She uses many different techniques: everything from the quicky jet-set facial, deep-pore cleansing, blemish relief, etc. to more clinical approaches such as dermaplaning. She also performs waxing - from brows to bikini. Semia is by far the BEST ever at performing dermaplaning [if you've never heard of or had before do your research first; it's an alternative to microderm and is not at all scary]. There are a few other estheticians in the area who offer dermaplaning; however, the level of education and experience required to perform it safely and effectively can only be gained over the many years of education and experience Semia has. I would never trust anyone else to place a scalpel on my face. And, the results...WOW! After my second treatment with Semia my mother-in-law said I looked 5 years younger since the last time she saw me. *Blush :) As if it could possibly get any better, the treatment includes a relaxing neck and scalp massage. Heaven. No hard, pushy sales. And her prices are very reasonable, especially for the superior quality of service she provides. Her entire goal is to make you look beautiful and feel happy! And when I left after my first treatment with her she highly succeeded in each! I am so happy to have found her! Semia is now my go to gal!

She's not just giving you a facial; she's bringing genuine expertise and a level of care you rarely find. She stays ahead of the latest in skincare, shares her knowledge freely, and actually pays attention to your skin, not a one-size-fits-all treatment. The results speak for themselves. Her studio is clean, calm, and exactly the kind of space you want to be in when someone's working on your skin. Every single service has left me feeling like I got exactly what I needed. I was super excited to get my first facial done, but I was worried my skin would hurt from extractions. I also was not sure what getting a facial done is like. Sarah actually made me feel so relaxed and pampered throughout the whole process! During my appointment, she asked if I would be okay with extractions. I felt so comfortable knowing she was interested in what I wanted instead of just going through the motions and treating me like any other customer. I had a Custom Facial done (which comes with a massage for your arms and legs); she catered the procedure toward my skin type/comfort and asked if I wanted any add-on services like an eyebrow wax. I did, and I liked the shape she made. The wax she uses is very gentle and did not irritate my skin. All the products she used were organic and smelled AMAZING. She asked about my skin's sensitivity to breakouts and inspected it to give me some tips following our appointment. She also introduced me to Eminence Organics Skin Care; I purchased a trial kit (~$50) with some of the products she used during my facial. Eminence has wonderful reviews online, and the products helped my overall skin texture/acne improve. She recommended I purchase a scrub or make a paste with baking soda to help my blackheads and T-zone, but it did not work well with my skin, so I discontinued that. I kept using the Eminence products and definitely recommend them. Yelp offers a coupon so I was able to get a decent price on the facial. Because I bought a trial kit of Eminence Organics Skin Care products, my total appointment price did run a bit high. However, that definitely is not a deal breaker for me. If you have the means and want to support a local business + invest in your skin, I really recommend you book an appointment with Sarah. My skin felt amazing afterward: soft, supple, and clean. The whole process was painless, and I felt so satisfied at the end. I will be back when I can! :)

Can I give a guy's perspective?…read more I've been to Spa at the Lake twice now, with my wife, and both times for pedicures. Guys, ya ain't lived a complete life until you sit in on one of these puppies. I probably wouldn't go do this by myself, but hey.. Sharon wanted to go.. so since the first time was great, why not? The second time was better. First off, they'll give you drinks and snacks, wine or water or soft drinks, whatever your pleasure. The first time, I took the wine. Next, they placed both Sharon and I in to the pedicure room where there was a couple comfortable reclining chairs and both times proceeded the service with a foot soak. If you opted for the wine, this part's gonna make your heart slow down to about 3 bpm. Next up, they're working your toes, nails and whatever else is attached. You're getting warm foot wraps, massages, paste-stuff that's like a melted minty wax. And by the time they're done with you, you've got some pretty happy feet. Extremely friendly, the feet-techs are always accommodating, professional and are core to an absolutely great experience. My wife is pleased and all smiles. I'm happy to hang out with her and the experience was awesome. They have hair salons and probably other areas that I haven't personally experienced. I've seen customers hang out on their deck overlooking a beautiful green-belt. It's pretty low-stress and makes for an awesome warm-up to head out to dinner afterwards. So, gals - this is a really nice place, relaxing music and atmosphere and all the customers seem to be pretty satisfied. Guys, definitely try it out. Head over there with your gals, or treat them to a special time on their own. I definitely recommend it. Makes for a happy home afterwards!

I was so excited to go see her until I found out her studio was in Dripping Springs! I live in Brentwood in Central Austin. Dare I cross the river for my skin? Yes, Gabby's skin looked that flawless. We are in our 50's, btw. I reached out to Marcie and we picked a good time for lighter traffic. I zipped right there and it really enjoyed taking a drive. Something I rarely do. Marcie had a lot of work to do. I was diagnosed with cancer in Feb.. After undergoing 6 weeks of radiation and two rounds of chemo I honestly look 100 years old. My skin is dry as a bone. To be honest, I don't even look like the same person. Marcie knew exactly what to do. She was so educational on skin after cancer, products to use and we now have a skincare program. I love a plan! My skin also looked amazing, Marcie is truly the best. I do not do much self care. This is now changing. Mico-needling, here I come. I booked a monthly appointment so I can get my special "less traffic" time. My skin looked so beautiful and hydrated. I would drive to Arizona to see Marcie. Skincare is truly her calling.
