It's a bit of a commute for us, but its worth it for my kids to feel loved and happy. Shout out to Ms. Janet, who has been there longer than we have. She is so kind, generous, and always gives us a nice anecdote about their day. Any concerns are handled quickly and I love that I don't have to pack them lunches! My child started there in May and in the Infant A classroom everything went well. He bonded with his teacher, had a great time with the other kids and seemed to thrive. Then he moved up to the Infant B room and slowly we noticed things start to slip. Our son never seemed to be with the same teachers in the afternoon, he started to get fed at more irregular intervals. Despite telling the teachers in his classroom about our desire for a more regular schedule for several weeks, things would only get better temporarily. Our son would come home fussy and hungry. Finally, one day our son went five hours between feedings and we were so upset we brought it up to the director who brushed off our concerns and never once apologized for the incident. We decided immediately to move our son to a new daycare. Don't waste your money. There are more affordable and better run daycares out there.

I posted the same review in a military page as we are a military family that used a military subsidy. There were so many responses from other families going through the same issues. While the Primeron can reply to my review saying they've "strengthened and improved their communication" it is apparent from hearing from other families they haven't. Responses to Yelp reviews are purely for their image as admin at the Primeron does not respond nearly as fast or as professional to attending families.

In particular, the director, Kaela, has been responsive, approachable, and genuinely invested in building strong relationships with families. She has taken the time to listen to concerns, make herself available when needed, and even helped establish a parent partnership group (similar to a PTO), which has been a meaningful way for families to stay engaged and connected. Like any organization, occasional issues may arise, but in our experience, the leadership team has handled matters professionally and with care. Some concerns (such as those related to voucher programs) may be tied to broader administrative systems rather than the on-site leadership. I have great relationships with many family members, and have never had issues making my payments, via the Daycare Family Works app. We can tell that Kaela and the leadership team prioritize and value family partnerships: this is why they have connected parents together through family days, created summer camps, spirit weeks, and a parent partnership group. I plan to be a part of the Primeron family until my child ages out! Overall, we feel supported, valued, and confident in the care our child receives. We appreciate the dedication of the staff and leadership team and are grateful to be part of this community.

They had no openings then. This means that they have had my info lying dormant for 8 years which I signed nothing agreeing to. I've gotten married, changed my name and had another baby since. None of this would have been an issue if the rep didn't respond in a suspicious tone when I provided my name. Instead of saying, "hey, I see you may have inquired about our center in the past, have you had a name change or gotten married?' It was more of a tone that conveyed suspicion. Just a weird interaction altogether. When I brought it to the attention of the rep she began to raise her voice and ask for even MORE personally identifying information. Lady I just want to know if you have any openings to start! May be a nice center maybe not, I would never know thanks to this initial interaction.

I love the cottage system - it really sets the school apart. Most of the school has received new furniture (including the new loft!) and it looks amazing. Ms. Melissa and Ms. Hanna are amazing leaders who listen and pivot when needed. They really listen; the moral compass of the school is the child. Your child will experience natural learning in a real way. They are only young once; why not give them the best experience they possibly could have?

Their communication has been excellent and they take great care of our son. We particularly like the SproutAbout app which provides regular activity updates on everything from bottle feeding to activities which makes us feel like we are involved even while away and provides a sense of security in understanding what transpires during the day. Warning to parents about school's Hickory Ridge campus: On several occasions when our child was in…read morethe care of a classroom aide, particularly when the lead teacher was absent, our child came home visibly upset--this was unusual given how typically happy and loving our child is. Our child would often share concerning incidents involving the aide, such as being unfairly singled out, including having food taken away. The most alarming moment came when the aide told our child, "don't tell mommy and daddy" about something that happened, which caused fear and hesitation in sharing further. When we reported these issues to the administration, they dismissed our concerns and defended the aide's actions. After consulting both a pediatrician and a childhood psychologist, they both flagged the aide's behavior as a serious concern and advised us to remove our child from the school. Despite this, the school has yet to address the incident and continues to support and employ the aide. While there are wonderful teachers at this school, the administration's defense of harmful practices leads us to advise against enrolling your child here.
