Good price to get dairy products and snacks. Ice cream is milky and "sticky". In terms of ice cream flavor, strawberry is nice and not overly sweet. Salted caramel is a little disappointing. The bonus is you can pet the cows and watch them getting milked at the assigned time.

You get to pet baby cows need I say more! They also have Ice Cream that was delicious and baked goods etc. BUT the cows!!

Sadly I may have had the best scoop of mint chocolate chip ice cream in my life. And I've tried a LOT of places. But they are 2000 miles from my home. I'll be back! Actually went back for a second scoop with chocolate peanut butter. Also delicious!!! You won't get any fresher milk than at the dairy itself.

You have GOT TO try this place's ice cream! It was so creamy and rich that I'm still thinking about it weeks after! They offer a variety of flavors that all looked amazing honestly. I had their Strawberry cheesecake and it was SO GOOD! Their prices are on the higher side. A small cup starts at $2.99 and a small waffle cone starts at $4.49. It wasn't until after I ordered did I see that they offered a sampler option for $5.99 where you can choose up to 4 flavors. I should have done that. Much regret thinking back lol. They also sell milk and other goodies inside their store. While we were eating our ice creams, we saw a lot of what it seemed like locals coming just to pick up milk which says a lot about the milk they sell! We didn't get to pet any calves. Before coming here, I had read that there may be calves to pet but we were sad that the calves weren't around when we visited.

Pine View Dairy is located outside of Lancaster and it's a great place for ice cream! They make their ice cream in house and sourced from their Holstein cows. Waffle cones are also made in house. The ice cream had thick but creamy consistency! We all ordered small waffle cones, and in my opinion Pine View gave a generous amount for a small! If you're a coffee flavor fan, then make sure you order Espresso Oreo Caramel, it's delicious! There's plenty of outdoor seating and a viewing of the cows!

We get milk here every week or two! On occasion we get treats (baked goods, bagels, ice cream) and they're all delicious and locally made too! Staff are friendly and they're good at efficiently managing the ice cream crowd on nights when it gets busy. You can see the baby cows (calves) outside and pet them too. There's also a view of the milking area so if you get there at the right time you can watch the staff milk the cows. The side patio and front porch have nice places to sit and relax. Surrounding farmland views are nice too.

Loved this little shop. The ice cream was great and so was the chocolate milk I got in the little store. This place was phenomenal. I'd be here all the time if I lived closer!

Pine View has the best ice cream around, hands down! I would travel from far, far away just to have this ice cream.

Mostly it's where we stayed (shoutout to Airbnb), but also it was the fun and different experiences/places we visited around the Intercourse/Lancaster area like Stoltzfus Meats. This store doubles as a place to eat at as well as a spot to get plenty of (I bet you can guess) meats to cook up in the privacy of your own home. Normally, a place like Stoltzfus might have been somewhere we may not have even ventured into, but wanting to spend as much time in that aforementioned Airbnb, we saw the great Yelp score of this spot and what it offered in the way of food to cook, and so Stoltzfus was visited with a meaty mission in hand. What does Stoltzfus offer (beyond just saying meat)? Well they really do have a massive selection of different types of steak, pork, chicken, and even some non-meat meals (pizzas, mac and cheese, etc.). Some items come frozen which would have worked well for us had we been staying longer than a couple of days, but we decided to hit up the counter and get some fresh uncooked items that we could make for dinner (and breakfast). Once being helped (which was quick as there were many people working) the staff member was friendly (albeit we had a little confusion about the amount of sausage types we could buy) and we were able to purchase a few different flavored-sausages, some macaroni salad, and some breakfast sausages to make the next morning. After grabbing these we looked at some of the prepackaged meats and found some marinated chicken strips to get as well. Once back at the Airbnb, we cooked everything up and the meats definitely were tender and flavorful. The macaroni salad was also pretty solid. Though nothing blew me away, the meal we made was great for the price we spent. Best item was probably the breakfast sausages we had the next morning. They were a maple apple flavor and dang were they delicious. Overall, Stoltzfus Meats did the trick for our little Airbnb getaway. Perhaps not a place we would have ventured to if not staying in a location that warranted some potential cooking, I am still glad we got to experience Stoltzfus and would definitely return if we did end up back in that part of the Pennsylvania state with the need to make a meal. Even if I physically don't come back, I know my mind will at least continue to return here!

Since it's been some time since I last shopped here, it was a treat browsing all the vendor stands and seeing what foods are available. As a garden/flower enthusiast, you know I had to check out the flower stands like Perfect Pots and Inspirational Blossoms, both with fresh blooms. For lunch, after a taste test, I opted for Soulcialze, which provided generous portions of mac n cheese, collards, beef brisket, and cornbread. Tables are provided for lunch or snacks, but we had to wait a few minutes because none were available. At Lancaster Central, you can expect a friendly atmosphere in this beautiful historic building, where the local community shops and supports. I usually secure parking via parking apps at the Hager lot or one of the two nearby parking garages.

That's because on our visit, three of the parking garages bordering the market were full, and by the time we found street parking (you'd better polish up your parallel parking skills) it was close to a 30-minute stroll to this historic landmark. The market goes way back--all the way to 1730--when local farmers rolled into town with whatever they'd harvested and sold it in what was then just an open field in the center of the growing community. Today, it is home to over 65 vendors selling fruits & vegetables, meats, poultry, fish & cheeses, fresh baked bread, pretzels, pierogis, handmade dishes, smoothies, flowers, hot coffee, sweet treats, and even pickles. We had a blast wandering through the crowded aisles and picking up a few odds and ends. If you love jerky and meat sticks (as I do), you will walk out with a ton of goodies (as I did).

I told my wife, let's break tradition and serve something different for Thanksgiving. Instead of a supermarket ham, let's buy a smoked ham from the Amish country. I found online S. Clive Weaver. I called the store and spoke with the manager. I asked about the store hours as well as Thanksgiving Ham. (I'm thinking it's going to be a blood bath, 1000 people running into the store screaming HAM!) The manager assured me this is not the case, there will be plenty of boneless, smoked ham for us to choose. We pulled up to, it seems like a mini supermarket. Once inside, it felt like when the Wizard of Oz went from Black & White to color. There is EVERYTHING one would need for a holiday dinner. The first thing I noticed was the beautifully arrangement of baskets. There were multiple sizes of meat and cheese baskets, I never had a sweet salami? The blocks of cheese, were cubed and served to our Thanksgiving guests. Everyone loved the unique flavors that are not regional to where I live. They also had a pie station with many different flavors of homemade pies. I brought home a Shoo Fly Pie? Filled with the warm spices of the holiday, another hit with my Family. Now for the Ham, there was a wall of ham! Ham everywhere. I chose a hefty porker, it was very easy to cook. Again, everyone loved the flavor of the smoked ham that I snuck across state lines. S. Clive Weaver, it was a pleasure to shop at your establishment.
