the people that put stuff up was alright but the people that talk about the stuff they were suppose to give u like 25 percent they said I will get back on my income tax n can put it toward the bill they gave me no cash back only a credit I couldn't even pay the bill with THE CREDIT than I ordered 13 panels they said it was gonna b enough it definitely wasnt I had to order 6 more panels and it still not enough panels not to even cover half the light bill so now I'm stuck paying 300$ a month for solar and 300$ for ppl thanks pinnacle exteriors for your great work and advice WELL NOT REALLY read more

We met with Pinnacle Rep, Edwin Liggon regarding installing solar panels on our roof. He was very pleasant, patient, thorough, and dealt with all our questions patiently. He computed the leasing costs and potential savings we would experience using solar energy and explained things to to our satisfaction. It was a pleasure dealing with him and we give a grade of AAA+++. Clem & Sophie McGinley read more

We had solar panels installed on the roof of our new pole building. While the panels are working great, the issue was the installation of them. During heavier rains the work done has created leaks in the roof. Despite several attempts to repair it, it continues to leak and the promises to repair it during the next heavy rain has not been addressed for the last three rains and phone calls are not returned as to when or how they will address the problem that they created. The generation of the electric is great but having things inside the building get wet because of their work is not worth the return. Hindsight is always 20/20 and I would not use them again because of their follow up (poor value). Rick D. read more

We had a solar system installed by Pinnacle two years ago. They initially quoted what turned out to be a price competitive with other companies, but seemed to know more about the tech. They asked what it would take to get me to sign, so I named a price 20% less and they came very close to that through "commercial" pricing. I'm sure it's all a gimmick, and I don't care because I got a very fair price. So, their pitch is a bit high-pressure, but yours can be too. Negotiate! When they came to do the work, they were on-time, communicated well, and did high-quality work. And they left a clean job site every night and at the end (most unusual and a marked contrast to previous roofers I had used. When we found a couple of screws at the inspection at the end (really nothing, compared to previous crews from other companies), the rep. apologized. If I could ding them a half-star, I would, because some members of the team did not using fall-arrest harnesses, but it's their workmen's comp, not mine. The building inspector even gave them kudos for getting every fastener into a rafter (I almost fell over, "I guess it's ok" is usually what he considers high praise). The system they sold us has now been in flawless, uninterrupted, operation for two years and I am very satisfied and our expected payback is ahead of schedule. I would definitely use them again. read more

If you contact them and move out of their area, they will spam you with sales calls instead of updating their database - and they do not care about the Do Not Call registry. 3 years now with 3-5 calls a week (and counting). read more

Overall the experience was very pleasant. The company did a great job with installing the system and explaining everything.

Pinnacle did a fantastic job! The sales professional was courteous and not pushy. The install team did a great job of advising me on what they were going to do before doing it and advising me once complete. They did an great job with daily and end of project cleanup. They also were great with helping me familiarize myself with the app. Now, I'm looking forward to seeing the solar panels feed back into "the grid"and my pocket! read more

Beware!!!! This company is terrible!! Horrible services and customer service is just as bad! They have no problem making money from you but when you need them to come back they won't answer your calls and never send someone out to look at a faulty solar panel that they supposedly fixed. They want your money and never want to service anything that goes wrong. If I could rate this company, it wouldn't have a star!!! Shame on you, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!!! read more

The way we were treated in our home when we reached out for a quote was awful. I would never do business with them based on that one visit alone. They had us there for almost 3 hours in the evening and then was talking to finance and laughing at how we wouldn't accept their 'deals' as though we were idiots for not taking it. I would stay away. Be prepared when getting a quote for it to take a while and more than 80% of it was irrelevant to what we wanted to hear. read more

Easy to work with, did a clean job. Financing was easy and met all of our needs. Can't wait to see the savings solar brings!

Very unprofessional. The sales guy hit on my wife. There guys showed up late and they tried to overcharge me. Thanks to my lawyer I was given a check after 6 months. Owner of company was also very rude. Would never recommend. read more

I have not yet done any business with this company, but there representative was in my home today for about 2 hours to provide me a quote for their work. They do Roofing and other exterior work, but the focus of today's quote was for pricing and installation for a complete solar electric array system for the roof of my home. I read other people's reviews, and then I experienced them today. The sales rep was not well organized, he had absolutely no literature to share with me, aside from a presentation booklet from the shingle manufacturer. I was given absolutely no literature of any kind. Even the business card did not have anyone's name printed on it. A two-hour verbal presentation is really hard to understand and recall, to make a good decision on. Just on that basis, I have no further interest in working with Pinnacle. read more

The salesman who came out for the initial consultation were very friendly and informative. It took a while to get the panels for installation, however, once the process started it only took 1 day, quick and easy. read more

Pinnacle roofing (at least a truck with that name on the side over another company name??) pulled off our roof by mistake. They were supposed to do the roof next door. Although this was not our problem, they realized soon enough that they had made a mistake and did not finish the roof properly thus we had a new roof that leaks like crazy. Pinnacle then refused to give any sort of guarantee or at least fix the problem THEY created. I would not recommend these sleazy contractors under any circumstances! Save yourself a bundle of trouble and get someone reputable. read more

I called up for an appointment and updated several times. Drove from New Jersey to Pennsylvania to keep this appointment. My appointment was at 10 o'clock I called even the same day at 9 o'clock and asked if they had my phone number in case they got lost. The young lady who is very nice said yes we have your phone number and you are booked at 10 o'clock. 1030 rolled along than 1040 rolled along I called there and the young lady kindly said that my appointment was never confirmed. And I said the above. She said hold on then a nasty unprofessional attitudinal man came on the phone, he was extremely rude, extremely obnoxious and unprofessional I will always remember the name pinnacle exteriors as Extremely unprofessiol read more

Pinnacle did a window installation job for us and it was the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor. They were super nice on the sales side, and we went with them since they do siding and roofing, too. We thought they'd know what they were doing. The project took FOREVER, and every time there was a delay or missed communication, there was always some excuse. Windows were incorrectly sized and ordered. Two windows were not sealed and when it rained the water came POURING in the windows, damaging the drywall underneath. I would never ever recommend them to anyone. read more

They deserve a zero but Yelp won't let you leave that. We had pinnacle do our windows 3 years ago. Sales guy was super nice we read mostly great reviews and they had a good BBB rating. While the job was delayed I was ok because I wanted it done right. Fast forward 2 years. I started to smell something musty in our family room. It was only occasionally and no one else smelled it. Now several months later the smell was now enough where my husband traced the musty smell to the window. After removing the drywall we discovered our window wasn't sealed and mold had gotten in. Alarm bells started going off. After having the house tested they found mold in the walls under 9 of the 11 windows. Our cost to remediate just the mold not even to fix the window problem is $35,000 dollars. Pinnacle came out and refused to take any responsibility. They said it was our responsibility to maintain the windows. We just had a contractor look at the windows and he said the windows weren't even the right size and nothing in their installation was done right. Using pinnacle was the most costly mistake we've made in the 30+ years of owning homes. read more

We hired Pinnacle to replace 13 windows in our home and 2 storm doors. The windows included screens which they tout as being innovative. We signed the contract in Oct 2017, gave them a large deposit and were advised they would start the job within 3 weeks. That time period came and went. We called and were advised they were waiting on the window order. With the holidays we didn't follow up until January. We were advised they still didn't have part of the order. Finally the end of Jan 2018 the windows were installed. One man came to do all the windows and doors and it took 2.5 days. He was an excellent worker and did a good job. I do not believe he was employed by Pinnacle though. Perhaps that worked to our advantage. When he replaced the front window he advised us that the screens did not come and that he called the office to have them ordered. Long story short many phone calls, promises broken and a BBB complaint we still don't have the windows as of March 2019. To some this might not be a big deal but we did not pay thousands of dollars to not be able to open our windows. I will not recommend this company to anyone and will give warning to anyone who asks. It would have been so easy and much less costly for them to have been an honest company and fulfilled their obligation. We are now seeking legal avenues. read more

Recently had consultation for a solar installation, and while the salesman, who made it very clear he wasn't a salesman, but a marketing consultant seemed knowledgeable, quickly started using high pressure sales tactics. He was unable to give me an itemized quote without me first signing a contract. ( buyer beware!) Started out at around 50k for the system but offered 7k off for promotional allowances.... When that wasn't enough to get us on the hook and we told him we needed time to explore other options he told us if we changed our mind and tomorrow we wanted to move forward the cost would be 50k. Still not comfortable that we could make an informed decision in such a short amount of time he had to call his manager to let him know he was ok, and would be leaving for the next appointment, they found money in the budget to cut the cost another 10 grand.... I'm most familiar with such antics from used car salesman. No thank you. I refuse to deal with a company that uses such sales tactics. read more

I recently had a very disconcerting experience with Pinnacle Exteriors. We contacted them to replace 18 microinverters (we had already bought the upgraded microinverters) on the solar panels that we have installed on our garage roof. Unfortunately, thru no fault of our own, there had been some wiring damaged done by squirrels apparently and there were 8 damaged panels that the Pinnacle crew said needed to be replaced even though all but 1 panel was in working order prior to their moving the panels. Pinnacle gave us an additional verbal quote of $5109 to replace the damaged panels but gave no specifics as to what type of panels were going to be used and what warranty comes with the panels (our current panels have a 25 year warranty and we're only in year 8) saying only that the panels would be different and would not fit the current configuration of the panels on the garage roof. We directed them to only install the new microinverters on the 10 undamaged panels so we had time to assess our options and this is when the problems started. The crew replaced 10 of the 18 microinverters, and then were directed by James Henriques from the office to collect the balance of the contract price prior to leaving the job site (we had already paid them a $1000 deposit). I then contacted James at the PInnacle office indicating that they had not completed the job as written in the contract. He was very arrogant and belligerent on the phone often raising his voice and acted very unprofessionally and tried to equate our refusal to pay the entire contract price with going to Burger King and telling the cashier that we weren't going to pay full price for a whopper meal. We were more than willing to pay the $150 per panel as quoted and the $200 miscellaneous fee along with paying for the time it took the crew to identify the damaged panels. He also told me they didn't have a $200 fee for miscellaneous services even though that was included in the contract price by the salesman. James refused to redo the contract breaking out the cost of the 10 panel replacement which should have been $1500 and then giving us a breakdown of labor cost for the time spent by the crew identifying the damaged panels. Instead, I was lectured on the cost of liability insurance to have employees working on roofs and telling us that they would never do any work for us again. He agreed to reduce the price by $400 for not completing the work as contracted (even though the differential was $1200). I finally suggested we split the difference and at that point he reduced it by another $250-meaning that they were paid $750 for the time it took to identify the damaged panels (most of this time was his crew sitting in their truck in our driveway waiting for the rain to slow down and waiting for direction from the office). I spent 35 years working in a professional field and if I had treated any of my customers the way I was treated on the phone by James I wouldn't have lasted a year without being fired. We were willing to pay a fair and equitable price for the service that was rendered and have never had a problem of this magnitude with a contractor in the past or been treated so poorly. As a matter of fact, I have never written a negative review on any person or company prior to this, and we have dealt with many over the course of home ownership during the past 40 years, but I don't want others to be subjected to the demeaning behavior of this individual or the company. After reading other reviews that have been done by others who had work performed by this company I found that I am not the only person who has had difficulty with the company and James in particular. read more

I contacted Pinnacle Exteriors and a salesman came out and I told him I was interested in solar energy, but that I wasn't sure what my electric bill was going to be since I just had a new heat pump installed and only had it since July 2018. He told me I needed my roof replaced which I later found out was incorrect when I had another appraisal done I wasn't sure whether I was going to stay here or move to Washington DC to be closer to my son. I suffer from a brain injury when I was in the service and have trouble understanding things. The salesman talked me into signing some papers but told me I could cancel them with a phone call, which I made the next day after he left. I didn't hear anything more until January when I received a call asking me to ok a permit to do construction. I told that person I had canceled the transaction He said something like well we'll get our money anyway. I didn't hear anything else but started getting notices From Green Sky saying that they had a $6000.00 balance. I thought it was just another finance company try to loan me money. When I received a credit report claiming I owed them $6000.00, that is when I realized there was a problem. I will never do business with Pinnacle Exterior again. read more

Terrible! The crew guys were very nice. The work is shoddy. Siding corners are uneven. Drip edge not even over edge of sheeting at points. Debris everywhere. Dumpster left in driveway. This is Monday evening, work was " completed" Saturday. Material was left in yard. A skid and 2 big ass siding boxes?! There's big dead spots in yard from the dumpster machine,5,6,7 places in the yard from gas or oil. Pinnacle is Shit read more

I chose Pinnacle to put new siding on my home. I called and 2 days later had an appointment for someone to come out and give an estimate. Steve came, was extremely polite and courteous, on time, and down to earth. He did not try to "sell" me products or have a huge display or sales pitch, he simply was in tune to what I was looking for and gave me a price that day. The price was extremely fair. They started the job about 2-3 weeks later, took 4 days. the laborers were quick and efficient, friendly and respectful of my property- even my dog loved them! everyone comments on how great the new siding looks. I would recommend Pinnacle exterior to anyone looking to re-vamp the exterior to their home in a heart beat! 5 stars! read more
