It was "colder than a ticket taker's smile..." as Tom Waits might sing, but the fellow working here didn't let his gout stop him from trimming the base of the tree and tying it to the top of my car. I also got a nice potted evergreen plant and a warm feeling in my heart even though I'm more of a Festivus guy than a Christmas celebrant.

I asked the bloke there (don't know his name) if he could do a $15 bouquet and in about five minutes he whipped something together for me!
