Lived in this complex for over 4 years. Things were great for many years until the newest pair of "professionals" started working on the property....
The admin is not educated on how to properly manage a property. She is hardly ever seen out of her office. If you have an issue, you had to call in because of the COVID, problem is she hardly ever answers her phone. Will call you back several days later, if she remembers. She doesn't properly take notes on issues that need to get fixed in an apartment and "loses" or "forgets" what you had requested be fixed. She acts as though it is her property, with no respect to renters rights. If you have a problem she doesn't agree with she kicks you out of the office and threatens to end your lease. Not very professional. If a complaint is made against you, she doesn't listen to the whole story and goes based off of what the first person says. Let alone the fact she doesn't understand what confidentiality means and will air your personal business with anyone that walks in. She'll even call and tell someone that isn't a resident at the complex!!!!
There had been issues with the lawn maintenance company doing there job, as well as, they blow everything onto your porch. After several complaints and the management not doing anything about it, I took it into my own hands and raked my front area and started moving it away from my place. At that point, the lawn people actually started blowing it away from the buildings. At that point, the "maintenance" guy, decides to half-ass rake up parts of the complex, meanwhile, still leaving trash on the ground around the complex.
This guy spends more time sitting on people's porch and talking then he does work. Gutters are over filled and need to be cleaned out. (Had to clean my own after repeatedly asking for them to be done. And the day I did them myself at 3:30 in the afternoon, the "maintenance" man was sitting on a residents porch drinking coffee the whole time. There is a lot of drainage issues and spots that become lakes with the littlest amount of rain, most of the issues could be fixed if the "maintenance" guy actually picked up a shovel or bag of mulch and did some work.
Recently he laid out grass seed AND THEN decided to half-ass rake up the complex, meanwhile, he has residents watering the grass (because they are too cheap to fix the sprinkler system already laid out) off the tap of their buildings', then the company goes back and raises the price on water for everyone in the unit because the "water usage is going up".
When I first moved in, the place was over priced but I needed a quick move-in. Rent goes up every year, and there are NO AMENITIES! No pool. No playground. You get in trouble if you hang-out in "common areas". One broken picnic table for the residents to sit at. You see people constantly pulling in, that don't live there, and doing drug deals.
Not worth the money, nor the hassle to live there. My advice: find a different place to live. Or if you live there, take plenty of pictures and videos, like I have. Make copies of the harassing letters from management that come with no substantial evidence attached, just hearsay. read more
