I called on a Wednesday and while the girl who I spoke with did not seem to have the time nor interest to speak with me, I probed her with questions. I asked how much the succulent container pictured was. I heard her clicking in the background and told me the one pictured was the $40 one. I was very pleased. I said and I quote "that's *exactly* the one I want. " and while it felt like I was detaining her, I asked if it would have a bow because it was for my friend's 60th birthday. I tried to be very clear that I wanted exactly what I saw. She was in a rush to take my credit card info and after I provided it, I had to ask what my total bill would be with tax and the $10 delivery fee. Horrible customer service! What arrived at my friend's house two days later looked like it was from the discard bin in a supermarket floral department. Actually, I take that back. I could have gotten something much much this the nicer for the price at a supermarket. If the picture on their website was deceiving, and I don't think it was because I saw the number and variety of plants in it, I should have been warned. "This is only 6" big." I'm sooo embarrassed with this paltry and pathetic creation! read more

Of course this lovely arrangement included my favorite flower, orchids. The whole presentation of the flowers were beautiful, the way they were wrapped, the bight colors, how well the different flowers complimented one another. Absolutely breathtaking. I received a most beautiful, unique arrangement from a dear friend for my 60th birthday and was so excited that I took a picture and sent it to her with a big "Thank you." The picture did not do the arrangement justice and my friend (not knowing this) thought that I didn't receive something beautiful. Sometimes pictures aren't worth a thousand words! Long story short, I received a number of exquisite arrangements from MAR for my special day and was beyond delighted with each and every one of them. SO disappointed. After reading great reviews and seeing the beautiful bouquets I thought I had found a real winner. I placed an order - good. Owner (Marlee) responded to email request right away - good. She said she would have the bouquet delivered same day - good. BUT... my friend NEVER received the bouquet. Marlee's response to me was "I have confirmation that the order was left at the front door a little before 2 pm on the 14th, with a notice on the front door, and the worker at the house said would make sure the recipient received it. There is not much I can do at this point, we did everything we could to make your delivery on time and at the home." No offer to deliver a new arrangement or even credit me for the one that wasn't received. I think that is just BAD business. And it is really too bad because if handled properly she could have gained a loyal customer. read more

I have used this flower shop a couple times. I love the fact they are in the 21st century. First time I used them I walked, gave them a price and they put together an amazing bouquet. The second, I ordered online directly though the shop and they delivered in town. For a guy who does not know flowers, but a guy who like to send flowers they had my back. This place is ridiculous. I stopped in at 12:30 on a Friday to pick up some flowers to put on my mother's grave at the cemetery and was told that they only prepare pre-orders and that if I ordered now the flowers would be ready at 3:00 PM. What kind of a florist can't put a few flowers together for a walk-in? I went to Stop and Shop instead. I'd rather support a small business but hard to support this kind of management. read more

I had an almost identical experience as others have posted. Unfortunately, I should have heeded their warning and not called Mar Floral. The person I spoke with on the phone was incredibly rude and unhelpful. She was curt and very unwilling to answer my basic questions that were not answered on the website. She reluctantly took my order, rushing me through the process. When I said that I felt like I was bothering her to take my order she said ,"I have 4 people in line here waiting for me." When I suggested that perhaps she needs more help she blamed her lack of customer service on Covid. Covid is responsible for many things but not her lack of customer service, rudeness and unwillingness to take my business. I ended up cancelling my order because of this incredibly negative experience. But, she didn't seem to care that I had cancelled my $65 order. I hope others heed this warning and go elsewhere with your business. read more

Where do I begin with Marlee? First of all, I should start by saying that I promised Marlee I wouldn't change my mind at all about the floral design but then changed my mind a ton of times haha. That being said, Marlee was fantastic about helping me put all of my thoughts and changes together to form one specific design. She never got frustrated with my slight changes, but instead seemed to embrace them and get excited about them. About a week before the wedding, Marlee posted a picture on her Instagram of a small olive tree that I fell in love with and wanted as part of the centerpieces.. she advised me that they were very expensive individually but that we could improvise with olive branches instead for the same effect at a lesser cost and she did not disappoint! When I walked into the venue and saw everything that she had put together I was almost in tears it looked so incredible. She added little touches here and there with flowers that I had only mentioned in our conversations and honestly made all of my wedding floral dreams come true. I should also mention that the venue we got married at had preferred vendors so Marlee had only done a couple weddings there prior to mine.. not only did she make her way around the venue with ease but all of the "regular" vendors kept asking who the floral designer was and couldn't stop talking about how incredible everything looked. So, thank you THANK YOU Marlee, you did such an amazing job and it was so much fun to work with you! read more

Marlee did my wedding flowers (wedding was yesterday). I cannot begin to explain how incredible it was. I had a somewhat unusual request for all succulents and greenery instead of the traditional looks. She exceeded my expectations. Everything was beautiful and elegant and better than I could have imagined. First I was ordering flowers online, and one of their pop-ups appear regarding saving 20% if i enter my email. Ok I enter my email proceed with the order until it was time to Review and submit. When I look, there was NO discount applied. So I called, spoke with Karen and she apologize for the discount not being applied. She said she could help me with that, so I gave her all the info she needed. Now it's time to pay. I ask Karen could I pay a partial with a gift card and the remaining on my Credit Card, and she said as long as the gift card has an expiration date and security code on the back. So I gave her the gift card numbers and then my cc. She gave me my confirmation number. ok we disconnect because the call was over. I check my account and Karen charge the whole entire amount on my cc. I call back of course I spoke to another respresentive and she says you can't pay that way with 2 cards, so why the HELL Karen didn't know that. ALL CUSTOMERS SERVICE should be on the same page. If they can't rememeber what was train to them, give them a strip to read.So disappointing because the flowers were a best friend who pass away. Never again will i use this service. I love this local business. I come and get flowers about once a month and I am never disappointed. It can be on the pricier side but you are always getting what you pay for. Mar is young and stylish just like the flowers and trinkets she sells! I trust Mar to brighten up any occasion or even just to brighten my day and give me a little pick me up when I need it. This is also my stop when for when I need a little something sweet, I can't resist Tate's cookies!
