The Pink Sleigh is such a magical place to visit in Westbrook. The Pink Sleigh is an old barn turned into a Christmas store. The outside looks like a cute little cottage, but the inside, it's Christmas! There's a massive tree, all lit up and with a blue theme of ornaments. I'm actually curious as to how this large tree made its way into this little shop, with its elf sized door. If you need a special ornament this is the place to go, there's so many unique ornaments at The Pink Sleigh. There's miniature trees across the whole store, and they're themed. One of them had birds and penguins, another one had food and candy, another one's all decked out with drinks, and another one got Santa. You can take the stairs upstairs to see more goods and the view from above. I got this adorable ornament that's Santa's suit with the captioning, "Gone to the beach, Love Santa" They packaged it beautifully in pink tissue paper and a really nice box. In addition to the wide variety of ornaments they also sell, tree skirts, Christmas lights, figurines and so much more. The Pink Sleigh is open late August to December 24th. During the month of December they're open everyday, prior to December on select days. This store is so magical, please stop by and see it for your self! read more

We love Christmas and this place does not disappoint. When you first arrive the place does not look all that big but once you open the door you are in a Christmas Wonderland. What a gem of a place, I think my girlfriend and I have found a new tradition. They have been open for 60 years and this was our first visit but definitely or our last. Essentially whatever theme you may have for your Christmas tree, they have the perfect ornaments for your tree. We had to drag ourselves away because we wanted so many different things. Just be warned that the owner can be rude or off putting.. chastise children before they even step foot in the shop and also tell you she didn't order and 'never had' an ornament you saw there (and have a photo of on your phone from your visit there). I've been going to this place since I was a little girl, it's incredible. Beautiful 2 story old barn filled with Christmas decorations. Nothing tacky, nothing that you would find at any department or big box store. It's filled with beautifully decorated Christmas trees, ornaments, train sets, caroler figures and everything else you can imagine. All the ornaments are little works of art, some made out of that thin metal from the 50s, lots of glass ornaments, and pretty much something for everyone. The sales staff is incredibly sweet and helpful, I can't believe this place only has one review!! Can't wait to go back this year and every year and eventually take my kids and grandkids here. I've lived in the area for 10 years.. drove by pink sleigh sooooo many times and said I gotta get there... I FINALLY made it last week... Black Friday!! I knew they had ornaments , but to my surprise they were wall to wall and 2 floors of pure Christmas spirit.. the feel reminds me of a bungalow/cabin you'd find in the middle of the forest only to be reached by sleigh!!! Best of all, everything is unique - it's not like most Christmas stores where the ornaments are all the same as you would find at Hallmark. It's a small barn, with a 2nd floor walkwalk around the walls of the second floor (leaving the center open for a gigantic tree decorated with theme-of-the year ornaments and lights). Bins and trees of ornaments sorted by theme - food/animals/occupations/sports/Babies/Nautical/music/wine, etc. Byers Carolers, German Smokers, Nutcrackers, miniature ornaments, Christmas pins, miniature Christmas music boxes, advent calendars . . . . they fit a LOT into that small barn! Not for very young children, unless you can hold their hands while browsing.
