop into the office and ask where we are on the "list." Today, I was told, but when my husband gets home a bit before their closing there hasnt been a refill, he calls again and FINALLY! FINALLY! They run out and within 10 min (we live only 7 miles away) we have a couple employees from Arkansas helping out the local crew. They are not being transparent about what is actually going on, but lying many times to our face. We have been with Pinnacle for years, thinking that next year they will get it together. NOPE. Has not been the same since Heetco was bought out. No more, this year was the last straw! read more

Use someone else!!!! We have been using this company since they bought out Heetco in Osage County, KS. We have not had anything but horrible experiences with them. They have lost our payment several time, at least 3 times however, we have been able to prove to them that they collected payment based on our bank statements. Our bank even provided letters stating that payment was taken out. They continue to tell us that we have not paid and they were going to send to collections. We paid AGAIN to avoid that. Now yesterday 9/11/2023, I got a letter in the mail stating our account was sent to collections for lack of payment! Their customer service is a 100% joke and they are the absolute worst. You wait on hold for literally HOURS and then they still want to argue with you about payment. Also, we did not contract this year because of the issues we have been having with them. So they came out and filled our tank up to 80% as requested, charged us and then that is when we started having these problems where they tell us that we did not pay. We did not call or ask for more propane but they were having computer issues and could not access customers accounts so they came out AGAIN, ON THEIR OWN, and filled us back up to 80% from 70% and are trying to charge us for this as well. Now they will not take calls, emails, or anything from us... even corporate. read more

Use a different company!!!! These people do not respond to phone calls, or requests for service, and will let you tank run empty even when you have a "KEEP FULL" contract. My 80 year old mother ran out of propane (twice in the same year) & had no heat when the temp outside was 6 degrees for the day's high temp. Furthermore when I called to find out what the hell was going on, I was told they would research it and call me back... STILL WAITING on that call SMH! for 5 years I complained of propane smell on my property. they put a wrench on this and a o ring on that and it never solved the leak. the leak cost me hundreds extra a year. they eventually started charging me for their visits to look for the leak even though I was renting their tank. I was also told a leak is normal and I should just learn to live with it. finally I called for new propane service and a representative came out to look at my set up. he found in minutes that my regulators (3) were leaking and 6 years out of date. I had no idea that they were not up to code and I shouldn't even been allowed to get a fill up but I was continuously told they were working fine even though years earlier I requested new ones and a new tank to start fresh. total scam artists. it has been 4 months since I quit using them and they still haven't picked up their tank. I get a new lie every month. read more

This company is ridiculous! We elect their pre-pay service with the agreement to keep our tank full. This is the second time in a little over a year that we awaken in the middle of a cold night out of propane. When you call the office after hours, a woman answers but instructs you to call the office after 8am as she's "not allowed to hold messages". Why bother answering the phone!?! I made a payment and for some reason it got sent back to my bank as a refund. When I tried to get propane they said I owed that plus a late fee. After arguing with them I paid over the phone because I was down to 8% propane and no time to find a new company. The driver was told that I would pay them by check, but since I wasn't home, they didn't fill the tank. This is a horrible company to work with. I wish Heetco never would have sold out to them. This company kinda sucks. We called them to inform them that we were out of propane and they said that they would send a truck out to refill our tanks and that was at 8:30 THIS morning. It's after hours and it's a Friday, so we are going to be without propane for 4 whole days. This is honestly ridiculous. If you are going to say that you're going to send a man out, then make sure that man comes out, honestly frustrating. How are my kids going to bathe for school? Don't use this company. They let out propane tank run out of propane 2 times this winter. This last time, we called 2weeks ago to say it was getting low, they never came, we are now out of propane and it's 62 in the house. The driver for Heetco who came to fill up our tank with Propane when crazy. He got here and after talking to the homeowner he when to get started, He went and saw the tank was at 0% and came beating on our glass door hard until the homeowner got clear across the house to open the door. He then proceeded to curse at the homeowner and threatened her and took off in his truck without even completing his job. The homeowner called the company and the lady who she talked to backed up the driver and said that ALL of the drivers are frustrated so if they get mad not to take it seriously. I dont care if they are frustrated or tired! The customer is always right and you never bad mouth and threaten a customer even if you are frustrated. The homeowner never said one thing bad to this man and he went completely out of line! Think twice before using Heetco! read more

This company is a joke. Buy elsewhere!! Our gauge on our tank said we had 100 gallons of propane. For the second time this year, we are out of propane. The last time this happened, I was reprimanded by the office staff because the tank was empty. I was told I didn't bang on my tank hard enough for the gauge to read correctly. After shelling out $95 for a new pressure test, even though our gauge read above zero, they filled our order. When I called in and told them there was the same problem and scheduled another $95 pressure test, the delivery driver informed me, over voicemail, that he refused to delivery their minimum amount because he had a larger tank installed two years ago, at our expense, so he didn't waste his time with little orders. He told me he'd be up sometime to repossess our tank. This is after being without hot water for THREE DAYS waiting on him to deliver!! And what's worse, he's taking our tank and the propane left in the tank. They claim it must be empty, which means they either charged us for propane they didn't deliver the last time, as we have watched the gauge closely and it has declined steadily to the 100 gallon mark where it sits, or our hot water heater has used over 250 gallons of propane in four months. Shop somewhere else. The company is a rip off and more hassle than anyone should have to deal with. read more
