I set up an appointment with this plumber, and the day that I set up for they no showed but I got a…read moretext that due to a family situation they had to cancel but they said they would contact me back to set up a better time. I understand things happen, but I waited two days and reached back out and contacted them again having no idea what might be going on, but I had an issue that I still needed their help with. They again said vaguely that they couldn't do it this week and again promised to follow up. They never apologized for not calling back like they said. Again, a couple days go by and still nothing. No contact, no information beyond that. I don't know what was going on, but no communication, no call backs- and I'm a family guy so family is important, but when I'm trying to book you for a business perhaps communicate better if you promise to do so. Needless to say after ghosting me and lack of communication, I posted a review elsewhere on social media and the owner had the gall to post my 1-star review and called me out- I had patience and waited many days- the business owner didn't respond, ghosted me, then blasted me on social. After many people came to my defense, they deleted the post. Wow, what a bunch of drama! I will forever avoid the Salts- I found out the owner has several race cars- no wonder his estimates always came in high. I'll find someone else in the future and suggest that you not do business with these people or they will post your honest review on their social media and try to convince people that YOU are the problem. Not ever a business I'd take a risk on again.

He removed crumbling old cast iron I think, from the septic line. He priced it amazingly. He also cut a frozen access and put in a modern access to cold water for the washer/dryer combo very quickly. He came back and adjusted the septic line after I had the driveway paved and it was sticking out. He's amazing. Thank u from the bottom of my heart Austin Plumbing!! Found a leak from the main floor dripping from the ceiling of the finished basement on a Saturday…read moreafter 4:30 pm. Contacted my regular plumber (not Cox) and found out he was out of town on vacation. Finally called Cox after 5 pm. Was pleasantly surprised when he answered the phone. He had other jobs already scheduled but was able to come by on Sunday afternoon. (I had shut off everything I could think of so the leak had stopped. Was afraid it was the toilet by the kitchen.) He was able to arrive an hour earlier than he expected which was great. Long store short... he was able to diagnose the actual problem (wasn't the toilet) and the issue was resolved. Very professional, very knowledgeable, very personable. Nice guy and the cost was actually less than I expected for an emergency weekend plumbing call. Hope I never need a plumber again but I would definitely use Cox Plumbing again.
