We hadn't signed up with a new propane company yet, decided that the company that's going to be able to get us out of this pickle fastest is the one we're going to continue working with. I called O'Brien, a guy called Brian answered. He was very nice, it was Wednesday, he said he was going to try to pull it off by Saturday even though it's an extremely busy time and they are backed up. He said he was even gonna try to pull it up earlier. He was going to confirm and get back to me. Which we really appreciated. I called back yesterday to tell them that even if they can't do earlier, we want to confirm Saturday. I called Carl answers. I asked Carl just to confirm they're coming Saturday. Carl said OK. I called the next day because I never got a confirmation. Carl says that he told me if he doesn't call back it's confirmed. Carl never said that. Carl was also pretty abrasive on the phone and he was in a hurry to get off the phone. It almost felt Carl was saying hey this is all I got for you you're gonna have to do what I say if you want gas. I didn't like it. I felt like he thought I had to deal with an abrasive demeanor because I had no other choice. Nope.... I ended up calling Bubba's propane.. they were professional and they're coming the same day. The owner of the company said that his policy is that no home goes without heat and water and all that. We're going to continue working with Bubba forever. you tell me if that decision was good or not. Brian gets 3 stars Carl gets zero

Let me tell you about Cleveland. No, not the coveted vacation destination in northern Ohio -…read moreCleveland the man. More specifically, a man of the cloth. ... and the cloth I'm talking about is none other than the guild of liquid propane (and of course liquid propane accessories). Cleveland runs O'Brien Propane. I've known Cleveland for about 3 years now. And he's saved my ass about 3 times. Most recently was last week. We had a plumber running a new line from the tank to the house and broke the POL valve and asked me to let the propane man know. Cleveland's schedule was slammed for the next week and couldn't make it out. I put him on speaker with the plumber to figure out what was going on and he smelled (figuratively) something funny. He told the plumber to stop what he was doing. Cleveland dropped everything and got here in 5 minutes. Come to find out, the plumber set up the system to send high-pressure propane (175 psi) into the house when it required about 0.5 psi. From what I understand that could've dumped the 250 gal tank into our house in minutes. The conversation got spicy. Cleveland's tech came in the next morning (on his day off) and spent 4 hours overhauling the system. The plumber owned his mistake. And showed up the next day to shadow the tech to learn how to do it right. Another disaster avoided. And all thanks to Cleveland and his crew. The last time he bailed me out was during Icepocolypse when they were working around the clock and late late into the night to get people in need propane to stay warm. No one from any other company has taken better care of me as a client. He's funny as all hell. Always has a giant smile on his face and you can tell his family (and his employees families) mean the world to him. There's a lot I admire about this man. If you live in Southwest Austin or Dripping Springs and are on propane, I promise no one will take care of you better.

We happened to see Garnett's propane truck n the neighborhood (after 15 days without propane) and my husband asked if they could bring us some. See emails below. I had to cancel the dispute to placate my buyer. You have made my buyer believe that there is a legal dispute on that property, when all I did was challenge a credit card charge that I DID NOT authorize. TERGGY GARNETT's is a HORRIBLE company and I will tell everyone I know how awful and predatory your company can be. If you are not the proper contact, please point me to the correct representative with Terry Garnetts (other than K) and copy this communication to them. K has contacted the new owner of the house, my real estate agents, the buyer's real estate agent, and been incredibly rude and threatening to all of them. Each time I have spoken to her, and in the email, below, she insists that I am "confused". I am not confused. I do not wish to interact with her again. I challenged the charge to my credit card for several, in my opinion, legitimate reasons. I just got off the phone with the credit card company and they said the dispute resolution process is not completed and this "dispute is not final". They also told me that their recommendation is to allow the dispute to resolve prior to any exchange of goods or services. Let me say it again, you do not have my permission to enter the property at . I cannot give you permission to enter that premises, because I do not own it anymore. Unless the new owner gives you permission you would be trespassing, which is illegal. To take the propane, which you may or may not end up receiving payment for once the banks investigate the dispute, would be theft, which is also illegal. To the matter of the dispute itself, and why I disputed the charge. First, I do not believe that Terry Garnetts delivered 370 gallons of propane to my tank in May. In February, I chose a DIFFERENT propane company who had already FILLED my tank since your people were on my property in January, because your people left my tank empty after the regulator failure and repair in January. First, I do not believe that Terry Garnetts delivered 370 gallons of propane to my tank in May. In February, I chose a DIFFERENT propane company who had already FILLED my tank since your people were on my property in January, because your people left my tank empty after the regulator failure and repair in January. To recap, in January, you delivered propane to me and Since it was the first time, your techs did a full safety inspection, they said all was fine and filled the tank. They left the valve on the tank closed so i had no heat, hot water or ability to cook. After that was resolved, the regulator on top of the tank failed spectacularly, blowing out the propane lines to my generator and filling one bedroom with propane. The fire department sniffed over 1,000 ppm of gas when they came. You replaced the regulator and I paid to dig up and repair the gas line to the generator. Then you left my tank empty in winter. Unhappy with the quality of your services, I called and cancelled my services with you and had my propane tank filled by an alternate company. You showed up in May, claiming to have filled 370 gallons into a 500 gallon tank, which companies will only fill to 80%, or 400 gallons, to allow for expansion. I had not needed propane from the time I bought that house in May 2024, until I called and asked you to fill it in January 2025. In March, before I moved out, it was showing between 75-80% full. Terry Garnetts and other propane companies have all told me that they only fill tanks to 80% to allow for expansion. For the reasons I have laid out, here, I don't believe that you delivered that amount, if you delivered any, to my tank. Secondly, I dispute it, because I did not authorize you to change my credit card for this, even if I had agreed that you delivered it and I had a responsibility to pay I (which I dispute). It goes on but there is a character count in reviews- BEWARE!

I was free one afternoon so I texted all my local amigos where I should take them. I didn't want to exchange as the tanks were great and I'm cheap. Immediately three said "Wimberley Hydro." Those three usually wouldn't agree on anything so that was a good sign. I arrived clueless and they immediately were attentive, helpful, and nice. Quickly filled up the collection of tanks. While there I noticed they have a lot of propane products that almost hit my envy gene. The place was well kept up, clean, organized and definitely a shop to work on propane needs. That gave me the impression of a lively business that cared. Even at my age, I have this 3 year old wide eyed awe of something novel or new. Out back were lined up the usual assortment of large white tanks just waiting for a new home so they could retire as a BBQ pit after years of service. But next to them was this amazing and simple thing. Who would have thought? GREEN propane tanks. Holy cow. I just saw the first non-black Ford Model T! No way will my next tank at home be this big white blob out back. In fact, maybe it's time to retire mine into a BBQ pit and order a new GREEN one from Wimberley Hydro....
