We were plant novices and they basically gave us a beginners' course on easy-to-care-for plants. We wound up getting a few plants, new pots and fertilizer. They repotted our new plants and helped carry them to my car. Sure, they were a little more expensive than a big box store but no big box store is going to spend time educating you on the choosing of and care for the right plant and then repotting before you take them home. They had a lot of soil and soil add-ins like perlite and various repotting tools and pots...I think anything most plant parents need. It's 1 year later and the plants are doing well despite being neglected for long stretches of time. Thank you to the staff who helped us pick these hardy plants.
