I go home I prep the ground plant the tree i take the tags off find one with a price of 179.00. I go back i ask a legitimate question wasn't rude at all and was told that's the price they paid, we should probably take them off. So I'll post the pic of my receipt and the 2 tags you make your own assumption. However, I will not be returning.

They thoughtfully packed our car full of our plants and even switched out a pumpkin we chose when we discovered it had a bad spot. The sales here are really wonderful- you get a significant markdown for their "club price" and then we scored some other big markdowns since we shopped later in the season. Their plants are always looking healthy as well. The best part is all of the tips and knowledge about plant care that the Natorp's staff are prepared to share. That has really helped us successfully care for our new plants. And if any don't thrive or die, you can speak to them about care and even get a replacement or refund if the plant fails within a year. It's worth the drive out to Mason for us, because of all these wonderful details and more!

I went with my family, and we walked around the outdoor nursery for a little while. My one year-old had fun playing in the gravel. I do not know much about the average cost of plants to know if the deals were good or not, but the plants themselves looked healthy and vibrant. I shopped for some groceries inside and was honestly disappointed to find so few local products. Because it is a farm market, I guess I just anticipated more things from local farms. I definitely found some! Just not as much as I was expecting. And then I was shocked at some of the prices. I understand being a local business can be tough and expensive, but sadly the prices were high enough that I I don't believe I would go out of my way to return, but would stop by for some produce if I was in the area. I will say that I bought one of the best watermelons of my life. It was just a quarter wedge, pre-cut. It was perfect in every way. My baby and I ate the entire thing in one sitting. They also had some produce that is not as normal to find, such as yellow, zucchini, and passionfruit. I grabbed a yellow zucchini because it was big and robust and bright yellow, and I had never tried one before. Oh! They also had a good price on beets-- which were legitimately three times the size of those at chain grocery stores.

I was very disappointed by my experience when I called to inquire about landscaping design and…read moreinstallation. After learning that I lived in Madisonville (they did not ask for my address, just asked what part of town I lived in), less than ten minutes away, I was told they are only servicing Blue Ash and Montgomery due to limited designer capacity (one designer at the moment). As a business consultant - I understand managing resources. But this does not make business sense. Set a radius if you must to be efficient, and work up to your capacity. But restricting service by neighborhood rather than actual proximity feels unnecessarily exclusionary. I likely live closer than many of their customers in Blue Ash/Montgomery. This policy gives the impression that certain neighborhoods (the wealthy) are being prioritized - what a bad look. Also, please post your policy up front - I regret spending the weekend at the garden center with your sales team, only to learn today that you will not work in my neighborhood. What a waste of my time.

The staff are helpful and the prices are definitely reduced, but the items in the store usually have scratches, dents, or other flaws. That being said, you can often find items that you can easily patch yourself or display in a way that minimizes the damage, if you're okay with that. I was nervous to visit during the pandemic, but we wanted to visit since we've been remodeling our house during the lockdown. The staff greeting shoppers outside were friendly and had hand sanitizer for everyone. They provided recommendations for social distancing in-store and explained when large item pick up would be. Once we got into the store, however, the idea of social distancing was out the window. Everyone had a mask on, but there were constantly people all around me, in the narrow aisle ways, squeezing past instead of taking a way around that was clearly available but would require a few more steps. I felt relatively uncomfortable and unsafe inside. As far as the products for sale go, they have a great variety -- chandeliers, lamps, sheets, curio cabinets, chairs, sofas, dining tables and chairs-- you name it! The prices are deeply discounted and the store even runs sales on top of the low prices. I found a unique lamp, a dining room chandelier, a laundry room light, and a chandelier for our rental property. Overall, my experienced at the Ballard Designs outlet was successful in terms of shopping, but the social distancing was lacking, so I felt nervous being there.
