I have been here a few times for the cheap golf but will return no longer. The instant we walked into the pro shop the old guy behind the counter was rude and condescending. We got our cart and the course Marshall demanded to search our cooler and wouldn't let us on the course with it. I went to put it back in the car and his buddy in the pro shop came out and yelled at me accusing me of trying to sneak drinks into my bag (wasn't) and that they should kick me out. I get that they want to make money with their drinks but i was surprised at how unprofessional and rude the older staff members were. Greens were shitty too read more

Absolutely loved the course the only complaint is how busy it is since it's the only public course in Auburn. Loved the challenging water holes on the front 9 and the pro shop worker and course workers were very nice. Also the hole by the airport is very cool as the planes land and take off right over you and I can't wait to come back before it closes for a year sadly. read more

Horrible. No tee times. No marshals to encourage pace of play. Groups of 5 and 6 allowed off on Saturday. Alleged first come first serve. We showed up at 8 and didn't go off until 9:30. Quit after 5.5 hours and only on hole 13. read more

Shitty customer service. Waited 45 minutes for a cart after paying a stout amount to play and was getting jumped in line by groups of 5. Didn't feel wanted. JV operation overall and won't be coming back. read more

Been here a few times and have had a couple decent experiences. I'm not going to act like the course isn't awful. The greens are a joke and fairways are non existent, but my friends and I suck it up for the cheap prices every now and then. However, today my experience was completely unacceptable. The man who runs this place, for some reason, beliefs he can do whatever he wants. I don't care who you are you should treat customers with respect, and especially in the game of golf you show etiquette. Since this joke of a course doesn't offer tee times, me and some buddies showed up and played accordingly to the "first come first serve" policy. However, when we were just about to tee off after waiting our turn like everyone else. A group of about 9 carts pulled up in front of us, to the womens tees might I add, and begins to play. Just so happens that one of the guys was the owner of the place. Never in my life have I been to a golf course where the owner feels as if he can do whatever he wants at the expense of his customers, absolutely no respect at this place. Ironic that this happens at the worst course in the city, but that's just what you get at Indian Pines. If you are looking to play a round in the area, this place would be the absolute last place I would go to. Not only because of the low quality of the course, but the extreme low quality of the staff. read more

I had a good time playing despite the fact that the guys in the pro shop were jerks. I walked in with my brother, his girlfriend, and my boyfriend. The guy in charge made a snide remark about "all of us playing" and said that we need to "keep the pace" to not slow anyone down behind us. That's all understandable, but his delivery came off as rude and condescending. It would have been fine if it stopped there. My brother told them we would be scrambling to smooth things over. The guy then responded "I've seen some pretty slow scrambles". He just thought he knew we would suck because of the way we looked maybe?? or maybe because 2 of us were girls? This guy has never seen us before, nor does he know our golfing capabilities. It was just terrible. We were taking our time on the first hole, because there was a guy walking the course just in front of us. Someone (i'm assuming from the pro shop) came out and yelled that we needed to hit the ball. We didn't have any issues with people rushing us or thinking we were being slow after that first hole. It was just common curtesy after that, you know... how it's supposed to be. You wait on the group in front of you and get out of the way for people behind you. To sum things up, these guys are pretty sexist. You won't have any trouble if you're a guy wearing a golfing outfit. The course itself is nice and well kept. I had fun even though I was belittled at the beginning:) read more

Hard tee boxes, very slow greens, great staff, but there is one dude that is always very disrespectful. Came up on my group one time claiming we were horse playing on the golf carts, which was not true!!! Went out of his way to yell at us and cuss us out. Very unprofessional. Headed to RTJ in the morning to play a real course! The lady's in the snack bar bring them all the business for sure, they are very sweet. read more

I have never seen such an absurd disregard for respect to a customer in my life. I went in with my girlfriend to play 9 holes on and the middle aged man at the counter had a bad attitude to begin. My girlfriend and I were trying to ride together on a cart as I played through, while she drove. The man says this is not allowed, everyone has to have a separate cart even though we have been quarantined together for 4 weeks. I even asked if she didn't leave the cart or got a second cart, would it be okay and he snapped back and said no. At that point it was clear nothing would appease this loudmouth. Then she says what if I bring our extra set of clubs even if they're the wrong handed and try to play, but still no. Now this older gentleman who I presume also works at the clubhouse got into a loud verbal altercation with the man behind the counter on our behalf due to the fact that he said they DID admit another couple in a situation JUST LIKE US. But I guess there's special treatment going around this terrible establishment. I didn't argue or anything, just respectfully grabbed my bag and left, but while leaving hearing an even louder verbal altercation between the two workers over the fact that I would not be allowed to play that day. Over priced for a not very good course. Greens are poor. Groundskeeping staff does not know proper golf etiquette. I played today with a noon tee time, and when we reached the 6th green, there was someone cutting the grass on and around the green. I politely asked him multiple times to please pause his cutting for 2 minutes so that we could finish out our hole, but instead he looked right at me and ignored me. Unacceptable for any course. read more
