When I got (likely too rashly) angry with them for not passing me for a steering issue that I had last year they passed me for, I told them I was going to rate them low. The main reason I was so mad is because of how loudly he announced the issue with all the other customers around sharing my private business and when I said I'd just go somewhere else the condescending tone with which he spoke to me had me very unhappy. At this point, I wasn't yelling. I asked them if they kept records of the past times they have passed. they said they did. I told them they passed me last year and I had that issue. Anyway, when I said id leave a bad review, one of the guys responded with "great SFA student." I said "Im not a student anymore, I graduated." His response was "Well you obviously didn't learn anything." That's when I started yelling. And when I began to record, the dude literally lied and denied having said what he said about me not having learned anything. then proceeded to call the cops because he asked me to "leave his property" because I was "causing a scene." More like "didn't want me to make him to look bad." read more

Never have a problem here when I take my car to get inspected. What I like about it is how fast he gets it done. Always so nice too.

I've never had a problem here. The proprietor charges the state-mandated fee for a state inspection. The business only performs state inspections. They move vehicles through quickly, so even if there are some in line ahead of you, you won't have to wait too long. As far as the review stating, "pay in advance and prepare to fail," the State of Texas requires that you pay the fee for the inspection - pass or fail. And when you consider the de minimis criteria set forth by the Texas DPS, it's really not too much to ask: 1. Horn; 2. Windshield wipers; 3. Mirror; 4. Steering; 5. Seat belts; 6. Brakes (including parking brake); 7. Tires; 8. Wheel assembly; 9. Exhaust system; 10. Exhaust emission system; 11. Beam indicator; 12. Tail lamps; 13. Stop lamps; 14. License plate lamps; 15. Rear red reflectors; 16. Turn signal lamps; 17. Head lamps; 18. VIN; 19. Gas caps; and 20. Window tint. Now that Texas is transitioning to a single-sticker program, if you need help getting the gunk from old stickers off your windshield, be sure to ask Ken about his "secret ingredient" to remove glue! read more

This family run inspection place is the best. I've been bringing different vehicles here for years and they always give the best service. They prefer cash so have your $7 and insurance card handy. They only do state inspections so you're in & out before you have time to sit down. They're knowledgeable about out of county forms and all bulbs, wipers, etc. I'll keep going to Pine Tree and taking all of my family's cars there. read more

Pay in advance and prepare to fail. Save your time and go somewhere else. You can tell how the office is littered with signs telling you what not to do that this guy is a control freak. Also he was in such a hurry to fail me, he forgot to give me my insurance card back. read more

Do not take your vehicle here. We took our 1954 custom pickup to be inspected. He scratched the hood opening it and blamed it on us. Just not worth the head ache. read more

This place is horrible and will fail your inspection for things that have nothing to do with the safety of the vehicle. He failed mine because I have the e-brake indicator light stuck on in my dash. I have never failed because of this anywhere else I have gone for inspection. How does that make my car unsafe?? I would not recommend anyone to go here. read more

We take our vehicles here every time. Mr. Jones is professional, and he moves people through quickly. He only does inspections. The signs he has posted around the office (no using cell phones, sign in to get in line, come out when the bell rings) give directions to customers help to keep things running efficiently. read more
