I am not a fan of ice cream and went inside the store where there were fresh baked goods, nuts, fresh milk and other fun food items. I found some peanut butter flavored donuts and they did not disappoint. They were light and airy and not too sweet, delicious. I also was happy that they sold fresh bananas which I ate with my donuts. My friends enjoyed their ice-cream in a waffle cone. I had their Strawberry cheesecake and it was SO GOOD! Their prices are on the higher side. A small cup starts at $2.99 and a small waffle cone starts at $4.49. It wasn't until after I ordered did I see that they offered a sampler option for $5.99 where you can choose up to 4 flavors. I should have done that. Much regret thinking back lol. They also sell milk and other goodies inside their store. While we were eating our ice creams, we saw a lot of what it seemed like locals coming just to pick up milk which says a lot about the milk they sell! We didn't get to pet any calves. The ice cream had thick but creamy consistency! We all ordered small waffle cones, and in my opinion Pine View gave a generous amount for a small! We get milk here every week or two! On occasion we get treats (baked goods, bagels, ice cream) and they're all delicious and locally made too! Staff are friendly and they're good at efficiently managing the ice cream crowd on nights when it gets busy. You can see the baby cows (calves) outside and pet them too. There's also a view of the milking area so if you get there at the right time you can watch the staff milk the cows. The side patio and front porch have nice places to sit and relax. Milkshakes are on point, and although there prices are a bit steep they have very good ice cream, and very friendly staff.

This place has great ice cream. They don't have raw milk products but their ice cream is very delicious. It's very thick and not too sweet. The vanilla has a beige tint to it unlike the other bright white ice creams which is new to me. The girl( Nicole Richie look alike) was so friendly. You have to order and pay at the window outside . Aside from milk and ice cream, I'm no a fan of some of their other products. In particular, undated packaged bulk foods (banana chips, corn nuts) we bought were stale, and refrigerated foods (Lebanon bologna/cream cheese rollups) can be "off"--tossed out the window on the ride home after one bite. Been going here for years when I'm in the area. Who doesn't love fresh from the farm homemade local ice cream? They have a small store with some other items but are known for their ice cream. On the premises is the farm where the cows live. Depending on the time of your visit you can view the milking process which is encouraged. The baby cows are also housed so they are accessible and are a favorite with the kids. Just watch out because they love to lick and chew on pant legs! An outdoor hand wash station, port a potty, hand sanitizer and a few tables/chairs are all outside for lingering patrons. My only gripe is the location. There is nothing nearby so going to Pine View Dairy would be your destination. read more

Our final stop was Pine View Dairy, and I'm now as regular a customer as I can be considering I live and hour and a half away! The star of this dairy is the ice cream. The cones are super super cheap, and the ice cream is amazing. It's all made from super fatty milk, so it's some of the creamiest ice cream you'll ever eat. They also sell all of it in quarts and half gallons, so you can take it home with you to share with the family. Just realize it melts a lot quicker than store bought ice cream! In addition to ice cream, they also sell other dairy products like cheese and milk (in plastic bags, not cartons or jugs). But then they also have a few aisle of pretty random other foods. And by random, I mean everything from pasta to jello, except with nothing in between. I'm not sure what the theme is for the rest of the store, but frankly, I don't care.
