They were so helpful and did a great job of explaining how to adjust our boots, ensuring everything fit properly, and overall were so kind and accommodating. Rental process was very quick and easy. I rented my skis from a different shop in Sac and the customer service was truly day and night from my experience - I wish I just went here instead! Their rentals are also great quality, they have newer skis and boots (and from what the owner informed us, they replace skis every 3 years, tops) hence why everything appeared to be in such great condition. It is a helpful place to grab things if you are passing through the area. Unfortunately, the service experience left a bad impression. I overheard the owners talking negatively about customers after they thought they had left, just because those customers asked a simple question and were not locals. That felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. Overall, the store has what you need, but the customer service and attitude could definitely be more friendly and respectful toward everyone.

The bathrooms needed cleaning and re-stocking. There were 3 employees inside, 1 was doing all the work, the other 2 were standing around and basically useless, Jake and Francesca. I saw a woman letting her 3 dogs poop outside, and came in to let them know. It's a national park, a hot day, and also it deters - or attracts- wildlife. So, enough reasons to go and tell this woman to pick up her dog poop. The tall, brown haired employee, Francesca, basically shrugged her shoulders and said she wasn't going to do anything about it. She was sooooo condescending and dismissive. Jake gave me a thumbs up and didn't say a word. These two should not work here. It's really disappointing being in such a gorgeous place as Yosemite National Park, and knowing you care more about it than these careless employees.
