He said, "You won't even miss it." (I "miss it" every minute of every day.) I can't chew on that side. Then he gave me a $5000 estimate for an implant. The staff is very unprofessional and downright rude. The crown he made never fit well, he knew it, and it came off in two years and he refused to do anything about it. The good reviews are for the dentist who owned the practice prior to Dr Haws, read the name. All the negative ones are for Dr. Haws. This is the biggest medical regret of my life. Learn from my mistake!! You'll regret using him as a dentist.

We relocated to the area a couple of years ago and have put off finding a dentist until now. I just knew that I was going to get judged and reprimanded for avoiding the standard 6 month cleanings and check ups for so long. However, that wasn't the case at all. First, when I called and spoke with a lovely lady on the phone she was able to get my family members in the following day or very soon afterwards. (There are 5 of us). At my appointment this afternoon I felt that the Dr really took time with me and asked questions. My previous experience with dentists is that they come up behind you while you're lying in a chair with a mask on their face. They never spoke with me, did the drill thing and vanished. I couldn't pick them out in a line up. But, this Dr spoke with me and made me feel like my care was important to him. I was examined and my cleaning was awesome. Everything was explained to me in a way I could understand. I felt comfortable to ask questions. Everything on the billing looked correct and I even asked for a reprint of my daughters bill, she had been there the previous day, to submit for reimbursement to our FSA, and the nice lady at the desk did it with no problems. Class act in handling client experience! This was truly the worst dental experience I have ever had. I usually enjoy going to the dentist and having my teeth cleaned. And this was a borderline traumatic experience. To start, I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and didn't get taken back for my appointment until 15 minutes after my scheduled time. Two people that showed up after me got taken back before me. Then once my X-rays were finished, the Dr came in and explained that I needed a scaling, which was fine. HOWEVER, she did not warn me at all of what this procedure was going to be. First, the hygienist that did my cleaned was so rough on my teeth and gums that I wanted to jump out of the chair. She didn't introduce herself or have any chair side manner to speak of. Then, they begin this scaling and it was so incredibly painful. I had no warning of the pain that I might feel or options for local numbing or anything. It was horrible. The place itself looks run down, and old. And wasn't at all a comforting or inviting experience. The ONLY redeeming factor about this place was Levi, the tech who took my X-rays. He was warm, and kind.. just the thing you want at the dentist. I'm not sure what happened and why he wasn't my hygienist, though I did overhear that the woman who did my cleaning beat him to it, as if it were some sort of competition. I have never had any sort of dental fear or phobia, but after going to a place like this I realize why people do, and I realize how lucky I have been to always have great dentists. I will not be returning to this office. And I wouldn't recommend anyone who had dental fears step foot in this place.
