Even though we stopped in close to closing time, the owner never once made us feel rushed or like an inconvenience. She was incredibly welcoming, kind, and happy to have us there. This is exactly the kind of local shop I will happily return to again and again, not just to continue exploring the endless stacks of books, but to support and see the wonderful people who run it as well.

I thought it was just ok but I would still recommend folks checking it out once if you're in the area and a fellow book lover. There is mixed used and new books. I don't mind but would prefer for the used books to be it's own selection. There were also book things which was nice to browse but definitely boutique pricing. There was a super friendly dog here when I visit that was the highlight of my visit!

Truthfully, the friendly nature and big smile of the employee there was what made this bookshop visit so pleasant. The store has a small selection of new fiction books, but around three rooms of gently used books as well.

The sweetest people, the best coffee, constantly changing monthly specials. I am usually a big…read morehater of the monthly special - I like what I like and I don't like when my favorites disappear. That's how I felt back in end of March/early April when I had 3 Lucky Leprechaun coffees. And then in May, came the banana pudding. July was red white and huckleberry blue. And now here we are in September with the Apple Cider Donut Chai and the Pancake Latte. I LOVE that this month there's a chai-specific option that can be made hot for the autumn girlies who love to be cozy. I do not like maple flavored things or pancakes, and I'm obsessed with that latte after my partner got it and I stole half of it. The books are cute, the vibes are immaculate clean beach aesthetics, the books are the perfect impulse buy for people on vacation. Try the specialty lattes, I promise there's at least one every month you'll like (I don't think I've had one I didn't actually). I can't wait to see what they do with hot coffees in their first winter here!! I legitimately wait every month for their new flavors. My only "critiques" would be there's no bathroom - not great for kiddos who get those yummy chocolate chip cookies on their little hands in a book store - and that the monthly menu always comes out about a week into the new month - but inconsistently - so sometimes it's sooner or later. It would be nice to have a more specific day (even if it's like the 6th of every month or something random).

Woven between the books are shelves dedicated to local treasures. The vanilla latte avoids the common trap of tasting like a cup of warm, liquefied sugar. It starts with the rich, buttery warmth of the vanilla aroma, immediately followed by the bold, nutty, and slightly chocolatey spine of the Southern-roasted espresso. It is creamy, perfectly balanced. Cheers!
