Love Elmhurst Dermatology! Have been treated by Dr Bangash and Dr Davis, who are both exceptional! Been going here for 3 years now for the treatment of my acne rosacea, Botox and laser hair removal and can't think of a better practice to go too! They always take the time out to explain everything before treatment and answer all my Qs. Recommended it to my family members, who have also been very satisfied. The staff is friendly, eager to help with scheduling and fitting us in even on short notice. The office is always clean. They have been taking extra precautions, especially with all the covid concerns. Wonderful practice and would highly recommend! Surprised to read all the prior negative reviews of this place! read more

I go to this facility ONCE per year to fulfill my medication. And ONCE per year they fail and I have to continue to follow up with them over and over and end up weeks without medication. They sent me to Quest for labs on Monday. I went immediately after my appointment. Labs were ready Tuesday. They said they have access to the Quest system. Quest sent them the Labs AND they have access to the system, and I didn't hear anything. I called 3x and left 3 messages Thursday. No answer. No return calls. I called 2x on Friday and finally had to talk to a scheduler. She went into the Quest system and found the labs (MAGIC huh?) and then said "well no providers are here today so it'll have to be Monday". Another week without medication due to the sheer incompetency, and worse, INDIFFERENCE that this practice shows its patients. I'll be finding a new provider once they finally get me my medication. Enough is enough. They just don't care. read more

My mom had in-office surgery by Dr. Kramer, removal of squamous cell carcinoma. Assisted by Tanya, who was a nurse or PA, not sure. Procedure went well, mom is recovering. The office is on the second floor of an old, dated building. Rooms are small. But the care was good. They permitted a family member to be present, which was appreciated, as my mom is elderly and very hard of hearing. Everyone was kind to her, and I'm grateful to the team. read more

Pinnacle Dermatology - Dermatologists Near Me - Elmhurst, Illinois

Had been a patient of Dr. Davis for several years. Met with Dr. Kramer who has replaced Dr. Davis for the first time yesterday for my 6 month general check up. He was very friendly and very thorough in his examination. Explained what he was going to look for and had to do a biopsy as well as zap several areas. He also gave me information for a new treatment of an ointment which I will review before my next appointment in 4 months. Staff is wonderful and always helpful. read more

Will Not return! Reasons not to visit: 1) Received texts about wearing masks, showed up to the front doors being duck tape saying you can't use your hands use your arms on the handicap button to open the front door. Seemed very strict with Covid protocol but when I went inside front desk staff had no masks, neither did the nurses or some patients. Doctor removed his half way through. I don't care if you need masks or don't, but don't say it's mandatory to enter the building when it's clearly not! 2) Front desk staff unprofessional - eating and listening to hip hop while checking patients in. Gossip about exiting patients and their social plans for later. Didn't feel like I was in a doctors office! 3) Dark gloomy office and dirty. Room had bottles leaking and laying on the counters. Syringe hazard box full and not emptied. Just felt unkept and dirty! 4) Patient room had a computer that was unlocked so you could see the information on scheduling and patient names. Isn't this a breach of confidentiality?! Anyone could have clicked buttons for further info. 5) Staff is not very knowledgeable including the doctors can't figure out a diagnosis and just wants to jump into cutting your skin for biopsies. With the dirtiness of the place, I wouldn't want them touching me anyway. Walked out to never return!! read more

I used to see Dr Bangash but he left. I had a biopsy of a growth on my arm done by the Physician Assistant. 2 days later I could read the pathology report. I waited and waited for a call about the results. Never got one. After 3 weeks I called their office. Was told by front desk clerk that I needed excision surgery (I assumed it was cancer) so I tried to make an appointment but ended up hanging up without an appointment because they have no late hours for working people. I work in a doctors office. I am an RN and we would NEVER let this happen. We accommodate working people. I STILL have not heard back from Dr Davis or the Physicians Assistant about this . Im very angry and upset. Not good business practice. The front desk person just kept saying they are very busy. No appointment, ni call back. read more

Dr Bangash and his staff are absolutely excellent! I had a difficult to diagnose condition and he was spot on. I received several weeks worth of treatments and everyone in the office was great every time. Very friendly and accommodating. I was taken on time or early if possible. I would definitely recommend this practice for all dermatologic issues. Jodi read more

Once again I was impressed with the professional, friendly and efficient service of this practice. The staff makes you feel very comfortable, and Dr Davis is just super. He always takes time to talk and listen to his patients. He looked at a couple of moles and decided they should be removed, so he did it right then instead of needing to make another appt. He also froze a couple of spots on my face, again without needing to make another appt. Great MD and practice!! read more

My son had an appointment. No conversation on diet. No discussion on daily routine. Nothing about stress and other factors. Just jumping straight to an accutane prescription, the very expensive and dangerous oral treatment, and then pushing their in -house scar treatment. Know that he's not a severe case, so going straight to a very powerful and heavily side-effected drug is not appropriate treatment. This practice needs a review on holistic patient care. We are looking elsewhere. read more

Horrible "doctors", shady management and billing. They will steal from you at the first, and every chance they get. Definitely keep shopping. They are absolutely awful in every single way. Not even worth one star, but apparently that's the minimum. read more

I had a negative reaction to all the poison plants in the area after clearing an overgrown yard (ivy, sumac, oak) and had a horrible reaction. Dr. Davis was very thorough and understood the severity of the ailment. Thankfully he was able to provide a remedy for the issue and I was able to get relief quickly. read more

Every time I call to get my prescription refilled they say they will do it that day and every time they do not! I have to call several times and I always get a bad attitude. I am done with this place. read more

I am surprised to see such horrible reviews. But I guess people hardly ever write reviews when the service is great. I have been seeing Dr. Davis for about three years now and have really enjoyed having him as a doctor. I went through accutane treatment with him that took several months and he was very helpful through the process. The assistance and front desk women are also very helpful every time I go. I had an abscess on a very sensitive area (buttocks) and him and his assistants were very helpful and processional through the entire process. I have also been able to call in and get questions answered. Great times available for appointments as well. It's sad that there are such horrible reviews on here. But I have to say I am always upfront with him, very detailed, and I am very direct with my questions so I felt completely confident with him. Give Dr. Davis a chance. I will never go to another dermatologist again. Great guy! read more

I wish I could give no stars. He was in and out in 5 minutes. I hardly could explain my situation. He thinks he could diagnose me without hearing what I have be going through. He told me to get a prescription filled and come back in 3 weeks. I did not fill the prescription. I am not comfortable with any diagnosis he gave me. Dr. Davis was a waste of time and money. Find a dr. who is going to take the time to listen to you. I can't believe he has any positive reviews. read more

I had the same experience as Pam F. with Dr. Eng. I had never been to a dermatologist for a scan, and felt it was time. Although none of my primary care doctors ever seemed to think my moles looked suspicious, I thought it would be a good idea to visit a dermatologist. I have very fair skin and my father-in-law is dying of Melanoma currently. Our family is obviously sensitive about skin cancer right now, so I believed Dr. Eng when she told me I had to have 15 moles removed. She told me the same thing about not microwaving tea or coffee 2 times, and seemed really flaky. I ended up having 12 of the 15 moles removed before I stopped going back. At my third appointment, she had me wait in the room while she went to get something. She came back with a piece of an old patient's file folder who had the same initials as me because she thought I would want it. (!) She then had me write down my kids' names so she could give me file folders for them the next time I came in. Um. I wish I hadn't felt so vulnerable about skin cancer and believed her, because I'm pretty sure absolutely none of my moles would have raised any concern in most competent dermatologists. We ended up spending over $4,000 on this treatment. I sent a letter of complaint to the Medical State Board, and while I was waiting to hear anything back from them, Dr. Eng's office put our account into collections. This is after sending us one bill. Please do yourself a favor and stay FAR away from her. read more

This practice is chock full of unneeded procedures specifically unrelated to chief complaint. Came in for epidermoid cyst removal and ended getting multiple billable biopsies for minor arm patch nowhere near my cyst in crotch area. Be warned that they will also prescribe drugs and have them fillable ONLY ON SITE. After finally removing cyst (after screwing with needless arm skin biopsies), I was left with an untreated cyst sinus tract abscess that burst on the plane to Florida. They will charge your credit card MONTHS later for biopsies that they didn't process correctly. The things they get away with are unconscionable. And I am a former health care professional. Get treatment plan in writing and if they won't provide, look for someone else. RUN AWAY even if your PCP writes a referral. Get different referral. read more

My mom sent me here because she loved her service in getting all of her moles checked and one treated for suspicious growth by a male dermatologist. She wanted me to have all mine checked and documented early on to prevent any skin issues later. She set up my appointment after leaving hers and when I got there they started treating me for acne instead (which was incredibly mild as I already did accutane years ago), and when I corrected the issue they didn't change their service. I had a different dermatologist than my mom, and I walked out of there with 4 prescriptions in under 10 minutes of a "consult", and then got billed $291 a month later. We called to dispute since it wasn't even the service we asked for and they said they would call back to discuss when they could. They never called me, and instead harassed my mom's phone until she gave up and paid it. I am over 21 and there's no reason for them to be calling her over me for this bill. I gave 2 stars because if you want a quick prescription I'm sure they're useful for it, just not a pleasant nor accurate experience on my end. This is the exact reason I stopped going to dermatologists after accutane--they only prescribe and charge after little information. read more

I have been a patient of Dr Davis for 4 years. I go annually for a dermatological checkup. I highly recommend anybody who is concerned about skin cancer to see him. His assistants are top notch also. I have recommended all my friend to come to Elmhurst Dermatology read more

Dr. Davis is a great doctor. He is extremely knowledgeable and courteous. A great communicator who can make medical terms understandable. His staff responds well to any questions I have had after treatment. I've seen him for both medical issues and cosmetic laser removal of age spots and have always been very happy with the staff and the care I have received. read more

I made an appointment despite the 1 star review for this Dermatologist office as the office was recommended by my insurance. I am glad I did! I called the office to make an appointment as I had a weird bump below my ear. Elmhurst Dermatology was very accommodating and got me very quickly. I was very impressed with both Dr. Davis and the staff at Elmhurst Dermatology. I always have a lot of questions when I see doctors and sometimes doctors are not very patient with me. This was not the case with Dr. Davis. He took the time to answer all of my questions even though I had a ton of them! I highly recommend Elmhurst Dermatolgy for anyone looking for a dermatologist in the area. read more

My elderly father went in for some scitches recovered and happen to ask doc a question and the nature of the visit became a office visit. As we were leaving they said since he asked a question his visit now has a charge vs the stitch removal didn't ... hmmm I asked what changed he asked a question I'm like wow how shady is that a question turns a free appt into a payment ... as I asked all the staff was bunched up conversating about it which looked obvious and very unprofessional... if a question going to change a visit it should be told at the time ... taking advantage of a elderly person is abusive especially when they can't hear or understand... doc was nice staff was so unprofessional and rude will never go there again. read more

For the past two years I have been fighting a mysterious rash that comes and goes. I have seen various doctors, including my dermatologist, but decided to get a second opinion from another dermatologist. A went to see Dr. Ana Eng. Wow, that was a mistake!! Her nurse took an extensive history from me, I brought my past two blood tests results and pictures of what my rash looks like at its worst. Dr. Eng did not care. She walked in, asked me my age and told me I have sensitive skin, when people get older, their skin gets more sensitive. I told her what she was looking at was the aftermath after the rash disappears. She said, no you have a rash. She refused to listen to me. She told me what to do to treat sensitive skin. ie. shower only twice a week, wash hair once a week and only in the sink, soap only the "strategic areas", wash hands no more than 5 times a day, etc. She also gave me a few "public service announcements". Three times she told me holistic doctors say don't microwave tea or coffee - it causes cancer. Three times I told her I don't drink tea or coffee. She told me to write my name and phone number on the back of my cell phone in case I lose it. Not once did she listen or seem to care about me. Dr. Eng - it is time to retire!! I left in tears. What a waste of time. read more

I'm writing in response to the five star rating that was given to Elmhurst dermatology. And trying to understand their rating I've seen both dr. Eng and dr. Davis. Dr. Eng I think is a good diagnostician. The reason I stopped going to her was that she was longer covered in my insurance plan. But there was dr. Todd Davis also at Elmhurst Dermatology and he accepted many plans. Since I was already familiar with the office I went to dr. Davis. Big mistake. He completely misdiagnosed my condition and by the time it was diagnosed elsewhere my skin cancer it had spread. He kept giving me cortisone creams that only decreased my immune system and allowed the skin cancer to increase faster. If you are at all worried about him screening for a cancer please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. If you're only going to him for minor skin irritations or problems you might be ok but I still wouldn't chance it. read more
