One of the most exciting parts was crossing the river several times. In some places there were bridges, and at one point we had to carefully balance across a log, which made the hike even more fun and memorable. We visited in April, and there was still a little snow on the trail. The weather was beautiful, but I would recommend bringing traction spikes if conditions are slippery and hiking poles for extra stability. The waterfalls were spectacular, and the scenery along the trail was breathtaking. It was a perfect mix of adventure and natural beauty. I'm sure I'll return one day with my kids to experience it all again.

My daughter had a memorable 2 summers at the camp that is offered for children. There is a nice space for children to play poolside with a sand box area. Our Golf lessons were very productive. My husband improved greatly and is obsessed with golf now...before I know it I will be a golf widow...*chuckle* It is secluded and 20 minutes away from town perfect for retreating. The amenities are for club members only and family of. If you can afford it the place is looking to have tons of potential. They have two 18 hole courses the Nicklaus and Fazio ready to challenge any player at any level:)

This is one of my favorite campgrounds in the Cascade Lakes area. It is pretty far from Bend, but…read moreworth it if you have the time. The campground itself is pretty similar to what you might find at the other Hoodoo ran campgrounds, though it always feels a bit cleaner than the rest. The sites come with running water, shared bathrooms, picnic tables, fire rings, and a parking space. You will want to bring plenty of cash for the fees and if you bring more than one vehicle you will need to pay extra. This campground is right next to the lake and has an awesome trail that runs around the perimeter of the lake. There is a boat ramp at the end of the lake and if you just have paddle boards and kayaks you can just launch them right by your campsite. In addition to the boat ramp, there is a very nice shallow swim area. This has a gradual slope that allows the sun to warm the water up pretty fast. Overall I would say that this campground is slightly nicer than the other campgrounds in the Cascades, but the location is what really pull it up to five stars. When I have the time and money, this is my preferred campground.

There were lots of people trail running, many walking the paved path, it was such a fun way to get a look at the city.

Valet trash service. A storage shed for your toys- The clubhouse is well appointed: pool table/popcorn/TV/fire pits/corn hole/hot tub/sauna The desk is staffed until 10pm There is a small sundrys store and ice is available for purchase. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the policy of kids under 14 needing to be accompanied by an adult in the clubhouse areas We were in site #432e. The site is situated in the end near a fence. Across from the fence is a pretty busy road. The site itself is wide. Tricky getting. If the site next to you is occupied. We backed into the spot next to us to turn around then backed into our spot. Otherwise you would be backing down the whole way. No wood fires allowed $$$

Came to stay at this RV park and we found there was some incompetency with communication and…read moremanagement. First we were under the impression there were gas fire pits at our spaces. There weren't fire pits at all in the area we were staying. Also I went to use their restroom and they changed the code and didn't tell us in advance. I went to get the new code from the office and there was a sign on the door that said they wouldn't be back for 15 more minutes. Needless to say, I didn't make it back to my RV in time and had an accident. To add insult to injury, when I went to complain, the management said they sent an email to everyone about the change of code. But they didn't send us one. When they did send it after we complained, the new code didn't work. We came to find out two of the numbers were switched. When I asked the manager if we could get a discount, she said no, I'm not going to give you a discount. This all happened on the second day of our four day stay. It was very disappointing and we felt bad about the manager and their incompetency the rest of the stay. We will never stay there again or recommend this place to anyone.

Rats!!! Park claims they don't have a rodent problem…read more I have pack rats everywhere I didn't bring them with me. Dirt everywhere a guy came buy and apologized for the grass being dead because the sprinkler system was broken when he saw me racking the dirt. By the looks of things it hasn't worked in years, come on now at least you could have some garden hoses with sprinklers. What a pit, the worst ever and I have been in and I have been in horrible place's. Bad attitude they could care less, since they are the only place in town.

I stayed at Quinn River Campground for a few days/nights as part of a field trip exploring…read morevolcanics in the Cascade Mountains in Oregon through university in August 2017. The campground wasn't too full when we stayed and had ample space for all of us. The parking spaces for each campsite were decently sized and we were able to fit the field trip vehicles (including school vans) in without a problem. Noise was not an issue here and quiet hours were observed. The campsites has picnic tables and even ground. This made setting up tents easy and meant we had options as to where to set our tents up on a given campsite. Restrooms were interspersed throughout the campground and there was a water pump where we could go to pump clean/drinking water. Crane Prairie Reservoir borders the campground and it a lovely place to sit and stare at the stars, watch the sun rise, and watch the sun set. Chipmunks also occupied the campground when we were there. We came back to our food store one day to find chipmunks had gone after some bagels. Good reminder we shared the campground with wildlife during our stay.
