We started June 2025, we go to this location 3 days a week. As soon as you walk up to check in, every single person who has worked the desk has been cordial and friendly to us. I mean it's 730am class and it's so early. But they always say welcome in, with a smile. The juice gal greets me every morning I'm there, then says goodbye with a smile on her face on our way out. Now as far as the Pilates instructors, so far everyone has been wonderful. We've learned a lot. We've had one grumpy instructor in the beginning, but she was gone after a few classes. Not sure what happened to her, but she wasn't a happy camper. I'll spare mentioning her name. But our favorites have been Elizabeth, Kelly, and now Jolene. Our other two fave either had to go back to a regular 9 to 5, which is Cathy, and Josh moved to another center. All have been fantastic including the subs. We joined through our health insurance which was a great deal, and to join reformer Pilates it's an extra 99.00 a month per person unlimited. We were grandfathered in so not sure how much it is now but I'm sure it's still a better price than other Pilates studios out there. So much less in price than Club Pilates for sure, and most of the time you are on a wait list, and can't get the class you want. Only reason I didn't give this location a 5 star is because the pool area. 1. The water gnats I would see were out in abundance on the walls. Means they were coming from the pipes, and something needed to be cleaned. Then the whirlpool looked rusty and needed cleaning. Which they finally did but it took a while to clean up. So we haven't used it for a while now. It's not LA fitness fault but more like the members when in the whirlpool. Sometimes I enter the whirlpool and it smells like really strong perfume/Cologne ugh...so off pudding!!! But I do Have to say that this LA Fitness is much more cleaner than the one by my house where my family found mushrooms growing in the shower ugh! It's done in a group setting, where it's dark, loud, but the coaches are louder ... and they show you several ways to complete the reps depending on your level of fitness. There's tons I can say about the individual coaches, and sadly, some of them come and go but it seems that with new talents and recruits they still maintain a family vibe! I've had three personal trainers for different programs that was interested in and I found Kelly Smith to be particularly helpful in dealing with some issues I had with sciatica.. she emphasized how you can develop strength and mobility, making my workout time more efficient. Her glutes and sciatica training were extremely helpful and I have not seen those exercises in any online videos.

The Buffalo is the perfect combo of functional fitness, weight-lifting and a little CrossFit thrown in! The community is very welcoming and family friendly and I love how you see every body type and age here! They have great, new equipment, a long turf area and a designated weight machine section. This place is huge!! Also, if you have kids, they have free daycare for certain classes so you don't have to worry about it. I've been a member here for a little over a year and love it here. The coaches are supportive and care about you reaching your goals. Try it out!!

I like it here. :)…read more The studio is bright, and clean, and airy. Everyone who works here is so kind and welcoming. They offer 3 different kinds of classes: Signature 60, Signature 45, and Strength 45. Signature classes are high energy full body work-outs that get your heart pumping, and include isometric holds for strength conditioning in either 45 or 60 minute versions. I'm currently obsessed with their Strength classes which are 45 minutes and are still a full-body workout, but of slower movements, using heavier weights and resistance bands. I can actually feel myself getting stronger, and I only come in once a week! I do wish they had more Strength class options during the week. Newcomers can try their first class for free! Then there are various membership options to suit your need. Since I come in once a week, I opt for their 10 class pass option, which you have several months to use. I like not having a monthly membership hanging over me. This way I get the full benefit of what I purchase. The studio is also two doors down from a Starbucks for that post workout coffee break!
